My wife was a high school teacher for decades. She had one student offer to cut off her t!ts, and feed them to her. She hit the panic button, and the kid was hauled off. What happened? NOTHING...as the kid was an All-State football player. I still get angry thinking about this.
And people wonder why there is a teacher shortage!!! The other day, I witnessed a kindergartener maliciously and intentionally attack another teacher and continuously bashed a door into her ankles. I am not allowed to make contact with students so I couldn't even get him out of the way to escort the other students to safety. They punished him by writing a note home to mom and dad, where he most likely learned this from or they don't care enough to punish it at home, and sent him back to class. The school administrators don't give a shit about what happens to us.

Ex-teacher here. Yes, principals, in my experience, often have a public image they’re trying portray, and they actively repress information that might make it look like they’re not in control. Seen it first hand numbers times in situations much like the one shown above….
Police SHOULD have been called, She was rightfully arrested. She’s a public employee. She has the duty to report criminal incidents to the appropriate authorities. She didn't. The incident was under investigation already, she had reports that she didn't hand over.

She might have not wanted the teacher to be imprisoned and have their life ruined. Some people were raised with a belief that physical "discipline" is okay. They were never modeled appropriate ways of handling anger. So in the school setting where you have to use your words, the teacher probably lost control. Putting her in prison is not the answer. We have a very primitive society even in this "developed" country.
I grew up in that county. I was sent to Haywood County High School instead of Fayette County High School. Went to private school in elementary and middle school. Fayette County schools were notoriously bad for violence. Look up the stats.
maybe , maybe not and why it needs independent investigation. seeing how barely a week goes by i dont see a pedophile teacher arrested in the news, who can say right now
I worked as a paraprofessional once for one school year twenty five years ago. The administration was reluctant to put their foot down against poor student behavior. I honestly believe a lot of the problems in schools could be sorted out but administrators are politicians that don't take a firm stance against nonsense.
No, he/she should be held accountable age-appropriate. BUT, that doesn't mean you cover it up and do nothing! Maybe the parents should be held accountable? Bet their behavior would change pretty quickly!
Believe it or not, this type of assault happens all the time in elementary levels as it happened to me as an educator. A student and I were assaulted by another student, big 5th grader, and I had to restrain the boy, I fell over a table onto the floor, until I got help (I'm in my 60s). All the principal did was call his mother and send him home on a Friday and the principal said, "we're sending him for a 3-day weekend to THINK ABOUT what he had done." To think about it. In hindsight, I should have called 911 and had the kid arrested and gone to the school board meeting to tell them what had happened. Zero consequences, no suspension, nothing. Way to go school district PHD principal. Thank goodness this principal has moved on and I don't have to deal with him anymore.
Well, I'll tell you. A black kid assaulted a teacher, the teacher may have been of any race. The school tried to cover it up so that they could keep the numbers skewed, and continue receiving all those grants and positions
When I went to elementary school, they still used the paddle. They didn't call the cops, you got whipped. That kid would have gotten hit 5 times with the paddle and never did that again.
School administrator thinks she's above the law. Great example for the students in an orange jumpsuit. She's probably like other schools, trying to keep a lid on a school rife with bulling and violence.
Lmfao. I love the little detail about how the teacher potentially assaulted the student first Like what happened is a grown ass adult and a child in elementary school went toe to toe and the kid came out on top... and the principal was just like "go home" Yeah, okay
The Principal looks good in orange. Since she thinks she decides how the law & rules work, prison is a great place for her. She can teach a whole new group of students too. See, Win-Win.
her school is probably full of little criminals who are out of control and she doesn't want anyone to know about it, she is pretending it isn't happening instead of sorting the problem out as it is easier,
She keeps their dirty laundry stacked under the clean laundry. Of course they value that principle. I know how schools work, I was a custodian and learned a lot, saw a lot, and heard a lot. Principles are given total autonomy on their campuses. Their word is law.
My father always said that if you want to know how any organization operates then you ask one of the real people about it, meaning the custodial staff, cooks, etc. That statement is 100% correct and has been and always will be the gold standard in finding the real story.
This is ridiculous. Criminalizing a school principal for handling an unfortunate situation in-house and outside the criminal “justice” system. That’s what we want. Ridiculous. Not to mention a complete double standard.
You ever been in this situation? Assault is assault, period! Your liberal attitude toward holding kids accountable or unaccountable in your perspective, is why we are in the situation we find ourselves in today! It doesn't solve the problem, only perpetuate the problem.

