Beautiful old van. I love 60s era trucks and vans. So much more character and personality than modern ones. Don Knotts did alot of promotional videos for Dodge back in the 60s and they are a hoot to watch. Who doesn't love looking at vintage Dodge vehicles mixed in with a healthy dose of comedy and hot real American woman from back in the day..cheers and Happy Holidays!

I just got a 1976 Dodge A 100. It has a 65 Wedge 413 and 727 auto.
Many years ago back in the 70s Coming from a big family We had a Dodge van. exactly like that one It was a 1968

Awesome van, although I'm a g10 van man I had a 66 a100 panel cargo van (no side or rear windows) that I loved she a a chevy 327 t350 . I would buy another panel lwb this time . I am going opposite of you with my 69 chevy g10 108, she has a 94 z28l lt1 . Since I don't want to add hei I put a points and carb'd intake and she runs very warm and funky. I have cables for everything and have to use my hand for the gas pedal so I'm putting in a 65 283, I can put her orig shifter and gas pedal linkages and bracket back on plus my fact gouges can be plugged back in. Hope the van got finished and you are happy
I’d love to mount a gen 3 hemi in my 2001 dodge van. Unfortunately, no local shop will touch it.

I know this was 2 years ago, and not much in the way of videos since .... but if you are still monitoring this ... what size rear tires and rims are on the van. I have an 1966 A100 pickup ... currently putting a 360 magnum 727 in it, and converting the front brakes to disc brakes. It sits higher than your van, but I would like wider rear tires ... yours look pretty wide. I used to have a 68 LWB Dodge van, but had it high enough, that I fit N50's under the rear ... 12" wide, and they were great ... but I don't want my pickup that high.
@@orionbennett776 Hey man! Thanks for the comment. They are 15s. 205/60 in the front on a 15x7 and 255/60 on the rear with a 15x8.5.

The disc brake brackets are from scarebird which I believe are discontinued. There is a way I found online with a template to DIY your own bracket and use dodge dakota brakes. It is in the facebook A100 group.
And yes I've gotten a harness already from DIYHemi (now Sublime Technologies) and it is set to work with the OEM computers needed. The trans is controlled by a unit sold by Sound German Automotive.
