The calm and collected ones are the ones that should actually intimidate you.
I had this in a bar a few years ago. Dude got heavy like this kept saying, “Lets take it outside then, we’ll fuckin take it outside”. I put my beer down and said “Yep ok then, let’s go” as we’re walking I could tell he was thinking fuck this dude is for real. He ended up saying fuck it, who cares, and then just walked off. Trying to project their own fear into whoever they’re fighting in order to psyche them out but once they actually find themselves in a fight they don’t know what to do. The calm and collected ones are the ones that should actually intimidate you.
I had this in a bar a few years ago. Dude got heavy like this kept saying, “Lets take it outside then, we’ll fuckin take it outside”. I put my beer down and said “Yep ok then, let’s go” as we’re walking I could tell he was thinking fuck this dude is for real. He ended up saying fuck it, who cares, and then just walked off. That moment really proved what you’re saying. Most dudes just try and increase the energy and aggression level as part of overcoming their actual inner fear. As soon as somebody rises to their challenge they completely fold.
Yeah good lucky with that outlook, I know a few people who will scream at the top of their lungs during a confrontation and they can back it up, buddy of mine thought he killed someone after he was done screaming and the fight kicked off he threw a solid swing and laid the other guy out cold for a few minutes at which point the fight was over, being loud in NO way means you can't fight 🤦🏻
