up to what distance you shot with it? and you really don't have to do any calculations, you press the button and hit the target?

I would play around with mounting that button on the stock where your left thumb would be. When you hold the rifle with your left hand, you could quickly push the button by simply moving your thumb rather than having to take your hand off the gun, push the button, then move your hand back up to the gun. Lot less hand/arm movements where a quick shot would need to be made for hunting.
Just a thought. I am going to buy one!

At 300 meters, with a 6.5 CM, the Point of impact is the point of aim for a steel target. less than 3 inches of drop. Id like to see you get out to 600+

I own the 3 and 4. My wife is hitting plate at 800 with her eliminator 3. Magnification is holding back on anything further, the light takes up allot of the target at 800 on 1/2 ipsc plate.

I have the version 3 on my 7mm REM mag. Last time out I set the rifle down, laid next to it…..all by myself at the desert range, and 1 M and F game and fish officers kinda snuck up behind me. Put the first cold shot and the next 4 on the steel at 700 yards right away. They were impressed. Just as easy at 1000 but the range was limited to 700. Great scope, optics on the Gen. 3 is “ok”.

My Eliminator III developed an electronic problem, and was replaced with a IV. The IV ranges much further and much quicker, but has a bright blue flashing light on the side that is super annoying at night - a stupid thing to put on a scope.

The new Eliminator 6 is a truly revolutionary scope in the Eliminator line. All it needs is a bit better reticle and the Hornady 4DOF ballistic engine to be supremely accurate.

Can it also be used at very close distances ? (10-100m). In order to compensate for the need of hold over/hold under to be perfectly accurate at close distances despite the gap between scope and barrel ? (I do have to shoot extremely precisely at various distances in this range and since I don't have the time to turn turrets, nor the envy to measure with a separate rangefinder and adapt the reticles scales according, it would be great to just have to click a button and to have the aimpoint right on spot !) . But I think this works only at longer distances and it also seems not to be very flexible if there are only the set dots that can illuminate ?...) (sorry for my bad english !)

Burris Eliminator 6. Cause I bought one more for my other Browning X-bolt speed rifle 7MM PRC. But can't find out the ammo "Hornady precision Hunter ELD-X 7mm PRC" from CARTRIDGE list. So Disappointed ! Waste my money!😢

How do you mount it on a cantilevered scope rail?
Will it hold up to recoil from .50BMG?
I have downloaded the app to my android and it's got a lot of flexibility on tap.
    But....
What do I need to do to mount it effectively on an M82A1 and will it survive use?

@@travisrasmussen9201 Set up an older model for a friend, it was a pain in the ass. I could have zero'd a regular scope and had dope for it in minutes, verified at distance in less than an hour. It took two trips to the range make corrections on the scope so it would be reasonably accurate out to 600. Still wouldn't trust it past 600. No problem with a regular scope that I'd dial for distance. Easy and accurate.
