David might not have known Louise well, but Ian does and Adam does. Those links need to be severed. […] Adam’s departure from my life will need to be somewhat more dramatic. It shouldn’t be too difficult to arrange. Children r notoriously accident prone."
My boyfriend called it when he saw Adele do drugs because from the flashbacks it was Rob that had an heroine addiction, Adele was smoking weed. But it seems like Rob preyed on Louise because of her empathy, just like he preyed on original Adele
I can never be in peace with the fact that David not knowing that the Adele he once fall in love with was not the one he thought died, all their sweet memories being replaced with 10 years miserable marriage with a fucking sociopath 😭
Lub's How would David have known that Rob who supposedly died was really Adele? All he knows was that "Adele" changed drastically. He will wonder why Louise is not the same person he knew. Rob will drive David insane.
Michael Duffy Adele was a sweetheart. Rob changed her when he invaded her. David did not understand the drastic change either, he had no idea he was married to the Demon Rob instead of Adele.
She really was. You kept looking for signs that past Adele's character would evolve into who she is now, but there just weren't any. She wasn't even jealous when Rob and David got along (but Rob was jealous!)
I still don't know how I feel about sci-fi element. I loved it and and yet it still felt strangely unsatisfying. The same way I felt about Louise. The actress made her likeable but at the same time, I felt like she got what she deserved in the end. Making friends with the wife of the guy you're having an affair with is some disturbed low rent ish no matter how you try to justify it. That woman interfered and allowed herself to be manipulated like nobody's business.
Think of it as a metaphor of absolutely regular situations, for example when a single mom meets a married guy or a guy with addictions, she tries to “rescue” him while he is totally fine with his cold wife, or his alcohol or his drugs. He doesn’t move a finger to change his own life, it is bad but he got used to it. And the woman is getting involved in this mess, she believes she can help, she can open his eyes. Gradually she changes as she becomes co-dependent herself. The woman pays less attention to her child and old cheerful mom dies in the eyes of the kid. But “in her eyes” she is a mighty rescuer - ha-ha-ha... I actually love that there is no American happy end in the story. Such ending makes it more realistic than a documentary no matter what fantastic twists happened.
even though the lead was black I could tell the writers weren't cause no black woman with good sense would've kept getting mixed up with them folks lol
This was my dilemma. I could tell that even though actress playing Louise was black, her character wasn't. Five or ten years she would have been played by a white woman. So I had to tell myself to kind of ignore that at no point does she go this white lady is wild or this aint for black people or have a black friend (preferably named Keisha)/family member say girl if you dont. Just enjoy the suspense. Cause baby....
Also since when would a black person astro project into a burning building. We run from fire not go into it no matter what form. Haha damn stupid ending imo.

However, like a wise woman once said: Keep your legs closed to married men. I don’t care how attractive a man is once he’s married he better start looking like the Hunchback of Notre Dame because he’s got a whole wife. Louise messed with her coin messing with that man. Even better, she could've projected from her own apt to see where Adele was! Adele said, you can go wherever you want as long as you've been there before. Louise had been to "Adele's" home several times. She did not have to take her physical body there.

They made me not like Louise. The reasoning for her behavior just didn't work for me. The ending just made me even madder because it was out of no where. If that type of energy had been alluded to throughout the show I may have been more accepting of it.

Yeah I was hoping Rob as Louise was going over there to give Daddy custody
RIGHT and the way he was shoved walking away too by his "mama", po' baby
No hope for Adam I'm afraid. This is what the ending looks like according to the book:
"There is still one small obstacle to overcome for our happiness to be complete. David might not have known Louise well, but Ian does and Adam does. Those links need to be severed. […] Adam’s departure from my life will need to be somewhat more dramatic. It shouldn’t be too difficult to arrange. Children r notoriously accident prone."
@@olaafolabi4971 Aight. I'm ready to drop squad on Rob. Adam is a precious cinnamon roll and I will defend him at all costs!!!
I totally spaced on the fact they were married for 10yrs!!!! So David was never actually married to Adele!?! Tragic
This left me feeling so guilty about my feelings towards Adele throughout. She was a sweetheart.
Yessss...me too
Michael Duffy Adele was a sweetheart. Rob changed her when he invaded her. David did not understand the drastic change either, he had no idea he was married to the Demon Rob instead of Adele.
Adele gave me creepy vibes throughout
She really was. You kept looking for signs that past Adele's character would evolve into who she is now, but there just weren't any. She wasn't even jealous when Rob and David got along (but Rob was jealous!)
Yesssss!!!

