I’m autistic and when I think of people perceiving me, I remind myself I AM PERCEIVING THEM TOO and have ideas, judgments and thoughts and emotions about THEM TOO. I choose to slide the pedestal away from underneath them. Yes, they perceive me, but I am perceiving them too. And have opinions. They can see me as sensitive - I in return maybe see them as brusque and insensitive. Take your power back ❤

I feel like we have a lot in common. I grew up very uncomfortable just existing as a human being, and didn't really understand why everyone around me seemed to have a much easier time while I was constantly struggling internally. As an adult now I still don't really have friends because it's so hard for me to connect with people and really feel like I can be my true self. You're not alone Sadie. We don't know eachother, but sending you love nonetheless ❤

This was such a thorough and beautifully put video. When you talked about being judged just for existing and being afraid of being judged because people always misconstrue who you actually are, damn. Thank you for this🥰.

Sadie you should not care about what others think of you. You r you. God created you. And you r special in your own way. I use to try to get everyone to like me and that is impossible. The one person that excepts you and loves you just as you are is P.

One thing i know for sure is, you never, ever need to feel misunderstood by me, and im sure many of your subscribers feel the same way. We get you, we see & hear you and ultimately we love you to bits, and that remains whatever mood youre in ! As i often say, we're all fundamentally flawed as humans, and the more we acknowledge that the smoother life is ! Which connects to Shadow work, the Yin and the Yang ☯️ everything really ❤

From my point of view, I'd like to say that you send out quite comforting and friendly vibes. And -- if I may add this -- your hair is really awesome. It's such a beautiful, long and well-cared shiny mane. When you did your self-haicut video, I was so worried that you would cut it shorter. Thank God this did not happen. All the best to you! :) :)

That will never happen so don’t worry (about the short haircut) ☺️

Funny! I actually cut off my hair (done it before as a teenager) 4 years ago. I had my partner trim it. Now I go around bald for a week before it grows back and then I have to trim it again within a week otherwise it just looks weird 😅

I've been admiring Sadie's lovely locks for a while too. I've noticed if I use my straighteners on the lowest setting it looks healthier and fuller. It's not even curly mind you, just has an irritating kink in it that looks better after straightening! At least if it was curly I'd have some volume to it, but it's very fine probably due to years of colouring, heat damage and no doubt the ubiquitous 40 something year old hormone fluctuations! Can blame them for my fluctuating weight as well, gggrrrr !

Sadie, you are COOKIN ON GAS right now with all these frequent, authentic AF, spontaneous sort of creations you're sharing with us ! I'm 47 and have a furry Panda that sits next to 'my place ' on the settee, and I'm not bothered to admit i stroke and talk to it frequently ! We had the mos t loved and wonderful Yorkshire Terrier, Betsy who sadly passed in January last year, so in a way i think it replaces that part of me that misses caring for her and the affection she brought into my life. ❤

Thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing this with us💛
I was diagnosed at the age of 30 (now almost 34) also a female. I completely understand you, it's what you say, we have a different experience from neurotypicals. And even then it's different for every autistic person. You've explained everything so well! I saw your live feed from yesterday where you said Turkish triggers you. I grew up speaking Russian and I didn't even grow up in a Russian speaking country. It triggers me as well. There is just so much negativity. Like you, I speak a different language with my partner, he's also Turkish by the way which is why I understand your point even more.
Could you explain to me what a meltdown feels like? I have a conversion disorder, so it seems. But I don't think I've had a meltdown before. I remember my brother (undiagnosed) screaming when we were little, it was something I can't even explain... I wonder if it were meltdowns for him.
Anyway thank you, please be kind to yourself 💖

    • @SadieP
      @SadieP  6 месяцев назад +2

Yeah your brothers screaming was probably a meltdown… it’s different for everyone some people become numb and shut down. My meltdowns are usually feeling overwhelmed and then crying uncontrollably (even in public settings which really sucks)

@@SadiePeven just replying to this question about Meltdowns and recalling crying in public will have helped and comforted many people reading this !

Sadie, it may seem difficult right now, you truly need to get therapy, even consider some medication, of a natural or pharmaceutical, you need quality of life. To succeed at any life or relationship/s , your current situation will destroy any success of it. You’re tough, you’re strong with a mind to match, I am certain you know deep down, your current days are not sustainable for balance. I wish you all the best. Much light 🌺

I’m not sure what you’re talking about I’m literally the most content I’ve ever been so far in life. It’s been a tough first three decades…

@@SadiePI suspect you're a lot like me: I've had people suggest Therapy, and have tried Counselling and Life Coaching, but I'm very self aware and have read so much on the subject, I feel I know what's coming and my depression makes me ask: what's the point and it won't help! Also, to some extent the work involved is so painful and leaves me so emotional and melancholy that it starts to feel like pointless naval gazing and dredging up agonies from the past.

You come off sincere and I'm very comfortable with your presence on line, also on live stream.
Your really come off very grounded, actually
    insecurity plays games with us.
I understand all the ways you feel, but in the end , we just need to accept ourselves, and each other
But you are doing great, and your sense of humor and enthusiasm, mixed with your shy demeanor, is all good,
now you are at an age that you will be a good mix of all your characteristics