Retired school resource officer here. Worked with several school administrators that did not tell me things they were required by law to tell me. Didn't want arrests made as it would make the school look bad and make the administators look bad. They had the attitude that they reigned supreme at their school and did - or didn't do - anything they wanted to.
They should not be allowed to simply hide the facts of a crime in their school. It should be removed from their position immediately and charged criminally.
Police should be the last people talking about withholding evidence. They do it everyday and are not held accountable, and now they're quick to arrest a civilian.
Principals try to keep a Lid on negative incidents that happen at their schools, they don’t want to be seen as being unable to take care of their school….
I once saw a man nearly bludgeoned with a thermos. It was only because I alerted him to the impending, or looming, threat as it approached from behind him. You see it was an argument that escalated into a physical confrontation. Thermos attacks are a danger that should not be taken lightly.
This one reason why there should be video cameras in class rooms, hallways, every area except for the inside of the bathrooms, from multiple angles, and the video goes directly into a harddrive that can not be tampered with by anyone. That way it PROTECTS the students,Teachers and other staff members, from stuff like this, That way if someone is hurt or a claim is made the school & police officers are not Rellying on just Witness statements, and the he said she said of the 2 people who are involved.
The moral here is do not send your children to school with these animals whether they be the animals that they're going to school with or the animals who are supervising them. The public school system is trash and everybody should be homeschooling at this point
Awww sad because a job should never lead to this no job is worth your life being endangered or taken away to jail . Especially when you just made a mistake or a late judgement and when your investing your heart into teaching someone else’s kids sad for both employees very sad

So much for standing up for her teachers! She would rather protect the thugs than their victims.
The teacher was the aggressor. Attacked a student and got floored for it.
She must have protected this child as he must have been from a protected class.
The assaulted teacher is white and the violent student is black. I saw the video
Exactly.
100%
Umm hmm...
Sounds about yt
What arrogance that principal has.
Woke up this morning realizing how much I need God in my life in these days. This craziness here that’s happening in a school of teaching and learning, should not even exist, students assaulting other students or teachers for that matter, it’s amazing how blind society is. America along with the rest of the world is completely lost. God have mercy upon us all.
Yes and Amen! The entire universe needs God almighty. Bring prayers back into the school system instead of all the confusion. God is not the author of confusion. ~Salom
She feels it's sovereign territory and she's the queen of the land.
I was thinking the same thing. She thought it was her dominion. She decides the rules of the day.

I do not know why this came to mind. "not all cover-ups are a crime!" Or are they?
This.
How come this happens to a principal but not to cops in use of force investigations?
PhD is so watered down it no longer means anything.
You couldn't get one racist fuck
If shes willing to cover up an assult on a teacher, than what else has she being covering up? How many children entrusted into her care have been assulted?
Ex-teacher here. Yes, principals, in my experience, often have a public image they’re trying portray, and they actively repress information that might make it look like they’re not in control. Seen it first hand numbers times in situations much like the one shown above….
"Seen it first hand numbers times?" And you were a teacher? Yikes.
This sounds more like staff sticking together in my opinion. Or she is trying to save face for both parties involved
What have we learned? "Passion" doesn't = competence.
Also, "Passion" doesn't = honesty.
Society is breaking down from many directions.
Police SHOULD have been called, She was rightfully arrested. She’s a public employee. She has the duty to report criminal incidents to the appropriate authorities. She didn't. The incident was under investigation already, she had reports that she didn't hand over.
Follow all of the rules and the perpetrator will still not be punished.
100% it had happened before but no one had the balls to come forward and say something because of reprisal. There will be a THOROUGH investigation into past incidents.
Accountability is like a foreign language to these people

Well after watching it daily across the country , who knew you couldn't just delay any laws.
There needs to be an investigation into the Richmond County school where a teacher was injured 17 times along with daily injuries to several students.
I guarantee that the school bord will find a way to sweep it under the rug in order to protect those in their circle of friends.
bord ==> board

Talk about unprincipled principals.
It is way to late for that everyone knows now. What will happen is that they will do what all higher ups do when the shyt hits the fan, cover their asses.
Exactly
How could a person be well intentioned if they hide information or cover up information??
She might have not wanted the teacher to be imprisoned and have their life ruined. Some people were raised with a belief that physical "discipline" is okay. They were never modeled appropriate ways of handling anger. So in the school setting where you have to use your words, the teacher probably lost control. Putting her in prison is not the answer. We have a very primitive society even in this "developed" country.
They're NEVER held accountable & THEY are used to it!
Very poor administratior who thinks she god in her school. Pathetic...
Thank God in that county they don't leave law enforcement decisions in the hands of a "passionate" elementary school principals
Or to the Secretary of Defense
Exactly! This is what “passionate” always gets us!
BLM are passionate
I grew up in that county. I was sent to Haywood County High School instead of Fayette County High School. Went to private school in elementary and middle school. Fayette County schools were notoriously bad for violence. Look up the stats.
I’m sure those kids gaining up on teacher giving false statements. It’s hell being a teacher. These kids have no discipline.
That's everyone's future.

