Oh, Donavan. I am in tears for you. I am so sorry for your loss. At least you have his voice and some great videos of him, good, bad, or indifferent. He was your Dad. I pray we all meet up in Heaven someday. WOW, did he have a wonderful voice and could play. We all did stuff in our past that we're not proud of. When I became a born-again Christian, I really felt the Holy Spirit move in me when I was in church that day. The passage in the Bible that says something like I am wash clean, I thought of all my sins and how they were washed clean and I'm as clean as the white snow. See, I'm a child rape victim, and all my life, I thought I was dirty and not worthy. But that day in church, really, for the first time in my life, felt whole, clean, and the warmth of the Holy Spirit come over me. I became a new person. I also lost my birth mother but only have a notebook with her broken English notes and Japanese writing in it (I don't know how to read kanji). I never knew her and didn't even know her voice. But she did write in there many, many times that she loved my brother and me. Which made me feel better because my stepparent, she said she didn't. I don't know why I said all that above. Maybe because I feel your loss. Anyway, I think I know how you feel as far as you not knowing him before he passed. You have his videos, which is kinda nice. I pray with all my heart that you and your family feel the Lord's warmth and loving arms holding you all as you go through this. Christina it is a very difficult thing to talk about a tough troubled past with many deep hurts and struggles so thank you for sharing that. I can’t imagine how you felt all those years but I know exactly what it feels like when you’re forgiven of your sins from our Led and Savior Jesus Christ. My Father died in the year 1990 4th of March he was an preach was a alcohol and got saved and went to Bible school he died from a massive heart attack and went to be with the lord he died in my hands wish we had video of him back in those days i am now taking care of my mother how will be 80 years in August the 19th 2024 part of life is losing our love one but have a blessed hope to see them in heaven love you all God blessing to you all my prayers are with you all 🙏💖..

@@TeamTateOutdoorsI loss my dad when I was 8 I would give anything to have him . He was putting blocks under our trailer and leaned up against the corner of the trailer and electrocuted him and he died on the way to the hospital .I miss him dearly . 💛💜🥰
@@TeamTateOutdoors yes it was I was 8 my brother was 7 and my little brother was 4 . We all saw it happen . My mom was in our yard screaming for someone to stop and nobody did our preacher came running from next door and he called 911 . The preacher took us 3 kids next door to his house while momma went to the hospital with daddy but he didn't make it to the hospital alive .That was 50 years ago but it still fells like yesterday . 💛💜🥰
Donovan, Sorry to hear of his passing. You said he professed Christ before his passing. Even though you may not have been close, I’m sure the Christian example of you and your family went along way in him making that profession. They can’t help but notice that.
