For others like me who have to rewatch over and over - row two starts at 5:32 and row three starts at 9:20 Thank you for breaking it down so well for beginners!! You’re a great teacher 👍
Thank you so much! I made one for my Mom using two colors of cotton: white for the single crochet rows and a denim jeans mixture for the blocks, making sure every blue row follows every white row from the same side. The result is amazing because the blocks look even more 'framed' and my Mom is so happy. Keep up the good work. Lots of love from Munich!
Love your videos! I have learned so much watching you. I just made this same infinity scarf with the same color and stitch. And of course I learned the stitch from you. Thanks for being a great teacher!
I'm going to try this stitch tomorrow. Sounds simple enough :) your instructions were wonderful and clear! And on a side note, your voice is very pretty and soft to listen to. Thanks for sharing.
Great job on the tutorial! You give very clear instructions using proper terminology AND your tone of voice is pleasing (some others...not so much! :) ha ha) and great video where we can see everything. Thanks so much!
This is such a beautiful pattern. Thank you for posting. I am going to make one for my sister and then try it out with some variegated wool yarn that I have to see what that might look like.
This is the first time I've seen one of your videos and I really like the way you show us how to do it. It's the easiest I've seen to follow along with. Super easy to see what you are doing and I love how you show it over and over so if I didn't get the hang of it right away I can practice along without constantly pausing and going back. Thanks! Can't wait to make this :)
I like your videos. Your tutorial is clear, nice and it is really good to understand. Greetings from Calgary! By the way I like your voice also :) . it is so relaxing to listen to you!!!!!
so easy and it turns out so beautifully even on medium sized yearn I did a practice run on some white yearn I had I wanted to make sure I could do this before I went and bought the thinker yarn thank u for sharing this ^_^
Hi I did try this very beautiful cowl but was to thick with the yarn I used so made it into a bag instead. Next time I wont use really thick yarn . I used razetti contessa. Thank you I love all yr video's :)
Hey! Great video! so much easier to understand than others, but i have one question, i want to make this scarf longer than just 26 stitches wide, how many stitches do i add extra for each hole? In your video you have 6 holes after the first round, how many stitches do i need to make if i for example want 10 holes? :) Looking forward for your answer.
+Emilie Bustillo You would add an extra 4 stitches per additional square (3 to make spaces for the hole, and 1 to close it). So, to make a total of 10 squares/holes, you would need to add an extra 4(4) = 16 stitches, for a total of 26 + 16 = 42 stitches. Hope this helps! :)
Hi Jennifer! I made this particular cowl. After completing it I thought I would like to have made it wider. So I was wondering if you would share with me the multiple of this pattern so that I can make it wider? Thank you.
This is my first attempt at crocheting. Your video has been very helpful. My question is how to finish this piece? I have no idea on how to or where to stop.
Hi, I enjoyed your classes... matter of fact, I like to know have you ever did a sweater coat crochet stitch doing the linen stitch. If so I want the sweater coat long with different variations of yarns all through the coat...if you have any ideas can you demonstrate for me... just I'm am on the same page.....junnieb. ...
Hi Jennifer, Your video's are amazing! Do you by chance know how to make the Dallas Dream Scarf?? I have seen a video on how to button it but no pattern instructions. Just wondering as your video's are easy and pleasent to follow..Thanks again for posting all your get projects
Hey there, Stephanie, I was reading this comment and I hope by now you found out how to make it. As I looked at the Dallas Scarf, it just seemed like a wider chain of stitches plus ONE. So...40...+1 or multiples of 10 + 1. Then you work double crochets on the back loop all the way down the scarf...and when you are done...find the corner where the buttons will be positioned and rewatch the buttoning video! :) I'll try that this week and see what happens.
Hello, it's me again (one of your favorite fans), asking the same question...how long does it take (estimate). I only ask this question, because I always need to block out time on planner to do projects.
How do you film your projects? I need advise. Im new at videoing and i have just a cricket cellphone. I don't know how to prop something so that its above my hands. Lol i feel weird for asking. 😊
I've made 2 of these lovely cowls. I'm working on my 3rd, and keep tearing it out. With all 3, I've had the same problem. The side where I've started row 1, is a good 1" shorter than the other side. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.

Thank you. Here I go. Wish me luck...

Is the chain count in threes? I'd like to make it a blanket.
Love the cowl can u tell me the size yarn you used, I have 6oz. 170 g, is that too bulky?
Están Preciosas, gracias por compartir.
Thank you for this tutorial! Question: does the cowl end with Row 2 or Row 3?
Hi Jennifer, for those overseas who cant obtain the yarns shown could you give yardage amounts please. Thanks Ros NZ

I've made 2 of these lovely cowls. I'm working on my 3rd, and keep tearing it out.
With all 3, I've had the same problem.
The side where I've started row 1, is a good 1" shorter than the other side.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks.
what are the multiples for the chain, if you needed to make it for a larger person?
What is the size of the wooden button in this video for reference. Thanks
Would make wonderful gifts also.
I agree, might have to make a few more! :)
This is awesome! Thank you 😸
Excellent
Bonjour quelle est le numero du crochet et combien de rang faut il faire et combien de laine Vos explications sont très bien faite à l image merci de me répondre j aimerais bien le faire !!
Can you use a worsted weight yarn.
Love this cowl. I have a question, could I use a #5 yarn instead of a #6 yarn? Do I adjust the size of the hook and the number chains?
i was wondering the same, but i guess if measurements are 10" across, use that as the guide
I love this.
Pomysłowe i piękne.
I just love your knitting how do you do this so fast
Could you use 2 strands of worsted weight yarn together?
