Yo, in Dynamite Valley, when you're turning the wheel, I've found that the enemies can't touch you while you're turning the wheel, and they also, after, they seem to be stunned or something right after. You don't need the flash grenade. Just wanted to share this with you.

There are parts of my run that I seriously could not have progressed through if it wasn’t for this guide. I ended up making a lot of mistakes which slowed me down a lot. I finished with only 18 seconds left 💀 But because of your guide I was able to make it and finally get the cat ears. This run in particular inspired me to recently complete a "No Bonus Weapons" run on Professional for S+ rank and I luckily completed it only shy of one minute from your completion time in this run. I bet this guide helped a lot of people. I find it really useful myself as there are some sections of the game I am not comfortable with and I plan on trying your strategies.. I love the way you explain things and make people see the game in a much different light. I finally got my cat ears last night. Your guides really helped me with optimizing when to use ammo, when to run, the timing for upgrading items, etc. I'm subscribed now since the gameplay and commentary are also relaxing and entertaining. [Fun fact: When I finally got my S+ Professional Run done, it rolled over to midnight and became my birthday. I turned 27 at the end of the run, the same age as Leon in this game.]
I know I'm kinda late to the party, but I just got my Professional S+ without bonus items, it took me a few runs but I've just now managed to complete it at 4:19hrs. Your guide was of invaluable help, well structured, and it gave me some wiggle room for errors and whatnot. All and all, this guide made the challenge all the more fun, and even if I got frustrated at some points at the castle, I persevered and got to the end in time. It's all thanks to you man, so cheers for that!
Huge shout out to you champion! I tried to work out how to S rank this on pro/no extras/no rocket launcher/no golden egg salazar myself but after immense struggles (cabin omg), I fell apart with no ammo at water hall and realised I was going way too slow anyway haha! Watching this gave me enough hope to try again seeing you had spare time, and I just did it! in 5.29.44!!! :O. I don't even wanna comment on how many times I had to repeat last chapter to go fast enough haha, easily one of the biggest adrenaline hits of my life haha! For those of you giving this a go, and like me, have way less reaction speed/ability to dodge/ability to aim quickly/ and need to use every damn health item you come across it's still doable just slower. I had to go out of my way to get a few more safe treasures to afford the extra first aid sprays and hunt for a few more fish and buy a couple of extra damage upgrades to get the bosses down in enough ammo compared to you to do it but I got there! Notable differences for me in the hope it helps others if they do the kill the bosses no cheese way :D: There are MANY moments he chucks a flashbang to be safe/slightly quicker, but i opted to be a little more risky and run/use health and take a hit so I could craft more ammo with the gunpowder. Because of this I had more resources, you can also pick up all explodey bolts/normal bolts/sub mach ammo and sell them for more money (more knife/armor repairs/health spray/gun upgrade) I had way less ammo/health in chapter 5 (cabin chapter) but way more knives (the game gave me 3? Though your survival knife on full would be enough im sure as long as you can still backstab a couple by cabin). You can stealth kill like... EVERYONE from the church with ashley all the way to the cabin. Only exceptions are the first guy who walks into the church, last guy at graveyard (pistol shot his molotov he burns himself to death 1 bullet), bull and ganado next to him in the very last village part before you cross the bridge. You can run between almost all of them with the right pathing. My total chapter time there was only 4 mins slower then this video even with all