Other uses I could see is possibly against Nami mill counter events, blast breath for pluffy as well.
From what I've seen, it seems like stores have gotten only 1 Promo pack that contains the 8-promo cards, and the winner card in the kit. So if that is the case the easiest way is for winner to take everything I think, that way in March the participating players can get their packs.
in my build i’ve put x4 copies of i wanna be king of the pirates because for 5 don you can play it + i am invincible for potentially a 15k double swing

I've been loving Uta in my testing on the sim, so hyped for a green deck again! The events are going to be trash this time around, I think they got one of each card and a winner card in the kits if they got them (according to our LGS). They are planning on rerunning the event in march with the proper prizes. Whether or not they run the barebones one this weekend varies by shop but it seems like most plan to double dip and run it twice.
It’s not a rerun, they (my LGS) are giving participants the rest of the cards in March or atleast they should be. Any store that doesn’t do this should not be supported.
@TacticalDimples You are lucky to have a shop like that, I doubt any of the ones here do it, maybe 1 of the 5. They will take the chance to double dip for more money.
I am fine with the reprints that come with this deck. Bandai is not the best when it comes to reprinting old sets so new players getting stuff to start a deck from the older cards is a good move. Yes I would have liked new art to go with the old cards, but I'm happy we get reprints at all. And the new events all see good for a FILM deck. More so if you use the Uta main.
I really like your videos and the decks you bring, in fact I always take them as inspiration to then build my own decks. How do you plan to remove Kid and Carrot to go 4x Doflamingo and insert the Sanji that comes out in EB01? Since it is FILM, Counter +2000 is above all very strong even in attack

Kinda funny to me that because of the promo cards we actually do get 1 important card in set 5 when asia did not get it until set 6 (talking about where the wind blows)

How should I replace both Kid (x3) and Nami (x4)? They're both out of my budget sadly :( I'm replacing them currently with 3 of Baby 5 (the 2K Counter) and 3 of "Side of Justice" event
Oof sadly Nami is almost unreplaceable. Kid is optional but it helps in a lot of matchups. I'd replace kid with doffys if you have them and then maybe work on getting nami. That cards too important for searching and pressure
