I played the intern which was an added character in my school performance way back in the day, and was assistant stage manager. My favorite play by far

They changed the script so much what the hell

What did they change?
A lot of lines pertaining to Fairy/Ferris would’ve had to be changed, and there’s room for improvisation in any production. (The person who plays Jeff in our production added a line about garden hour, and it’s a different thing every time. But it’s normally a joke about burying his war bonds.)
Can't wait to perform this at my school!

I joined drama club but I wanted to work backstage then 4 weeks before the play half of the cast quit now I'm Mrs. Willie and we have like a week and a half before the play I am genuinely freaking out.

I’m playing Fairy May in my school’s production. We are so, SO not ready, and our first show was supposed to be in four days. (We changed it to an invite only dress rehearsal.) If we perform a quarter as well as these people did, it will have been a massive success.
Edit: Our two final shows were this past weekend. We pulled together, and we had a blast.