the kills, let me get loads of ammo/money and the village treasure that ashley climbs to get. This was an absolute lifesaver for me pre-cabin when i did not have enough resources for the flashbangs/rifle + shogun ammo to clean it up safely. All chainsaw wielding bad guys have a parry qte on most of their attacks that is much easier than a normal perfect parry and can set you up to chop more ganado/grenade + shotgun all together if you want to, or just to live a bit more dangerously, this was key to me getting many treasures he skipped and was normally worth the knife durability or the first aid spray id need to buy to cover the cost of the gaining the treasure. You can catch the train thing back in the castle after you get caged for a really quick pick up of 2 treasures (small key + cube puzzle) in audience chamber. if you run at the glorious las plagas mob first and bait their attacks, you can then pick up the treasures without them running at you, most times i didnt need a single bullet, sometimes 1 shogun/flashbang was enough just to get out the cage with cube puzzle and resume running away. I also struggled hard for some reason doing the bell order you suggested on the knights down the elevator for ashley section, on the 2nd pull the knights would be very unpredictable and push each other into me for an inescapable hit. Pulling front left/front right/back right/back left then using the lantern to freeze whatever is coming at you dangerously, then run for the exit there worked much more reliably for me.... otherwise doing front left 2nd seemed to get the knights stuck on each other in a wierd way where they would push into each other mid swing and like... boost towards me and clip me 70% percent of the time. Clocktower you can run straight to first hiding alcove when the guy rolls the ball, and use it to kill everyone you encounter up to there, just flashbang in the alcove, then kick them all into the stairway. This took practice, you gotta get really good at understanding the scythe wielding guys attacks/parries/evasions or just shotgun them as they are super dangerous and reach stupidly far with their attacks, but for me was Super neccessary for ammo haha, only had to use rifle to kill the ball rolling guy after! There is a gun power for free you ran past in chapter 14 directly opposite the first aid spray in the tent on the table( just after you grenade the campfire guys before krauser) Chapter 15 last area before picking up ashley, I had alot less ammo (no magnum, about 6x shotgun/rifle) after fighting krauser no rocket launcher T_T haha. This area can be done very quick and safely without with speed skip. Pistol the 2 crossbow guys at the start, pistol all the bugs. climb when pig aggroes, pistol/snipe the rocket guy, shoot barrel to his right for the other crossbow guy. If pig climbs too fast and you hear his gun whirl up, shoot the gun on his wrist, 1-2 pistol shots blows it up and downs him to buy you time. Run to the room with the dynamite guy, shoot the trap to get it, run straight past dynamite guy past the explodey barrel, shoot barrel to kill baseball bat guy, then dynamite to take out dynamite guy. Shotgun crossbow legs on way upstairs and run through door keeping left to run straight past pig that bursts in, shotgun legs of guy on the switch (if his head pops you got problems, press switch, then if pig followed you shoot barrel then flash to get past pig 2 in the doorway, or just straight flash run past both. Jump over railing to dodge all the shield guys coming up, flash one more time outside and run to last door. This was VERY fast and I rarely got hit with practice, took only 2 shotgun and 2 rifle (rocket guy and crossbow guy when pig chases for me but they could be pistolled, would just mean more pig management while you do it). This left me with enough to fight saddler (bugs drop ammo mid fight/boxes around the arena). AGAIN THANK YOU! I love your positivity and encouragement and explanation, you heavily assisted getting me there with 16 seconds to spare haha you are a gaming hero!

