In those videos, M Ravi threatened to sue the police. He also offered to teach the police how to conduct themselves professionally. When we saw those videos, we didn’t know its context. Why were the police there? Who called them? What were they investigating? Why was M Ravi so agitated? It turned out that a number of things happened that might have resulted in the police being there. M Ravi assaulted a former colleague? It appears that prior to the events in the video, M Ravi had assaulted one of his former colleagues, Charles Yeo. Or so Yeo has claimed on Facebook. According to Yeo, the police officer investigating Yeo’s allegations have classified the case under Section 323 - Voluntarily Causing Hurt. Apparently, the assault resulted in a cut above Yeo’s eye. As a result of that, Yeo was on MC for two days and it had caused him so much mental stress that he fainted in M Ravi’s office. If Yeo’s claims were real, then perhaps the police in the videos were not there to investigate any trespassing issues, but were there to investigate M Ravi for the alleged assault on Yeo. M Ravi trespassed the office of his former law firm Yeo’s allegations aside, what we do know for a fact is that M Ravi has been arrested and charged for criminal trespass. Here is a video of M Ravi being arrested:

Firstly Singapore police officers did their very best to keep Singapore safe keeping it's crime rate as low as possible and people are still complaining about how bad police officers are. They risk their lives to ensure our safety can't we respect them? You can't see the effort they put in to keep Singapore safe.
Police : " We have come to investigate your law firm based on the report we received" Lawyer : " Did you have a pen and note book or some piece of paper with you now" Police : " Er yes but why?" Lawyer : " I'll teach you about law and today subject is " raiding or entering people's premises according to the contitution".
This was 5 years ago, otherwise the lawyer would have infringed on the personal data protection act when he asked for NRIC. And I wonder then ~ why would the Police obliged. They can give their staff numbers or then just stated their full names as per NRICs. (If the lawyer is suing them, then it is his part of his search to obtain their NRICs ~ there would be a case report to Police superior ; via his other means. I do not think is obligatory under the Singapore law. Also, the Police should identified themselves at the threshold and ask if they are permitted to enter. Otherwise, have the conversation along the corridor stating the matter that they are deployed. Silly n inexperienced Police ~ need a refresher training. My intuition ~ if your are a custodian of the law, take the time n effort to memorise and know basic constitutions and Acts. U never know when u meet another “Ravi”.
@Keith Lee ma'am warrant is needed when there is an arrest took place or if there is a search made. Every SPF officers has an active warrant card while on duty. In this case the lawyer who suppose to cooperate with them are making fun of the officers and also doesn't respect the law which made by government. Thoese officers are not required to provide their IC number. If he really insists he can take the name and the service number only
They don't enter by force and second they are police officer. Stupid police can be fooled by this stupid over confident botak. This botak just need 1 confident shout and he will scared and wake up to reality.
I'm not a big fan of this M Ravi guy but yall hating on him for just him questioning them about the law which the officers are supposed to know about before putting their foot into his law firm says alot about yall. He did and said what he had to say and do. This just shows he is more well aware of the law then some in SPF.
How is he even a lawyer? So arrogant and show off. I think a good lawyer will handle this situation better with at least some respect. Everyone learn new things as they grow up in life, no one is perfect, even the policemen. "i want to sue you, i can even sue the prime minister" threatening, thinking highly of oneself, using intelligence to bully overpower people and that type of random sarcastic singing. The picture of this situation is not about law anymore but the lawyer bad personality image. The person he needs to challenge is not the police, is the psychiatrist.
Singaporean are living in one of the safest environment thanks to Singapore Police Force. Our policemen are efficient and effective in protecting lives and properties in Singapore. They are carrying out their duties for the public's interests. Give some respect to them when they are attending a case eventhough they are not as knowledgeable in law as lawyers. You could oppose it if you know that your rights have been violated and not to treat policemen as your students!Just give your reasonable cooperation so that they could do their works well. I think Mr Ravi was lucky as this was happened in Singapore. He may be arrested for Obstructing a public servant in the performance of his duties and he might be getting a worst treatment in some other countries!

M Ravi trespassed the office of his former law firm
Yeo’s allegations aside, what we do know for a fact is that M Ravi has been arrested and charged for criminal trespass. Here is a video of M Ravi being arrested:
The link seems to be missing.
Police doesn't know anything about the law. Under which section also don't know. Then how to uphold and protect the law?
The IC no. of the police officer should have been censored.
Does he even have the right to ask for the policeman’s NRIC? police ID maybe, but NRIC is personal
@@Albert_Einstein_not I'm sure you can ask for it, whether they have to give it is another matter, no?
Holy... civilian investigating the police
police are civilian too

Eh anjing ko x bukan orang Singapore and ko x tahu apa yang berlaku so better ko diam.

