Great Blasket Island

We booked a tour to the Great Blaskin Island to see puffins, but got so much more!
Billy the captain and Chris the skipper showed us a lot of cool and interesting places on the way to the island. They told us about the history of the islands and showed us many species along the way. For quite a while a pod of bottle-nosed dolphins tagged along. A colony of Atlantic Grey Seals awaited us at the beach. Guillemots, razor bills and puffins where hunting for fish in the depths of the ocean.

- Deutsch - Gebucht haben wir die Tour zur Great Blasket Island um Papageitaucher zu sehen und bekommen haben wir so viel mehr!
Billy der Kapitän und Chris der Skipper haben uns an viele interessante Stellen geführt und uns über die Geschichte der Inseln beigebracht. Wir durften Delfine (Große Tümmler) und eine Kegelrobbenkolonie bestaunen und haben neben dem Papageitauchern auch Trottellummen und Tordalke gesehen, wie sie todesmutig ins Wasser stürzten, um Fische zu fangen.