I barely ever comment, but thanks to your guide I finally defeated Mendez on hardcore, and finished the entire chapter in 16 minutes. Compared to the 20 I ran on my first this is heaven. Almost every professional guide doesn't work for hardcore, and hardcore guides don't really exist, other than "just defeat 'em" but I need that chicken hat. I can really respect people who keep trying over and over to develop a tactic :') Also I can agree, your voice is hella soothing :D

i did it in 5 hours and 29 mins.. the thing i learned is..if u die and load the previous save right away,the amout of time u took from ur last save will be added, so u have to quit the game and load ur save game, then only u will not lose ur time .. and thank u so much extriaa for this run..🥰🥰🥰

This guide was a huge help during my no bonuses run. I started a new profile and fired up Pro after beating the game on Assisted so I could unlock all the bonus items at once. I had some truly awful moments here and there but over the course of several days I squeaked through at 5:15. Your vibe and energy helped keep me calm and encouraged while trudging through. I cannot wait to tear through on assisted with infinite ammo to get my revenge!

@@marek2279 Again that's on you. AI is random for the most part. Sometimes it behaves a certain way and other times it doesn't. Professional on the Remake is very different from the original. Just takes time. I usually tend to have Ashley "stray" by making her keep distance then come back a lot. Usually breaks up the randomness.
Hello! Today, I got my cat ears by beating Professional S+ without bonus weapons. I was patient from the begining to the end, with you and your video, I've learned so much about some skips and other things to do, even if it was not perfect but it's efficient. It took me two weeks but I finally did it. Beat it with a 5:06:22. This is easily the hardest challenge I've done in any game, and I've SL1 the entire souls series. Thank you for making this possible extriaa, hope to see you do more challenge runs like no merchant in the future! And to anyone out there who struggled as I did, ABUSE DE-AGGRO ZONES. The bella sisters, many castle parts, regenerators, first machine gun pig head, and lots of other spots where all you have to do is run back and forth to de-aggro and re-aggro. They still take damage when running from you, abuse it!!!
Holy Hell......Used this guide to the letter for the most part. Was really adamant about not wanting to use armor Ashley or the sweeper/hand cannon. Took me just over 5 hours but got my cat ears. Thank You so much for the guides. They are extremely well done.

I just want to leave an appreciation comment, as one of your previous videos helped me to get the final unlocks I needed! Thanks so much for the encouraging commentary. On an extra note, I think most of people, including me, get less consistent setups and strats by aiming with a controller, I just want to stress how this is normal and ok. I was playing on the PS5 and on the heat of the moment it is hard to proper align the shots, and missing a shot sometimes puts you in a bad situation, but the guide does point to enough heals for anyone to come back and you can always buy one extra Spray per chapter at the Merchant. I clocked around 5h10 in two runs due a lot of those mistakes and it was still fine.
Honestly, thank you dude, no glitches, no shopping list of items needed to make the run easier, just jump in with your wits about you. As much as I love this game, it’s gonna be easy to overplay the game and become bored of it, so I just want all the stuff now so that when I want to play it again, I have it, with all the knowledge you’ve given me.
I can honestly say without you I would not of been able to achieve this. After about 40 restarts of the entire game i finally got the no bonus run in 5:05. I died on the jet ski at the end and the monitor nearly needed up out the window but I had enough time. Thank you so much and please continue to make these amazing videos. :)

I've rewatched several of your posts on RE4. Truly impressive, how easy you make new game look w/o extras. I'm an OLD gamer. (I was in my 40s when I played the Original RE4) Reflexes not what they used to be. I'm trying a Pro S+ run using gas mask, Chicago Sweeper w/ armored Ashley and I'm STILL struggling like hell. You make me feel like I'm moving in slow-mo in this game. 😏
Meanwhile I bought a single gold ticket for an early access of unli ammo for the hand cannon. Used a chicken hat. Followed this guide and still struggling! Not much of a gamer😅

If you were going into war and had to get your troops mentally prepared, you’d be amazing. Even if they got slaughtered, you’d have them believing they were untouchable. With the help of your guide, I managed to do the professional run without any bonus item after beating the game one time in Standard. Boy it was brutal and damn hard sometimes, but I finally did it with 5:22 on the timer. It was was really helpful, so thank you for this!

Thank you for taking your time to share the S+ no accessory, no armor ashely, no infinite wp too. The large resource case is OP, flash grenade make many thing go smooth, and well explain on the vid too, good job XD . As for those want S+ even easier, equip at save point/out of combat zone gas mask for headshot aim assisst, chicken hat if you need to run through thing for chapter 1-2-3, wolf tail to boost interactive damage (kick, knife escape, knife on boss weak point), deer horn for krauser 1st fight. In case you dont have accessory or want to go naked as this guide, the strat in this guide pretty solid, not much RNG or risk, great guide again.

