I hope you guys got some good ideas on what to pack in your school lunch! I saved a ton of money buying food in a grocery store verus buying food out. I calculated it and i saved $60 all together! My favorite meal in this would have to be the sandwich with the banana and yogurt because its super nutritional. Youre getting protien, veggies, fruit, and vitamins from the banana. For pete's sake people, NOT EVERYTHING IS HEALTHY. We all know that bread has carbs, but that's your energy. Cheese, meat and yogurt is dairy and protein, which helps the energy last longer. Fats help nutrients get into your system. These days, nobody treats themselves. Who doesn't like a cookie once in a while?

Lets be real, who wakes up in the morning and makes some healthy lunch like this? Most people these days grab a granola bar and head out the door. Of course people roll by Mcdonalds for food once in a while. I would say this video is good if you wanna get in better shape, and your starting a diet.
Precisely. Usually, I get my energy for the day in a cup of coffee and a granola bar. Then I go a bajillion hours until dinner.

You could freeze the strawberries for the water so you don't need to add ice and it helps release the nutrients!
That's a really good idea!
I think the ice is meant to help by separating the strawberries so it can look nice also, so they're not just a clump of red at the top.

I guess for younger kids this isn't the worst of lunches to bring to school but if your goal is to stay fit and healthy these recipes aren't very substantial.

Sofia Solis Use hummus instead of mustard! It's healthier because it's not as processed and all natural.
Use greek yogurt instead of chobani yogurt, whole wheat bread, bagels, or wraps as a substitute for the white breads.
Cream cheese is also realllllyyy bad, and it's hard to find a substitute for it, so I'd suggest just lowering the quantity and looking for a low fat one (:
you could use plain Greek yogurt with some salt and pepper, as cream cheese, or maybe Greek yogurt and some ranch dressing.
Why is it that every time I try to find healthy options for school lunch the girl in the video wastes two minutes of my time posing before actually teaching what to eat?!

And I don't microwave for grilled cheese sandwiches, it's more work but honestly, I love it so, the way I do it is I:
1. Take a pan
2. Heat the pan on medium heat
3. Add butter to the pan
4. Spread the butter around the pan
5. Create your sandwich (bread of choice and cheese of choice)
6. Put minimal butter on the sandwich
7. Place the sandwich on the pan butter side down
8. Cook on that side until golden brown (or however you please)
9. Put butter on the side facing up
10. Flip the sandwich around
11. Cook on that side until golden brown (or however you please)
12. Place on plate
13. ENJOY
(It sounds like a really boring process for just grilled cheese but trust me on this it's amazing)
