Rimuru would’ve “corrected” his fighting style. I think Rimuru realised that body enhancement couldn’t bring out his full potential or it was just for those episodes.

rimuru has no physical gender but the same face as shizue so how does everyone see him as a he by default? maybe there's no exact gender in japanese pronouns?
Japanese is in large parts genderless, so when other characters speak about or to Rimuru there are barely any identifying factors regarding the gender of the person being spoken about/to. Rimuru, however, does strongly identify as male and uses a personal pronoun that‘s almost exclusively used by men, therefore making it clear to anyone he speaks to that he thinks of himself as male. I guess that’s why translators of Tensura decide to use he/him even if there is no gender specific pronoun in the original Japanese.