Hey man just wanted to say this is a great guide. I was doing it with no bonus weapons or apparel, and I'm not sure I would've beaten professional at all before I gave up from frustration, much less in under 5 1/2 hours, without this guide. Thanks to you I beat it in about 5:05! Also you just have a calming way that you speak that makes you easy to listen to. Having said that, there were a few parts I think your skill made look easier than they actually are haha. I used different strategies from you at a handful of places that, for me, made them easier. For anyone struggling like I was, here are the major parts I did differently: 1. Skipped the first garrador fight where you have to turn the crank to raise the gate and exit. If you sneak right next to the crank and then flash him, you can be quick enough to raise the gate and escape before he can get to you. Missing the loot in this room was well worth it after I died 3 times in a row trying to snipe that darn weak point haha. 2. I completely cleared the water room. I tried running quickly like you did, but either my skills or luck were awful and ashley kept getting caught. It didn't help that I was very low on shotgun ammo and heals when I got to this part. Instead, I slowly and methodically cleared the room. Getting to loot the room means starting the encounter with low ammo wasn't as crippling as I thought. It certainly eats up time, but if you're on a good pace and your only goal is under 5 1/2 hours, I recommend this. I followed this youtube video as a guide. ruclips.net/video/fuEjq0vz4x0/видео.html&ab_channel=MasterKD 3. Mostly cleared the area with two turrets in chapter 15 when Mike runs out of ammo. Again, trying to speedrun it with so many enemies got me some unlucky deaths (like dropping from a railing and landing right on a stick of dynamite 🙃). I essentially cleared out everyone before pulling the first switch, then you just have to run from the reinforcements to get the second. Made it much easier for me. Since this is so late in the game, you should be well aware if you have the time to spare or not to take those 1-2 minutes to clear house. For anyone still doing this, don't give up! There was a time or two in my run where I thought I would just have to start the run over, as I nearly completely ran out of ammo, resources, heals, etc. But I ended up beating it with plenty of all 3. The castle is definitely the hardest/most frustrating part. Once you make it past the double garrador room, it becomes much easier. Again, kudos Extriaa for a great guide!
This is such a thorough and well explained walkthrough!! I've been hesitant to try a professional playthrough (RE4 Is my first action game and I've been apprehensive about it) but after finishing my first run a few days ago I have a new motivation to try my hand at the platinum trophy!! Your reassurance and calm commentary have made this challenge a great deal less daunting than it used to be, and, as a result, I'm planning to try my first (most likely of many) attempts tomorrow with an optimistic outlook!
Barely am managing to get hardcore on my NG+ run. Will then use your chicago sweeper or handcannon guide to get myself cat ears. Aiming is really hard on consoles compare to PC(Hope my gas mask will help ones I complete this NG+ on professional). Glad to see your channel being consistent so much now. Hoping to see this same help from you with more upcoming games Baldur's Gate 3, diablo, FF XVI etc(not sure if RPGs are your thing lol). your guides are simply awesome.
Thanks for proving easily the game can be completed and is intended to be played no bonus items to truly get S+ on 'professional'. To work out this all out you truly are a high class professional gamer :D. It always annoys me when people make claims like the game is supposed to be played on the hardest modes with infinite ammo only haha! (not taking away from anyone who uses all the extra items, games should be fun whatever that is to you at its core, i just love seeing it done both by player and developer to this level!)
This is so difficult, though I love games, I'm absolute garbage at them 😂 this guide has helped me tremendously, I'm still trying to get Ashley's armor in hardcore, but I watch professional runs cuz they share a lot of tips and tricks that help me also in hardcore. One day I'll get those cat ears 🥺 if I beat the other RE games in the highest difficulty, I can also beat this one, not gonna be the exception.
I think you will get the cat ear soon, this remake have many solution for professional mode, the accessory help a lot, the worst case to make the run even more easier is to get 1 premium ticket for 2$ or so. Make it to chapter 2 and you got yourself an infinite wp to solve some part of the game, if you not get hit alot on hardcore it the same as professional because the adaptive AI will at max level, enemy aggressive and damage will scale up. In case you want to do it without DLC, this guide is great and simple to follow.
@@Extriaa I just got the S+ achievement and the cat ears 😭 that was a pain in the butt but it's finally over, tysm for your guides 💙 took me 4hours, 30 mins 45 secs. Now the hardest achievement ahead is to get an S in all shooting ranges.

