IIRC Kronii uses the UA Apollo twin X interface that known to has a lot of driver issues in Windows. That could be the reason of the problems she having.
Always driver issues, always on USB hardware. With all the issues people have with USB audio, and my own experience with repeat bluescreens on hdmi audio, these days I only trust spdif or just the regular 3.5mm output and input.
@@castform57 For playback maybe but for microphone input that's not gonna work. SPDIF and 3.5mm jack are simply not suitable for high quality audio input.
Could it be what she says, that the interface or whatever detects when it is for a game and changes it? Possibly to a much lower bitrate for some reason?
Nier songs are just made for Kronii vocal range. Even with the Xbox mic problem, it was such a great song and Kronii nailed it! Also, it's nice to hear her talk about mixing since sometimes I forget she is a sound mixer.
legitimately hope she investigates and finds a solution to her audio quality issues, even if it requires new hardware (that isn't USB, ideally). recording quality aside, what keeps me from tuning into most of her content has more to do with aggressively peaking and clipping whenever she gets the slightest bit loud; whether it's for good reasons, out of frustration, or out of fear. it just ruins the experience.

I wonder if it's the port where one of the cables go to, I know somethings don't function as well if it's USB 3 on a USB 2 sometimes
