This was what was needed I knew how to it but hearing it and seeing it from Your channel makes it that much better for people to see that they can do it themselves.
Cancelling Tim Drake Robin from EE. Tired of McFarlane’s oversized figures. I’ll just get O’Donnel Robin instead. Hopefully they’ll also make Robin from Batman Forever.
I just did the same head swap but instead of the doing the height mod, I'm calling this my Dick Grayson Robin right before he becomes Nightwing. That way it's ok that he's as tall as Batman in my collection.
@@Toygains Yes with mcfarlane, those so called people who interview him don't even hesitate to ask, because they might lose their freebies from mcfarlane
I've been trying this technique with a Talon figure and having no luck whatsoever. Am I doing something wrong, or does it only work with certain figures?
Makes a huge difference. I’m a weirdo who doesn’t care at all about scale, but it’s good too know for when I inevitably change my tune.
Yeah it's more as a tool to use if you get bored.
Really glad you made this tutorial.
Glad to help :)
I like the head swap too. I’ve been thinking about doing that head swap. The stock head being so big just adds to the overall size of him.
I didn't want this Tim Drake Robin until I saw this video.
I'm subscribing so I can see more cool mods.
Awesome! Check my catwoman thigh swivel mod too.

Yeah it's really not as bad as it seems. With that being said. Only a few figures have bothered me enough to do it.
I always drill first, using the existing hole as a guide. Mark the drill bit with tape to know how far to drill.
Good tip! Thanks

Just saw two of your videos and you’re 2 for 2 so far. Love this content. Easy subscribe!
That made my morning.
Is always great to see the Dr in action.
Lol
Awesome! Thx my man! Let u know if it was a successful operation
Good luck doctor!
Yeah, McFarlane's scale can be a bit inconsistent. Good video. What brand of drill is that? Ridgid? Makita?
Ridgid. And thanks
You're welcome. Just so happens that my two biggest "things" are toys and power tools.@@Toygains

He's ok next to hush though

Nice
One question why does we have to buy a thing if we have to do our own modifying on each and every figure from mcfarlane
A lot of companies are under the assumption collectors don't care about scale being correct.

If I could send you my Wonder Woman and green lantern to shorten would you be up to do it for me? I’d pay you😭
Sure man.
@@Toygains wait Fr? What’s ur instagram?
Can you please confrim whether this one has the arkham head ? Looks great!
The Knightfall?
The robin is the Gotham knights one
😎
Does this possibly bring it down to Marvel Legends scale?
The issue is going to still be the broadness and with of the figures. So while the height may match up. They still may not scale.
I want to know where you got that Whoopi Goldberg from?
Ha. Toy show years ago. It's a Star Trek figure.

@@RandomHero_85 hmm. What's going wrong?
@Toygains I removed the feet at the ball joint and drilled up into the hole, but it doesn't seem to make a difference
@@RandomHero_85 you have to cut a bit from the ankle. Message me on IG I'll send pics
Is not your counter.. DC figures are horrible in standing..
I can't argue that. There's a strange sweet spot in the ankle that's near impossible to get sometimes.
Smh your doing to much thats unnecessary