I used your guide and S tiered professional on new game plus. Finished around 5 hours. Great strats, some hilarious moments and you were so upbeat. I loved how you kept reassuring about ammo, where a save would be, etc. kept me confident the whole way through! God bless
ooooh a tip :D When you were buying the Blacktail but didn't have space, you don't have to back out of the attache case to sell things. Anything you place in the side storage when you go to buy something and don't have enough space for it, gets automatically sold to the merchant :D

playing the game on pc i can handle the enemies pretty well with my godly aim thanks to the mouse i pretty much never miss a shot also the quicker camera movements thanks to the mouse make it easier to manuever around and quick turn using aim cancel animation Professional run on Ps5 was horendous i had to do it for the Platinum but never again playing shooters with controler is the nightmare

Just to be ready, I'm currently watching this and doing it as you say (disregarding a few sour encounters) but playing on standard before doing it on hardcore as a way of preparation before professional. As of now I've started chapter 8 and have only taken around 50 minutes longer than you. Yo, in Dynamite Valley, when you're turning the wheel, I've found that the enemies can't touch you while you're turning the wheel, and they also, after, they seem to be stunned or something right after. You don't need the flash grenade. Just wanted to share this with you.
At the giant section, when you're first passing through, throw a Flash instead of a grenade and you'll kill ALL the crows.

Dude, I seriously just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. As someone who decided to skip hardcore and go straight to professional with no bonus items, this guide helped immensely. There are parts of my run that I seriously could not have progressed through if it wasn’t for this guide. I ended up making a lot of mistakes which slowed me down a lot. I finished with only 18 seconds left 💀 But because of your guide I was able to make it and finally get the cat ears. Again thank you so much and I hope you channel takes off very very soon because the content you put out is phenomenal!!

I finally got my cat ears last night. Your guides really helped me with optimizing when to use ammo, when to run, the timing for upgrading items, etc. I'm subscribed now since the gameplay and commentary are also relaxing and entertaining.
[Fun fact: When I finally got my S+ Professional Run done, it rolled over to midnight and became my birthday. I turned 27 at the end of the run, the same age as Leon in this game.]

