Great to meet you James. Well done on organizing the RMTR. We had a blast. We had a late night on the Alpine loop on Thursday and had to leave right after we finished California Pass on Saturday, so we didn’t get to spend much time at headquarters meeting and talking with everyone. Next year! I will be coming back next year for sure if I can get a spot. Thanks for the sub!
@@destinationjourney_overland FYI we did notice a big participation dropoff for Saturday dinner, which (a few people told me directly) was tied to them having a ~2 day drive home. So one of our tweaks for next year is we're moving the event up a day, so the last day of trail runs is Friday rather than Saturday. Which will be nice because Telluride is too busy on Saturdays anyway 🙂 see you next year!
Great video! I didn't know you were filming or had a RUclips channel. You made the Talon look good on the trails!! (Kind of glad you didn't show the hiccup on Mineral Creek 😄)
I will be making about 6 videos based on this trip. The trails, and Mountain View’s are unbelievable. Great little towns and mining history scattered through this whole area. Pictures and video just don’t do them justice. But I tried

WOW!! Now that is a truly scenic journey. I have been to this area and the history of these towns and mountains is worth reading or studying.
