Im a giyuushino shipper and im sorry about the shippers! Most of them say its canon when its not. Most sanegiyuu shippers admit that their ship is also not canon so fellow giyuushino shippers should do the same. Also i hate when people change their skin tones and say its a head canon? Like no thats not ok to change Japanese culture and make their skin tone different

I'm a Giyushino shippers and I'm so sorry that some of us being toxic or mean to other people.. I respect all the ships in this fandom. Well not all of them like Tanjiro and Giyyu and more of minor x adult things.. I hope this fandom get better soon. I don't get it why people want to force the others to like what they like.. I'm here with you on the ships part. I ship sanegiyuu and all other CANON ships. I won't double down on someone for liking a ship, but it has to be reasonable. Ex: I like sanegiyu because it represents an enemies to friends theme. (Also sanemi doesn't hate giyuu. He thinks that giyuu puts himself higher than them and dislikes him for that.) But full respect, it has to have a reason that makes sense. Genmui is a unique ship and I get why people ship them, but they've literally never met until the battle with kokushibo.
Sum it up : ships have to be reasonable. Ships like Giyutan, Tenzen, and other ships including a minor with an adult is NOT okay.
I prefer platonic sanegiyuu but you do you i ship giyushino mainly because of their chemistry together and them being mostly on missions together

As a Giyushino shipper, I'm genuinely horrified by what the fandom thinks of us, I understand that no one means that all of us are bad, but we get such a bad name, I know it's not cannon and I respect other ships like Sanegiyu or Shinomitsu, ect (except Giyutan, I HATE Giyutan, reasonably so)

I’m not sure if I ship giyushino or not anymore but I absolutely hate it when the toxic giyushino shippers try to make excuses for their ship to be canon. Like- you realize you can ship something without having it be canon right?? I would also like to add that sanekana is considered a proship but so many people don’t understand bc “it’s canon” LIKE GURL NO ITS NOT. and plus kanae is a minor and sanemi is an adult, if you want to ship them, you can do so in the kimetsu gakuen au or in the past or an au where kanae is alive, other than that it’s illegal and a proship and you can’t change that. You can make sanemi miss kanae but you can’t still expect him to have feelings for her when she’s been DEAD FOR FOUR YEARS and is a minor 💀

1. Demon slayer is actually with tanjiro 30th/31st December 1912 chapter 1 with final battle 1st January 1916 and chapter 204 April 1916 given away by cherry blossom trees in full bloom which happens in April. Also because hand demon said 47 in the final selection from the ego period which ended 3rd January 1868 and keio era which ended 23rd October 1868. And giyuu's gaiden manga (canon) already said in the tashio period. That's how worked out.

And that part of the issue with characters based in Japan. Especially in the past when laws were different around back then to compared to now.
And something else a little backstory tengen was supposed suma’s little sister who was 4 when he was 15 and tengen is 23 and suma’s sistet is 12....

Personally, not trying to get personal with anybody else, I don’t really like ships. Besides the few canon ones such as “Tanjiro and Kanao”, “Mitsuri and Iguro” and tbh, “Zenistu and Nezuko” kinda give me the ick even though it’s canon. Like, Nezuko isn’t in a good state of mind due to being a literally demon, plus shes both mentally and physically younger in a lot of scenes. I understand that she’s not actually younger, but then again Zenitsu’s whole attitude towards her and other girls is creepy (this is coming from someone whose favorite character used to be Zenistu). I don’t understand most fanon ships, in particular, ones where the pairing involves someone who is in love/ in a relationship in the canon story. So sorry to all of you but, why? I don’t like Sanegiyuu, Giyuushino or other ships along those lines, but personally idc if you ship them. I personally hate the shipping culture in this fandom, but I have to agree with you on most of it. However, to add on even more, it can become confusing to new fans having to keep up with all of these pairings. Some of these fanon shippers probably have no clue if it’s canon or not tbh. Also I’ve been getting soooo tired of the Giyuu situation as well. And you explained it perfectly, I have nothing to add onto. Also as someone who likes both Sanemi and Iguro, please please please can people stop making them bully giyuu 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏? When it was only season 1, I really like the ship Giyuutan……I saw on someones post that the age restriction thing in Japan was 13, so I thought it was legal to ship them, but as I got older, I WAS DISGUSTED WITH MYSELF. In my experience there is literally a minority of Sanegiyu fans who say that, and if they say it it's just a joke, Giyushino fans have their hopes so high that they even convince themselves that it's canon, and they say it without joking, and I have verified it, because if you say that the ship is not canon, they get angry and debate you. 2. That they hate Shinobu? No, they even call her Giyu's best friend, I don't know where you get that from, and it's obvious that you like Giyushino, but fine, it's your opinion.

