Ah Michael . . . you're a TREMENDOUS CONTRIBUTOR on RUclips! Thank you, thank you, thank you! We'll build a statue to you when we're all gigging together in Heaven!
Well, on my Patreon channel I have a video with different reggae rhythms for bongo. You can use them in a lot of different songs of Bob Marley. Of course you can find the notation and the Play Along videos on my channel.
Hi, a beat confused here: I thought the one drop was beat 3. So, in a 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and, the drummer leaves beat 1 off and hits beat 3. You said it's on the second beat. I would appreciate anybody helping me with this confusion. Thank you in advance.
@@fareyemusic2564 Ah, so it was all about on the way I counted the one drop. Here this guy explains the counting: ruclips.net/video/oYRpsXxN4Q4/видео.html
I think what you want is: 1,2, three, 4 is almost the same as 1& two& 3& four& (beat on the text) or even 1& two& 1& two& It's still the third beat of the count in all of these. It's just a matter of how you count it.
@@MaxatMinimum Yeah thank you for taking the time! That's what I got from the responses and that video (the link I added in one of my comments)! I appreciate everyone's input on this!

Percussion for Reggae? Check Nyabinghi riddim, it is the base of the percussion part in so many Jamaican productions.
You can find a tutorial about the Nyabinghi rhythm on my Patreon channel. Check it out!