@@lashaunx1000 lmfaaoo!! That part
I agree but her son didn’t deserve that and it’s not sci go cause astrial projecting is real
Same. She deserved to suffer a bit, but what happened to her was sad. Now I’m stressed and worried for Adam. What will happen to him
even though the lead was black I could tell the writers weren't cause no black woman with good sense would've kept getting mixed up with them folks lol
I hate token blk characters like this. This is not how we behave!
😂😂😂😂but she was vulnerable single penisless and isolated from any other black folk so in that sense I found it believable A black North American woman NO
@@Mf7d89 I don't think she was a token. It seemed to me they decided to give the role to a black woman. But nothing was changed in the script to make her character aware of her blackness.
Louise had it coming and I mean come onnn she’s a mother and still decided to act like that? Involving herself with someone that looks psycho... and sleeping with her husband? Poor Adam 😭
She really pushes crazy wife to another level haha or rob should I say
Seriously...she didn't really think about poor Adam until it was too late.
So many hints that I missed but thinking about it when they first astro projected Rob's astro color was blue and Adele's was pink and then in the present the astro color of Adele was blue.
😯 you right
wow
I love going back and catching little hints 🥰 even in the final episode, we see Rob create this fabulous meal for Adele & David, and throughout the various episodes, Adele makes delicious, perfect meals for David..meals he never eats of course. That was Rob’s culinary skills.
Never noticed this omg
If minding everyone else’s business was a series🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lmaooooo 😂
I watched this and I really felt for Louise. She was trying to be out there doing single things while her son was with his dad. However, like a wise woman once said: Keep your legs closed to married men. I don’t care how attractive a man is once he’s married he better start looking like the Hunchback of Notre Dame because he’s got a whole wife. Louise messed with her coin messing with that man. The whole situation was messy. I get why she felt like she needed to rescue Adele because guilt was eating at her for befriending her while she was sleeping with her husband but I was yelling at my screen leave that man alone the entire time. The only person I feel for here is Adam, he deserves to have his mum.
Yes. Sleeping w a KNOWN married man is wrong. Sleeping w a married man after befriending his wife is even worse. I am scared for Adam. He and Adele were the innocents in all this.
I like that you classied up Nene's quote. Still is true.
Oh thank you every is like she is evil but nuances guys but she should have kept it classy. I honestly had hope when she said he had to leave the first in the apppart but no it happened anyway. Bruh
I noticed that rob wasn’t jealous of David he was jealous of Adele remember that he likes men.
yes and he asked her what is it like to be so rich and so pretty. He wanted to be her, not to f*ck her.
Although I was threw with Louise's silly behind, I was sure hoping that that pigeon at the end was her save.

Rob only took over body at the very end. Unless you want to make the argument that in giving her his journal to read he was priming her so he could take over. Which I would say is a good argument to make. Perhaps that is what doomed Louise and made it impossible for her to extricate herself from the web of David, Rob, Adele.
@@carolharris2401 yes you're so right about the journal!!!

Everyone keeps saying “if she only minded her own business”. In real life she would have. Ain’t no black woman in this world that would go into a burning building, especially if she has a child. So let’s just pretend that she stayed outside and waited for the police and the Adele dies.
Im sorry im not about to let a man Make me Quit my job. I got bills to pay and a son to think about
Period. Like David should have left. And I would have told Dr. Sharma about the affair. David is a partner so he hopefully would have gotten into more trouble crossing boundaries and such.
Right! Wouldn't gotten involved with him In the first place, but resigning because of him? Oh hell no, he would've had to deal with it.

Exactly. The character made really bizarre decisions.
Mind u, David had a creepy tint to him so I understand why she left. I felt like he had capabilities of killing her and she prolly felt that too.
It all makes sense why all Adele’s flashbacks involved Rob all the time
they were Robs flashbacks the whole time
The ending is what makes it good because honestly the show is kinda slow
Agreed
i agree certain parts were really slow
Louise give her ex man salt 🧂 but got into an entanglement with a married man.Girl Bye
And befriended his wife. That was double shady
And he was cute too!
Perfectly summed up in your video title. Can’t say her best friend didn’t tell her
It’s something mysterious and unsettling about David as well I feel like he knew that was rob or something he seemed almost disgusted to have sex with Adele as if he knew it wasn’t her. And him not being able to say “I love you” he definitely knew that wasn’t Adele
That’s what I was thinking!!
And probably why he was sickened at him acting like he was a perfect wife. Maybe he would be threatened with rob’s death
This was a very sad socking ending. Don't like that Rod did that to both of those women
I feel so violated on Adele's and Louise's behalf...smdh
So upsetting that this guy basically stole their bodies to be with this guy...so problematic that they made him a queer character, basically feeding into the trope and stereotype that homosexual men/members of the queer community are dangerous...so annoying that SHE TOOK A DAMN NAP INSTEAD OF CALLING THE FIRE DEPARTMENT!!! Just finished it this morning
I’m so mad she sacrificed herself like that knowing she has a child to take care of 😒 you better call 999 and wait did the fire department to show up
Just don't understand why Louise projected during the fire. So she checks on Adele. Then What? It's like being a fly on the wall. She couldn't help her in any way. Why not call David or 911 for a wellness check before driving over to Adele home?
Exactly like what's the point
Even better, she could've projected from her own apt to see where Adele was! Adele said, you can go wherever you want as long as you've been there before. Louise had been to "Adele's" home several times. She did not have to take her physical body there.
@@msandrews87 would it make a difference where she was when she projected. The switch would have still happened wouldn't it?
@@ED80s That's true. It just would've taken a little longer for "Adele" to travel to Louise's house I suppose.

We are not worthy of the finger waves.
They made me not like Louise. The reasoning for her behavior just didn't work for me. The ending just made me even madder because it was out of no where. If that type of energy had been alluded to throughout the show I may have been more accepting of it.
What is up w the random pigeon in the kitchen? My dream narrative is she escaped into the pigeon, awaiting for Adele to outer body again! At the end I felt NO WAY for her just for Adam b/c that was ridiculous! What happen to 999, you just had a cell scene before🙄

This reminded me of a movie I saw a long time ago w Kate Hudson called The Skeleton Key. The end of that movie also had me shaken to my core. Imo SK is better because it puts the voodoo right out there from the beginning (it’s a thriller horror kinda movie). Whereas this came kinda outa nowhere.