It really is refreshing when people state stuff that feels so overly weird or ‘fanon’ like I have no problem with fanon, I love it, but so many people mischaracterize their personalities to the point you’re like “he’d or she’d NEVER say any of those things.” I’ve always found it odd in my opinion, I honestly am not sure WHERE the ‘simp’ or ‘p3do’ part of fanon Uzui but ppl need to stop, like seriously, it’s really discomforting and disgusting for the most part, Tengen isn’t the type of person to simp over everyone he bats an eye towards, I get it’s fanon, but could we at least have a good or better idea of their personalities and what they’d truly be like sometimes? The mischaracterization of so many characters is kinda unbelievable, and people wonder why the canon people absolutely hate fanon, I agree that they can get annoying especially when you’re having fun, but you gotta admit they can be right sometimes, OH AND PLUS people STILL do that rendonut “meme” and it’s not really funny anymore, well me personally I never found it funny, maybe bc I’m biased and I love Rengoku so much but ig that’s just me. Like how people made Shinobu actually caused me to hate a for a while because of badly people characterized her, but now I like her a lot, and she’s a really nice character even if she’s not one of my favorites. And also how you mentioned Iguro being a simp for Mitsuri is another thing I don’t like either, bc it just doesn’t feel like he”d be THAT obsessed with her, especially with his past and everything, and idk if it’s true, but he does hate women too, which is probably something that sticks with him, so for him to suddenly leave all the behind because of Mitsuri no matter how much he may like her is odd.
I really do love not going by canon sometimes, but can we please be somewhat logical about their personalities and stuff? Sanemi would straight up NOT say anything about how Giyuu’d suffering wouldn’t matter or any of that stuff along with Iguro, I get that he is an aggressive character but he isn’t that heartless.

Shipping is supposed to be a fun thing that people can do even if the ships may or may not be canon, but don’t just straight up hate on people for it??? Like where’s that same energy for literal in3est, or other things? Because majority of times it’s no where to be found. Plus, if people actually listened and got informed to why people ship certain things, there wouldn’t be as much hate on perfectly fine or legal ships like SaneGiyuu or whatever.

Giyuu isn’t some crybaby who can’t stick up for himself or speak for HIMSELF. HE CAN. He very much can, he just has internalized anger which lead him to being depressed. Which made more quiet on the surface, which is why he is less talkative, but he can speak up for himself if he feels the need too. He has trauma we know, it’s normal for others to grieve and cry, and mourn, but the extreme yall go makes it unbearable and cringey to watch. I love Giyuu a lot, he’s also one of my favorite characters, on top of the list, so it genuinely cringes me out whenever people make him like this, please! Stop making him like this. He’s a damn adult for god sakes, not some infant you need to keep a 24/hour watch hour on.
I get that Mitsuri can be cheerful and kind or easily flustered or what not, but please, she’s not going to be blushing at EVERY SINGLE THING… I’m not sure how to put her situation into words bc I really can’t explain it.

Douma HAS NO EMOTIONS, stop shipping him with anyone ESPECIALLY Inosuke’s mom, the only reason he kept her around was because he liked the sound of her singing voice, (and I think would’ve just kept her around until she died of old age but that obviously didn’t work out.) He saw her as a decoration and OBJECT he can just keep around, do you really think someone who sees a person like that actually loves them? No.
Oh and BTW Giyuu actually enjoys Shinbou’s company, so stop acting like he absolutely hates the sight of her being there with him. (Probably when she’s not pestering him tho.) it’s not confirmed if he doesn’t mind her teasing, only just talking with her, but teasing or not don’t take them not discrimination or smth like that.

