Hi Sis, I hope you're doing well. Today, we are organizing my shoes rack, and I am letting go of some shoes and sharing some styling options for y'all. This is Part 1, so come back for Part 2 soon :)

I am honestly glad you're speaking on the break down of the shoes... I now know I am not the only one who has experienced the unfortunate and inconvenient breakdown of shoes while wearing them and from my experience, that even included shoes that were fresh out the box or shoes I hadn't even worn. I guess it's just based on how it's stored and how long, but it has happened enough times to the point where I started carrying a back up pair of shoes when I go out including work "just in case" so that I feel secure and ready. I also began doing more frequent purges and got rid of a lot of pairs that had signs of dry rot, whether I've worn the shoes before or not. I then started to be focused on getting more wear out of my shoe collection to make use of them but I check it and make sure they're sturdy and I walk around in them in my house before stepping out in them. It's as though I'm "auditioning" the shoes, lol. Yes... I have hundreds of pairs of shoes. Shoes are my first love but when this very issue I'm talking about started, I suddenly began placing even more attention on clothes. At least for clothes, I don't need to concern myself with spontaneous issues like the soles coming off my shoes as I'm walking 😮.

Thank you Sis for confirming my worst fear about shoes!!! A few years back, I went to work and the whole sole of one of my espadrilles came off, I felt very off and when I realized it, I did not do much walking around that day 😱 So embarrassing....and I have had to throw away perfectly new shoes too. So like you, I am more into clothes now, the shoe section used to be the 1st thing I would check out at stores, now it's not, learned my lesson lol
I had to take a pair of boots to the cobbler to replace the heel once. Thank you as always for watching and Part 2 coming in a few days. ❤️

Hi Sandra, I have been there...keeping things because they are cute, I still do that with some clothes... especially when they get small, hoping to fit in them when I lose some weight 😅 But I am definitely running out of space for my shoes with my new purchases for the last 3 years, so it's an incentive to get my shoes in order. Thank you for watching Sis and have a restful weekend 💕