I know I'm kinda late to the party, but I just got my Professional S+ without bonus items, it took me a few runs but I've just now managed to complete it at 4:19hrs. Your guide was of invaluable help, well structured, and it gave me some wiggle room for errors and whatnot. All and all, this guide made the challenge all the more fun, and even if I got frustrated at some points at the castle, I persevered and got to the end in time. It's all thanks to you man, so cheers for that!
Huge shout out to you champion! I tried to work out how to S rank this on pro/no extras/no rocket launcher/no golden egg salazar myself but after immense struggles (cabin omg), I fell apart with no ammo at water hall and realised I was going way too slow anyway haha! Watching this gave me enough hope to try again seeing you had spare time, and I just did it! in 5.29.44!!! :O. I don't even wanna comment on how many times I had to repeat last chapter to go fast enough haha, easily one of the biggest adrenaline hits of my life haha! For those of you giving this a go, and like me, have way less reaction speed/ability to dodge/ability to aim quickly/ and need to use every damn health item you come across it's still doable just slower. I had to go out of my way to get a few more safe treasures to afford the extra first aid sprays and hunt for a few more fish and buy a couple of extra damage upgrades to get the bosses down in enough ammo compared to you to do it but I got there!
Notable differences for me in the hope it helps others if they do the kill the bosses no cheese way :D:
There are MANY moments he chucks a flashbang to be safe/slightly quicker, but i opted to be a little more risky and run/use health and take a hit so I could craft more ammo with the gunpowder.
Because of this I had more resources, you can also pick up all explodey bolts/normal bolts/sub mach ammo and sell them for more money (more knife/armor repairs/health spray/gun upgrade)
I had way less ammo/health in chapter 5 (cabin chapter) but way more knives (the game gave me 3? Though your survival knife on full would be enough im sure as long as you can still backstab a couple by cabin). You can stealth kill like... EVERYONE from the church with ashley all the way to the cabin. Only exceptions are the first guy who walks into the church, last guy at graveyard (pistol shot his molotov he burns himself to death 1 bullet), bull and ganado next to him in the very last village part before you cross the bridge. You can run between almost all of them with the right pathing. My total chapter time there was only 4 mins slower then this video even with all the kills, let me get loads of ammo/money and the village treasure that ashley climbs to get. This was an absolute lifesaver for me pre-cabin when i did not have enough resources for the flashbangs/rifle + shogun ammo to clean it up safely.
All chainsaw wielding bad guys have a parry qte on most of their attacks that is much easier than a normal perfect parry and can set you up to chop more ganado/grenade + shotgun all together if you want to, or just to live a bit more dangerously, this was key to me getting many treasures he skipped and was normally worth the knife durability or the first aid spray id need to buy to cover the cost of the gaining the treasure.
You can catch the train thing back in the castle after you get caged for a really quick pick up of 2 treasures (small key + cube puzzle) in audience chamber. if you run at the glorious las plagas mob first and bait their attacks, you can then pick up the treasures without them running at you, most times i didnt need a single bullet, sometimes 1 shogun/flashbang was enough just to get out the cage with cube puzzle and resume running away.
I also struggled hard for some reason doing the bell order you suggested on the knights down the elevator for ashley section, on the 2nd pull the knights would be very unpredictable and push each other into me for an inescapable hit.
Pulling front left/front right/back right/back left then using the lantern to freeze whatever is coming at you dangerously, then run for the exit there worked much more reliably for me.... otherwise doing front left 2nd seemed to get the knights stuck on each other in a wierd way where they would push into each other mid swing and like... boost towards me and clip me 70% percent of the time.
Clocktower you can run straight to first hiding alcove when the guy rolls the ball, and use it to kill everyone you encounter up to there, just flashbang in the alcove, then kick them all into the stairway. This took practice, you gotta get really good at understanding the scythe wielding guys attacks/parries/evasions or just shotgun them as they are super dangerous and reach stupidly far with their attacks, but for me was Super neccessary for ammo haha, only had to use rifle to kill the ball rolling guy after!
There is a gun power for free you ran past in chapter 14 directly opposite the first aid spray in the tent on the table( just after you grenade the campfire guys before krauser)
Chapter 15 last area before picking up ashley, I had alot less ammo (no magnum, about 6x shotgun/rifle) after fighting krauser no rocket launcher T_T haha. This area can be done very quick and safely without with speed skip. Pistol the 2 crossbow guys at the start, pistol all the bugs. climb when pig aggroes, pistol/snipe the rocket guy, shoot barrel to his right for the other crossbow guy. If pig climbs too fast and you hear his gun whirl up, shoot the gun on his wrist, 1-2 pistol shots blows it up and downs him to buy you time. Run to the room with the dynamite guy, shoot the trap to get it, run straight past dynamite guy past the explodey barrel, shoot barrel to kill baseball bat guy, then dynamite to take out dynamite guy. Shotgun crossbow legs on way upstairs and run through door keeping left to run straight past pig that bursts in, shotgun legs of guy on the switch (if his head pops you got problems, press switch, then if pig followed you shoot barrel then flash to get past pig 2 in the doorway, or just straight flash run past both. Jump over railing to dodge all the shield guys coming up, flash one more time outside and run to last door. This was VERY fast and I rarely got hit with practice, took only 2 shotgun and 2 rifle (rocket guy and crossbow guy when pig chases for me but they could be pistolled, would just mean more pig management while you do it). This left me with enough to fight saddler (bugs drop ammo mid fight/boxes around the arena).

I barely ever comment, but thanks to your guide I finally defeated Mendez on hardcore, and finished the entire chapter in 16 minutes. Compared to the 20 I ran on my first this is heaven. Almost every professional guide doesn't work for hardcore, and hardcore guides don't really exist, other than "just defeat 'em" but I need that chicken hat. I can really respect people who keep trying over and over to develop a tactic :') Also I can agree, your voice is hella soothing :D

i did it in 5 hours and 29 mins.. the thing i learned is..if u die and load the previous save right away,the amout of time u took from ur last save will be added, so u have to quit the game and load ur save game, then only u will not lose ur time ..

This guide was a huge help during my no bonuses run. I started a new profile and fired up Pro after beating the game on Assisted so I could unlock all the bonus items at once. I had some truly awful moments here and there but over the course of several days I squeaked through at 5:15. Your vibe and energy helped keep me calm and encouraged while trudging through. I cannot wait to tear through on assisted with infinite ammo to get my revenge!

@@marek2279 Again that's on you. AI is random for the most part. Sometimes it behaves a certain way and other times it doesn't. Professional on the Remake is very different from the original. Just takes time. I usually tend to have Ashley "stray" by making her keep distance then come back a lot. Usually breaks up the randomness.