You know, I ship GiyuuShino, but whenever I see something like a SaneGiyuu or a RenGiyuu ship in the video, I shrug it off. It's for the video, and it's pure entertainment.
However, I don't condone other people fighting over measly minor and little things. Yes, the MINOR X ADULT ships are SO concerning, it should be banned. There are certain reaction videos I saw that had an... Over-the-top reaction, saying modern slang and having a ton of UNCANON reactions. Those piss me off.

for the clothing, i think it's fine to do something modern day only if it's just for like a video, or you are just messing around with designs and you want to show them to people, but if you are talking about back in the tashio era, i absolutely agree with the fact that you should not do modern day clothing, and for the western part, yea i agree too
for shipping, yes. i DESPISE pro shippers, but only for the pro shipping part, nothing else cause i won't know about them (and i dont despise anyone for 1 single reason) and for giyushino, nothing is wrong with the ship, it is a nice ship and i feel like it had potential to become canon, just a few changes in the story and it could've been canon, but it's not. and also, i do see people talking about the age gap, it's just a regular 3-year gap, nothing else, they are also both adults too so it's fine
for demons, i think the upper moons are allowed to see each other, but only if muzan allows it, probably the reason being is if they are goofing off too much, they might not be able to focus on their main goal, finding the blue spider lily. and ik i shouldn't bring facts that im not aware of into my opinions if im typing it out, but i think they would have a limited amount of time to spend with each other, so for like 1 or 2 hours and thats it, (or for the whole night if they are lucky), but for the lower moons and the demons who are not ranked, they are not allowed to be together unless if they are put on a mission together
for gary and karl, yea, gary and karl is funny in my opinion, but still, demons and demon slayers will NEVER partner up in the real universe, so as long as you have an au for these 2 or any other demon and demon slayer pair, its fine

there is nothing wrong with giyushino, in fact, its a good ship and dont get me wrong but it has a 50/50 chance of becoming canon if shinobu didnt plan her own death, but its just the shipper fanbase that is toxic. so there is no problem with the ship itself!

People say goyushino is canon because of an early scene in pretty sure where shinobu said something that means “I love you” and Giyuu said “agreed”
I find the ship cute, but also in no way shape or form consider it canon.
My opinion on ships. All the canon ones i like nothing really else to say. My thoughts on Kanae X Sanemi correct me if I am wrong but It was confirmed that Sanemi Like Kanae but it was never comfirmed that Kanae likes Sanemi so that ship I would not see as canon so personally I would not ship those two. I would probably make sanemi have feelings but not like Kanae have feelings. Now time for the one I wanted to talk about Shinobu X Giyu. I personaly believe that they were friends and nothing more. Because in the Giyu Gaiden it shows shinobu and Giyu on a mission and in the end of part 2 it was said that shinobu was a newly Hashira at that time and she says "Tomioka... I've never seen you smile before" and in the fanbook gyomei said that they both like talking to each other not that they like each other like he did with sanemi mitsuri and obanai. So this shows that they have know each other for a hot minute and they have a friendship nothing more. and lets just say they do like each other I personally believe it was just never meant to be with tomioka isolating himself and Kocho so keen on geting revenge that she would sacrifice herself to kill that demon. and we have the reincarnations which I just don't feel like getting into that much but Mitsuri and obanai get together and Tomioka and Kocho dont so ya. Giyu and shinobu have a friendship and nothing more. Finally the Kid X Adult is just not ok thats it thanks for reading sorry for it being so long.

why would people even thought of sanemi with giyu 1st? i must say this fandom is not worse the the mha fandom(when they are both at worst the mha fandon is still horrible) but i can defo feel like its almost like that while mha fandom is actually quite tamed now the kny fandoms are going wild from skits, to ships,and vids.
