Dave Winfield had a 22-year MLB career. He is a 12x All-Star. A 7x Gold Glove winner; and a World Series champion. He was drafted to play Major League baseball. He was drafted by both the NBA and the ABA to play pro basketball. He was also drafted, by the Minnesota Vikings to play football, even though he never played football in college. Dave Winfield was the best pure athlete I've seen in recent memory.
That man had some seriously athletic prowess. I love the comments from people who have never competed or succeeded at the highest level of sports putting down someone who has
Bo used to lift at my gym in KC in the early 90s. He'd ride a big Harley to the gym, and then bench press 405 for reps. Every man, woman, and child watched him the entire time he was there.
he probably means he doesn't lift religiously...probably once in a while he'll just go to test his strength...lot of body weight exercises such as dips can get you really strong...
@@blakealtonen9858 i have witness it with my own eyes ; my neighbor back in the 80's was naturally built ; cut up muscle and like Bo he didn't touch weights!! it's genetics you just haven't witnessed it in person!
@@RodKI-un7xi That is so true, I had a buddy in HS that was ripped and never lifted. My son wrestled with a kid was the same way, he would step on the mat and his opponents would go into panic mode. It was funny to see the look on their parents faces, thinking my baby is about to be killed.
Arguably the greatest athlete of the 20th Century. I grew up a Tide and Denver Broncos fan and he tormented my existence during that time. There was no one who could match him. He was a man amongst boys.

He has always said he never lifted weights. He was just naturally gifted. A lot of these guys are. Herschel Walker never lifted weights either. Just push ups and sit ups.
I don't know if I believe him. If I had to bet money on it, I'd say he lifted weights like any other football player and used low to moderate amounts of gear on top of it.
Bo knows dirtbikes? He was my idol as a kid growing up near KC, still the best pure athlete I've ever seen. Would love to see him on his KTM out on the trail someday.
One of the best (natural) pro athletes in sports history. And his shoes by Nike were probably my fav Nikes I have ever owned after my Jordan's and Griffeys
This was the BADDEST MF in the 90's. Kids just don't know. You'll never ever see another athlete be a Pro Bowl/MLB All Star in the same season ever again. (Jackson/Sanders)
Bo is one of the biggest athletic influences on me as a kid. Likeable guy as well. But yeah, the Bo know to do this segment seems out of place. Only shows outside of fridge and doesn't open it. He basically says he eats for pleasure. Doesn't work out regularly now or prioritizes it. He bikes, but he didn't say how often. Didn't seem to have a home gym, but mostly some equipment randomly placed around a fun room. We only saw a dumbbell rack he doesn't use and some equipment in the background. Far as the eye test he looks a little juicy. All this is ok, but hopefully you know what type of athlete he was, otherwise why would men's health choose this person for this segment?
I've known some incredibly strong individuals and great athletes in my life. Even the most gifted of the guys were somewhat of a combination of Clinical Body types. That said, Bo and Jim Brown are probably the only pure Mesomorphs I can legitimately think of. If you know who Flex Wheeler is, I'd include him also.
Bo is the best pure athlete I’ve ever seen.
the Natural

Top 10 greatest athlete in the last 100 hundred years.
Bo was such a beast RB. If not for his injury he may have been in the debate for goat status. Such an explosive athlete
Bo was my favorite running back in the 80s
If he was not injured...he would have been as popular as Jordan. Be like Bo😊
Before his injury, he was bigger than MJ.

Gen z has no idea who this man is . Or that he would DESTROY any of your favorite football players offense or defense and then outrun them by 20 yards
Saw an interview with Howie Long and they mentioned Bo's had hiccups for over a year
You can see as he's talking, he's fighting those hiccups.

Bo Jackson would have been a phenomenal body builder. He probably would have won multiple Mr. Olympia titles.