It took me two weeks but I finally did it. Beat it with a 5:06:22. This is easily the hardest challenge I've done in any game, and I've SL1 the entire souls series. Thank you for making this possible extriaa, hope to see you do more challenge runs like no merchant in the future!
And to anyone out there who struggled as I did, ABUSE DE-AGGRO ZONES. The bella sisters, many castle parts, regenerators, first machine gun pig head, and lots of other spots where all you have to do is run back and forth to de-aggro and re-aggro. They still take damage when running from you, abuse it!!!

I just want to leave an appreciation comment, as one of your previous videos helped me to get the final unlocks I needed! Thanks so much for the encouraging commentary. On an extra note, I think most of people, including me, get less consistent setups and strats by aiming with a controller, I just want to stress how this is normal and ok. I was playing on the PS5 and on the heat of the moment it is hard to proper align the shots, and missing a shot sometimes puts you in a bad situation, but the guide does point to enough heals for anyone to come back and you can always buy one extra Spray per chapter at the Merchant. I clocked around 5h10 in two runs due a lot of those mistakes and it was still fine.

Honestly, thank you dude, no glitches, no shopping list of items needed to make the run easier, just jump in with your wits about you. As much as I love this game, it’s gonna be easy to overplay the game and become bored of it, so I just want all the stuff now so that when I want to play it again, I have it, with all the knowledge you’ve given me.

With the help of your guide, I managed to do the professional run without any bonus item after beating the game one time in Standard. Boy it was brutal and damn hard sometimes, but I finally did it with 5:22 on the timer. It was was really helpful, so thank you for this!

Thank you for taking your time to share the S+ no accessory, no armor ashely, no infinite wp too. The large resource case is OP, flash grenade make many thing go smooth, and well explain on the vid too, good job XD . As for those want S+ even easier, equip at save point/out of combat zone gas mask for headshot aim assisst, chicken hat if you need to run through thing for chapter 1-2-3, wolf tail to boost interactive damage (kick, knife escape, knife on boss weak point), deer horn for krauser 1st fight. In case you dont have accessory or want to go naked as this guide, the strat in this guide pretty solid, not much RNG or risk, great guide again.
You inspired me to do an S+ on Professional but using mostly the Handcannon & buy a couple of Rocket Launchers. I'm not good enough to try it your way. You are better than I.

Hey man just wanted to say this is a great guide. I was doing it with no bonus weapons or apparel, and I'm not sure I would've beaten professional at all before I gave up from frustration, much less in under 5 1/2 hours, without this guide. Thanks to you I beat it in about 5:05! Also you just have a calming way that you speak that makes you easy to listen to.
Having said that, there were a few parts I think your skill made look easier than they actually are haha. I used different strategies from you at a handful of places that, for me, made them easier. For anyone struggling like I was, here are the major parts I did differently:
1. Skipped the first garrador fight where you have to turn the crank to raise the gate and exit. If you sneak right next to the crank and then flash him, you can be quick enough to raise the gate and escape before he can get to you. Missing the loot in this room was well worth it after I died 3 times in a row trying to snipe that darn weak point haha.
2. I completely cleared the water room. I tried running quickly like you did, but either my skills or luck were awful and ashley kept getting caught. It didn't help that I was very low on shotgun ammo and heals when I got to this part. Instead, I slowly and methodically cleared the room. Getting to loot the room means starting the encounter with low ammo wasn't as crippling as I thought. It certainly eats up time, but if you're on a good pace and your only goal is under 5 1/2 hours, I recommend this. I followed this youtube video as a guide.