@@mikegee729 Good catch. I was drinking that night. Plus I’m country lol
There are lots of terrible people in human history that were also "passionate"
I worked as a paraprofessional once for one school year twenty five years ago. The administration was reluctant to put their foot down against poor student behavior. I honestly believe a lot of the problems in schools could be sorted out but administrators are politicians that don't take a firm stance against nonsense.
Passionate or not, she should be fired immediately! She showed she isn’t capable of doing her job.
They mean loud lol
She did exactly what you would expect protect the criminal...
She won’t be fired for doing what the school board requires:Protect their image
I am a teacher. I feel for the teacher that was assaulted. These principals are not real or good leaders. I hope the teacher sues the district.
I'm glad to hear that she got arrested. People like her need to be held accountable. That was covering up an assault. "Two wrongs don't make a right".
How about Trump
Corrupt, dishonest comes to mind
This is abuse of power.
No it is not.
There’s powers behind her that want her in jail though… that much is clear.
A COMPLETE DISGRACE! Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺
It’s an elementary school; you want a child age six to eleven in jail?
What do we know about the actual assault? The citizens gotta piece this mystery together too?
😂 was thinking same thing
Well, I'll tell you. A black kid assaulted a teacher, the teacher may have been of any race. The school tried to cover it up so that they could keep the numbers skewed, and continue receiving all those grants and positions
It was a student striking a teacher @@harley2die4
Well, if you don't trust the police, and you cannot trust this principle, I guess you gotta figure it out if you wanna know what happened.
Seems we've gotten to a point where taxpayer funded employees are prioritizing covering their asses over serving the public.
When I went to elementary school, they still used the paddle. They didn't call the cops, you got whipped.
That kid would have gotten hit 5 times with the paddle and never did that again.
Wow! You’re still alive?! That’s some early 20th Century shit !!!
Cause and effect! If you didn't like the effect, you quickly learned not to cause shit!
That's happening in schools now all over the country!! This is not surprising news!!
All schools hide bullying too. If your child is assaulted at school, immediately call the police. Keep your paperwork and get your face in the office.
This will keep happening when you hire people based on attributes instead of merit and professionalism
So True !!!
Yeah like that fuck you probably support Trump
School administrator thinks she's above the law. Great example for the students in an orange jumpsuit. She's probably like other schools, trying to keep a lid on a school rife with bulling and violence.
Just like Fani
Lmfao. I love the little detail about how the teacher potentially assaulted the student first
Like what happened is a grown ass adult and a child in elementary school went toe to toe and the kid came out on top... and the principal was just like "go home"
Yeah, okay
Typical non action by any school. 5 years minimum jail time, send a message.
I bet the superendant thinks she's a passionate and valuable employee. She's
covering up for the school system.
superendant ==> superintendent

The Principal looks good in orange. Since she thinks she decides how the law & rules work, prison is a great place for her. She can teach a whole new group of students too. See, Win-Win.
She definitely is full on regarded.
her school is probably full of little criminals who are out of control and she doesn't want anyone to know about it, she is pretending it isn't happening instead of sorting the problem out as it is easier,
Gee, why am I not surprised. It's typical behavior considering the individual.
Your principal is a convict now. Good for her to go from normal to stupid in seconds.

Get the Federal Department of Education out of schools!
Retired school resource officer here. Worked with several school administrators that did not tell me things they were required by law to tell me. Didn't want arrests made as it would make the school look bad and make the administators look bad. They had the attitude that they reigned supreme at their school and did - or didn't do - anything they wanted to.
Wow a principle that does not care about her staff.
They should not be allowed to simply hide the facts of a crime in their school. It should be removed from their position immediately and charged criminally.
Police should be the last people talking about withholding evidence. They do it everyday and are not held accountable, and now they're quick to arrest a civilian.
IF you have one, what EXACTLY is your POINT???🤔
@geegstar If you spoke and understood English, then you'll get my point.
Wonder why there are less and less teachers since they are not regarded as valuable but as an asset...
I love how the news report starts with a description of the elementary principal as a "Passionate and a valued employee" yep, no media bias here 😀
The Principal did not want bad PR. How is the PR now principal?
Dishonesty is not the best policy
I left the profession a decade ago. Dont see myself going back.
It's always the "compassionate" ones.
"Looking after their own"
Awww sad because a job should never lead to this no job is worth your life being endangered or taken away to jail . Especially when you just made a mistake or a late judgement and when your investing your heart into teaching someone else’s kids sad for both employees very sad
The Principal looks great in the orange jumpsuit.
She was the principal in the assault and now she is no longer the Principal.