Typical kiasu, kiasi lor, don't play play with SG according to phua chu kang not me .😂
The police can enter a law firm or any place if they have reason to believe a crime is in progress or to stop s crime. Base on incident reports.
It's not the constitution but penal code.
also known as probable cause
Ever heard of citizens constitutions and ammendments? This is something that every citizen has every right to and I have been violated 3 times for carrying around a bottle of valium for panic attacks whites prescribed by a doctor and never got back. Yet they claimed they had to seize my meds on legal grounds just cuz I put the in a glass jar cuz the original container often cracked... the wasted hours of my time and that of my family.
@@christopherko475 bring your doctor's prescription with you.
what a joke...first the lawyer is right that they cant enter without warrant. Then again the lawyer also take advntage of the officer bcos he know they hv little knowledge of law. The lawyer should atleast show respect to the officers
Yes, I felt the same way too...
Me too
Me three
He has bipolar .So yes his actions seem crazy but he was a good lawyer at heart .

Spf should send in a more senior and experience officer for this ravi case, not fresh out of school type.
Why shld the police need a warrant? They are not searching his office. Just as if the police visits my home to ask some questions there's nothing wrong with that, they are just doing their job. There's nothing wrong with that. He's bullying them. Nasty man!
He schooled the police
Legend
I love that quiet policewoman.
she looks terrified..

One of the most beautiful policewoman in SG
If this happen to Malaysia...Malaysia police will take 10min to bring down this fellow. He dont even got chance to speak.
That's bad
At least the Police Officers learnt some law
Lmao lawyer firm can enter by anybody, especially when the door are not locked. This stupid lawyer make fun of stupid police who have no balls
The woman cop Singapore at this video Soo cute 🥰🥰🥰
The female officer chio sia!!!
She airplane lol
I hate person with attitude like that. Even if he is a lawyer but, he cant serve other people like that. He serve the police officer with no respect. He acting rude.
Firstly Singapore police officers did their very best to keep Singapore safe keeping it's crime rate as low as possible and people are still complaining about how bad police officers are. They risk their lives to ensure our safety can't we respect them? You can't see the effort they put in to keep Singapore safe.
But he should know his supervisor name
So many of all these young police officers r all under trained type...!!!☝️😳🙄😬
The officers should only arrive at the office if the lawyer is found dead or something. Other than that no the lawyer must go file a police report.
Police : " We have come to investigate your law firm based on the report we received"
Lawyer : " Did you have a pen and note book or some piece of paper with you now"
Police : " Er yes but why?"
Lawyer : " I'll teach you about law and today subject is " raiding or entering people's premises according to the contitution".
This guy has balls of steel 👏
He is gay

The Indian is Correct, without any warrant you can not just barge in a private premises.
Unless if there is snake in that premise that is a threat to socaiti
@Keith Lee ma'am warrant is needed when there is an arrest took place or if there is a search made. Every SPF officers has an active warrant card while on duty. In this case the lawyer who suppose to cooperate with them are making fun of the officers and also doesn't respect the law which made by government. Thoese officers are not required to provide their IC number. If he really insists he can take the name and the service number only
@@yogagovin8998 They clearly wanted to arrest and you need to be a certain rank before you can actually enter a law firm:)
They don't enter by force and second they are police officer. Stupid police can be fooled by this stupid over confident botak. This botak just need 1 confident shout and he will scared and wake up to reality.
I hope, after all this years, that hairy legged fella has learnt to be a better person
Policemen u shld hav say I'm here to ask question not to search ur plc. I don't need warrant.
They need a warrant
Who is watching in 2023. Our police lol.
So full of air this so called lawyer, "no, no, no, no, no" 😂 so arrogant!
But when you’re a mere cheers cashier, you get fired lol…
He didn't look like a lawyer, looks like a uncle.....
U watched too much TV. Lawyers are normal human. They come in all shapes and sizes and they can wear watever they like unless going to court.
well at least he knows law better than those who get dressed for a show😌🙂
That chinese lady so striking...
Yeah. So cute and beautiful😊😊
Lol got police officer kena sue for investigating. Lol. And they can still do calm like signing up a paper
I tripped on a rock today, I'm gonna get M Ravi to sue the rock for 1 million USD.
This indian lawyer so rude,
He's a lawyer, his aim is only to win.
Not lawyer but irs scammers. Hahaha
Lipan Bara When you do a small mistake in Singapore the police is soo rude towards you and now they broke a law so they deserve it
I'm not a big fan of this M Ravi guy but yall hating on him for just him questioning them about the law which the officers are supposed to know about before putting their foot into his law firm says alot about yall.
He is a lawyer. A disgraced lawyer is also a lawyer..
M Ravi violently pushed n slapped a woman when she fell in .. 2017? He was subsequent send to IMH
goggle for the video
ok and how does that help with this?
@@auroraslagoon were you in his lap after that doing service for him??

The officers should tell the lawyer to go file a report at the police station.
well at the end of the day, they will get into trouble as they came into the law firm with no warrant and no basis or constitution so
All the supervisors hiding under the desk.
Wait a sec, did y'all just reviewed the female police's ic no.?