3. Mostly cleared the area with two turrets in chapter 15 when Mike runs out of ammo. Again, trying to speedrun it with so many enemies got me some unlucky deaths (like dropping from a railing and landing right on a stick of dynamite 🙃). I essentially cleared out everyone before pulling the first switch, then you just have to run from the reinforcements to get the second. Made it much easier for me. Since this is so late in the game, you should be well aware if you have the time to spare or not to take those 1-2 minutes to clear house.
For anyone still doing this, don't give up! There was a time or two in my run where I thought I would just have to start the run over, as I nearly completely ran out of ammo, resources, heals, etc. But I ended up beating it with plenty of all 3. The castle is definitely the hardest/most frustrating part. Once you make it past the double garrador room, it becomes much easier. Again, kudos Extriaa for a great guide!
In tempted to try on professional w/o bonus weapons. But I'm not putting myself through the stress again lol

This is such a thorough and well explained walkthrough!! I've been hesitant to try a professional playthrough (RE4 Is my first action game and I've been apprehensive about it) but after finishing my first run a few days ago I have a new motivation to try my hand at the platinum trophy!! Your reassurance and calm commentary have made this challenge a great deal less daunting than it used to be, and, as a result, I'm planning to try my first (most likely of many) attempts tomorrow with an optimistic outlook!
Barely am managing to get hardcore on my NG+ run. Will then use your chicago sweeper or handcannon guide to get myself cat ears. Aiming is really hard on consoles compare to PC(Hope my gas mask will help ones I complete this NG+ on professional). Glad to see your channel being consistent so much now. Hoping to see this same help from you with more upcoming games Baldur's Gate 3, diablo, FF XVI etc(not sure if RPGs are your thing lol). your guides are simply awesome.

Thanks for proving easily the game can be completed and is intended to be played no bonus items to truly get S+ on 'professional'. To work out this all out you truly are a high class professional gamer :D. It always annoys me when people make claims like the game is supposed to be played on the hardest modes with infinite ammo only haha! (not taking away from anyone who uses all the extra items, games should be fun whatever that is to you at its core, i just love seeing it done both by player and developer to this level!)
This is so difficult, though I love games, I'm absolute garbage at them 😂 this guide has helped me tremendously, I'm still trying to get Ashley's armor in hardcore, but I watch professional runs cuz they share a lot of tips and tricks that help me also in hardcore. One day I'll get those cat ears 🥺 if I beat the other RE games in the highest difficulty, I can also beat this one, not gonna be the exception.

I think you will get the cat ear soon, this remake have many solution for professional mode, the accessory help a lot, the worst case to make the run even more easier is to get 1 premium ticket for 2$ or so. Make it to chapter 2 and you got yourself an infinite wp to solve some part of the game, if you not get hit alot on hardcore it the same as professional because the adaptive AI will at max level, enemy aggressive and damage will scale up. In case you want to do it without DLC, this guide is great and simple to follow.
@@Extriaa I just got the S+ achievement and the cat ears 😭 that was a pain in the butt but it's finally over, tysm for your guides 💙 took me 4hours, 30 mins 45 secs. Now the hardest achievement ahead is to get an S in all shooting ranges.

I made the mistake of watching another guide for my first play though which took a whopping 17 hours for me to complete.
I used your guide and S tiered professional on new game plus. Finished around 5 hours.

When you were buying the Blacktail but didn't have space, you don't have to back out of the attache case to sell things. Anything you place in the side storage when you go to buy something and don't have enough space for it, gets automatically sold to the merchant :D

playing the game on pc i can handle the enemies pretty well with my godly aim thanks to the mouse
i pretty much never miss a shot also the quicker camera movements thanks to the mouse make it easier to manuever around and quick turn using aim cancel animation
Professional run on Ps5 was horendous i had to do it for the Platinum but never again playing shooters with controler is the nightmare

I always saw the characters extra costumes and the charms and but since I'm new I never paid attention to them and only thought they were just for decoration so now that I know how useful they actually are I love that I found your channel, this will help me so much! Just to be ready, I'm currently watching this and doing it as you say (disregarding a few sour encounters) but playing on standard before doing it on hardcore as a way of preparation before professional. As of now I've started chapter 8 and have only taken around 50 minutes longer than you. For the most part, this has helped alot so I just wanted to say thank you, I love this game and figured I should eventually move onto professional. Keep up the good work❤

Great guide man, fun fact I used the same loadout-> blacktail, riot and action bolt rifle. Still I did gloria las plagas room different. I sneak on first floor. Drop the chandelier on zealots and rush down the red one🏃♂️
