Hey All! First of all I would like to thank everyone of you for watching my videos! This year was my 10th year of filming at the Nürburgring and I couldn't have done it if it wasn't for all you guys and girls watching the videos, so THANK YOU! Secondly I want to apologize in advance for the annoying watermark in the middle of the video (again). Unfortunately my videos get used a lot on other social media without even crediting my channel, and my top watermark simply gets cut off (yes I am mostly looking at you, tiktok user "the2010bmw"). This is why I have to use the extra watermark in the middle of the screen. I hope it doesn't bother too much tough!
I love your Videos, because it Shows how a normal person will perform in a circuit. I have been watching your videos for 6 years. And now I live in germany hopefully one Day we will meet in the circuit

En la pista se creen los mejores conductores mientras no pueden controlar el vehículo en esas condiciones extremas. Y deberían sentir eso en su billetera. Protip for drivers losing control. The "brake pedal" is the middle one, or the big one on the left. Press it firmly. Hold it down until the vehicle comes to a stop. Good man.
sometimes u can power out of a crash but only someone who knows the car and what it can do will know this an amature will take a drift that at most should be a 90 and make it into a 360 or 540 spin

Google Street View Cars just have a big pole/tripod with a camera array mounted on it on the roof. This one looks like some self driving prototype to me but I'm not sure whatsoever
3:50 say what you will about Miatas and their drivers, but they tend to usually be the most well versed in track etiquette. That was a very smart move too move way off to the side

It's not only touristenfahrten sessions on this video , it's a best of with touristenfahrten sessions ( you can come with your own street legal car ) AND other races sessions ( where you have only race cars on the track , like endurance sessions for example ) But for sure some rental shops have "sportcars" to rent around the track , but generally it's just street legal cars with stickers , nothing else ^^' ( see they are street legal , i never seen a race car rented around track , but i can be wrong and it can exist , but if it's the case , it need to be towed from rental shop to track by a towing truck or something like this , see it's not street legal , it can't be bring by road directly with the race car ^^' and it will be sooooo much expansive with the caution , the towning etc ... )
@@PeBu34 np :) you too :) i hope you will manage to find a way to come drive on the 'ring , it's a super experience , even with a "normal" car not a race car :) ( but you still can rent BMW , Porsche , etc around the track , if you want a more powerful car :) oh and on the 'ring , road rules apply , like you can't pass on right , etc .. the track is like a normal public road during the open sessions :) with small differences obviously , like no speed limits and flags apply , but almost the same , and see it's like a public road , insurances work almost the same for a big part , useful to know if you come with your own car , just verify if your contract didn't forbid a such use of your car )

I had my first off today on track. Braked a fraction of a second too late, a fraction too little, and went straight into the gravel trap. No harm done, and extracted without expense.. but it showed me how close every corner of every lap is to the limit.
ESC exists for many of these reasons 😅 I know I can’t drive the way I need to be able to without it, so I never turn it off. In my 10+ years of driving, I have never been negatively affected by ESC

I don’t understand what the Porsche driver’s problem was with the Volvo 850? It doesn’t look like it was leaking oil or something so why did he go off the racing line before the corner and then give him a weird hand gesture when he spun?
Two options: 1) most likely, that Volvo guy was driving like an idiot. Which would also explain why he spun out. So the Porsche guy had a few choice words for that. 2) least likely, friends fucking with him
Is the surface there especially slippery or greasy? Some are going too fast for the corners they are taking. But there are some that look to be going a speed which shouldn't lose traction to the extent they do? Is it due to cold surface temps? The paint and graffiti etc?
Das Highlight (und der Grund, warum ich keine Touristenfahrten mache) ist der BMW bei Min. 13:00 - da schleicht er schon mit "Schritttempo" um die erste Kurve, meint dann wie wohl alle BMW Fahrer, dann driften zu müssen, oder es gar zu können, weil man mal irgendwo vom Heckantrieb davon gelesen hat, und legt dann so eine peinliche Nummer hin - sorry, dafür ist mir mein Audi zu schade, um wegen solchen "Möchtegernrennfahrern" einen Unfall auf dem Nürnburgring zu haben, und dann auf den Kosten ggf. sitzen zu bleiben - dafür haben wir auch schöne Landstraßen im Allgäu, und da sind nur "normale" Autofahrer unterwegs, die kann man ganz einfach überholen - also keine Touristen auf dem Nürnburgring, die meinen Fahren zu können :-) Ich glaub als Betreuer der Strecke, würde ich BMW freie Tage für Touristen anbieten, dann können die anderen wenigstens richtig schnell auf der Strecke fahren, ohne die ganzen BMW Spinner :-)

It's really not very intrusive because you've made it largely translucent, where as if it was 100% solid text, that would be VERY annoying!
