iOS 17 was buggy til 17.6.1
It takes Apple over 6 months to make an acceptable OS experience.. the first 5 months are usually the nightmare period

I am on ios 18 and I haven’t faced any issue like battery drain or health drop or any bugs and glitches. It is released after 8 beta version so this is pretty stable version.

So glad I listened to you. After downloading iOS 17.7, Bluetooth issues on my iPhone 12 Pro Max was corrected without taking it for repairs.
On 17.7 much better battery life than 17.6.1 - iphone 13

I updated to iOS 17.7, backed up my iPhone, and then updated to iOS 18.0. THEN, I found this video. 🙄 Oh well, so far, no problems. 😊

I already asked from apple support they said IOS 18.0 is still beta version. They suggest me go with 17.7 and wait for final version. This statement from the apple support.

That’s honestly not true if they wanted to slow your phone down they do not need you to download anything. The iOS software has nothing to do with the actual model.

😂😂 Well Done!! Lets not be so cynical about bugs ! Its software not Covid ..technology will always evolve so no point waiting. Its like planning to Upgrading new iphone model but then stopping because a better model will come next year😊.

A bit of common sense goes a long way.
Yesterday is September 16, 2024 new update out, so if you plan to wait 1-2 weeks before updating, the ideal dates would be:
- 1 week later: September 23, 2024
- 2 weeks later: September 30, 2024
By September 30, 2024, any major bugs or issues should be reported, and potentially a patch (like iOS 18.0.1) could be released, making it a safer time to update.
