I think you forgot to talk about many things
1. The 2018 World Cup, with the coach (Lopetegui) being ceased just the week before the tournament. Spain lost to Russia on an indentical way they lost yo Morocco

Delbosque played favorites, he kept starting bad players in games like Pedro who is one of the most selfish and useless player who seldom passes. Delbosque 11:50 starts Pedro in every game over Jesus Navas because he plays for Barcelona. There were numerous times when Jesus Navas subbed on and created chances for the team.Navas coming on in the World Cup 2010 final and woke up the constant passing and created chances. He was the one who created the chance that led to Iniesta’s goal and won the World Cup for them. Then Delbosque still continued to benched Navas in Euro 2012 and played useless and selfish Pedro. Delbosque was a one trick pony who did not know how to adjust based on the opponents they face. De Le Fuentes on the other hand is a better tactician and makes adjustments based on who the opponent is. He is not consume by possession which he demonstrated with the win against Croatia.He plays wingers and he included Jesus Navas to his squad and this has paid him dividends!

Don't let yourself be fooled by national-madridism
They praised Del Bosque when all the work was Luis Aragones' while Luis was being bombarded by media press for literally not bringing under-performing toxic locker room Raúl González.
Same is happening with De la Fuente and Luis Enrique, where Enrique had the same weight and pressure even when his daughter died just because he did not bring injured Ramos, Nacho and under-performing Lucas Vázquez and the typical Madrid random youngster that they sell after 3 matches.
Hell, even De la Fuente was criticized for the same reason when he did not bring Brahim (lmao) for Yamal or didn't bring Nacho for Cubarsi.
He is now praised only because he did not train Barça and is kind to the press, even tho the team plays literally the same just with better players.
The new Spain coach look outside of Real Madrid and Barcelona for players who have the skill set snd mindset to succeed. The wingers are playing more vertical compared to to before. They are more attack oriented instead of possession and pass oriented.
