Those four handlebar bolts are actually not fully tightened. I've had the exact same problem, wrongly believing that those bolts were all the way snugged, then I put a wrench to them, finding that each would turn in about another 1/2 turn each. Take each out and put blue Loctite on each, letting the Loctite dry after turning in the bolts before riding it again. The wiggling stem can be corrected with some adjustment at the bottom via another bolt. With that said, I am currently trying to repair mine myself because the steering is completely locked up, unable to turn at all, even though the handlebar is in the proper fully upright position. This is the second Unagi I've had with this problem, as I had to send in my original early last year for that, getting the refurb unit that now has the exact same problem. By the time that I had the refurb unit get locked up that way, my warranty had run out. What a load of crap!

Whoa, got to figure that this scooter is a bad choice. Thanks for giving out this info. I get it. When you recommend stuff you want it to be right. Keep it up sir, your vids are a great help.
Just wondering if you ever got the return/cancellation figured out. I was kind of dumb and saw some good reviews of this, and really jumped on a rental because I've never owned a scooter and wanted to see how doable it would be for commuting to work, and this seemed like the least expensive way to try it out for a little bit. I just ordered a refurbed one on a monthly rental on Saturday, so haven't been given any info on it. I figured that at some point sooner or later I'd either buy a scooter or I'd decide it wasn't for me, but felt like getting on one regularly for a month or so would be the best way to learn about them and figure out what to look for when deciding what kind to buy when I was ready. But now I'm getting scared that it's going to be hell to cancel this monthly subscription when I want to. :(
@@sincloth7022 wait, how many months after attempting to cancel your subscription is this? So basically once you subscribe its impossible to unsubscribe? Isnt that illegal? I can't believe they can get away with that.

I've though about adding a couple e-bikes to the collection eventually, but for now, the scooters just make more sense (not this one, obviously). The scooters are more portable and useable in a place like Vegas. I take them in with me almost everywhere (businesses, grocery stores, casinos, etc.). But yes, I plan to have e-bikes sooner or later.
It’s def a poorly made scooter I think mainly due to mass production but also you can’t expect much from a used scooter bro Amazon gets you a great deal and the customer service is great too I have a greevego and a gotrax both under $400 both can do 18+ easy
I have a GreeVego DYO2 (the 10” tire variant with higher max output) and Im disappointed in the range, but other than that I really like the scooter. I flex tape waterproofed it and have ridden it through torrential downpours, puddles, taking my son to school, grocery shopping, and recreational riding and it works great. My other scooter is a hiBoy Max Pro that I just got and so far like it, it reminds me of my old 1989 Lincoln Towncar in that its a beast with some get up, and rides like a boat, its great so far.
You've got to question the scooter with a name like that "UNAGI ?" It's probably made in a back alley in Vietnam.. put some masking tape that'll fix it up. stay safe "bro"..👍
Better to just avoid Unagi scooters altogether. The company sucks. It's a bad deal either way. I'm just glad I get to be a part of the class-action that eventually puts Unagi out of business.
You said everything I didn’t have the time to make a video for , I got the brand new all access , and after 3 weeks the folding mechanism would get loose and I’d have to take it apart and re do it , it really is a piece of shit , I had it locked up and it got stolen , i also had insurance on it , sent police report , I still get texts and emails saying I breached my contract , suck big balls unagi.
I'm STILL trying to return mine. I get threatening emails from Unagi twice a week even though I've tried 30+ times to contact them about returning it. I guess I'm going to have to file a lawsuit against Unagi. I hear there's a class action suit forming against Unagi, so maybe I'll just wait and join that. Either way, I guarantee the Unagi Scooter company is going out of business.
It happens a lot. Fortunately, a huge class action lawsuit is forming against Unagi, and Unagi will hopefully go out of business after we all get our money back.
A new one becomes used as soon as you ride it. So are you suggesting I'd have to buy a new one every time I want to go and ride? Unagi sucks! Just don't get one at all!
@@sincloth7022I feel like common sense went out the window with the emotions you felt over getting a well used scooter. In the Uk you can buy these brand new for $200
Wow,lol. I've never seen a review like this. This is like an ANTI-review. I've seen all kinds of scooter reviews, but this is a FIRST.
Why get a refurbished one lol shouldve just got a new one.
Better to just avoid Unagi scooters altogether. The company sucks. It's a bad deal either way. I'm just glad I get to be a part of the class-action that eventually puts Unagi out of business.
@@sincloth7022 I agree this definitely helped me make my decision 😭
Thanks a lot . I was just about to give these snakes my money. Over the hiboy s2 max
This company horrible
I got scammed....
It happens a lot. Fortunately, a huge class action lawsuit is forming against Unagi, and Unagi will hopefully go out of business after we all get our money back.
I was planning on buying one but after seeing this video hell fucking no!
Sealant them bars on!!
Get it replaced and stop complaining
Just tight the screws and there you go
Don't make lazy arguments.
@@durece100 what’s lazy there ? Redneck did your girlfriend refuse to blow you last night ? Find something better to say than start shit online fool
You are dreaming . Get a life fool
Thanks man, you just saved me from a bad deal. Was this 🤏 close to signing up to the subscription.
Don't get a used one, dude.
A new one becomes used as soon as you ride it. So are you suggesting I'd have to buy a new one every time I want to go and ride? Unagi sucks! Just don't get one at all!
@@sincloth7022I feel like common sense went out the window with the emotions you felt over getting a well used scooter. You knew what you were getting and there's no telling how many miles or usage was put on by the previous rider . Did unagi refurbish it ? Who knows . But why take a chance with a well used scooter when a brand new one would of solved a lot of the issues your video is about ! Just my opinion .
I just watched a guy unbox a new then a refurbished and compare them dude they are the same.
