Really strange coincidence, mate. I was JUST thinking earlier today "Wouldn't it be good to compile a list of faults/symptoms and what components to check?" And there you've done it :)
I already know this isn't the first time you have got some stuff wrong. All good, next time you will check, lmao. Thanks for the video Phil and how is my sweet crumpet doing?
Sup man, I started to watch ur videos since few days and I wanna ask someone experienced on new gens console, so I bought used PS5 Digital Edition 1216-B (the newst one actually), and I have two questions abt that. 1. does like digital edition of consoles are less/same/more emergency than blu ray ones, and also what about SSD on PS5, how big is the probability of SSD self-dying with rare playing (example 10-20 hours a week), and getting additional SSD for games to don't waste original one on games will lengthen original which will be only used to handle OS? Got my PS5 week ago for now played NFS Unbound and Jedi Fallen Order for around 8 hours in total and it doesn't seem to be broken, but just wanna protect it for future. Edit: Also last question, did u repaired any ps5 from 12XX series? I heard Sony changed some things with motherboard construction and APU/CPU so wondering if the new series has same problems or some of them got fixed or they're more rare to happen than in previous versions
I luv your videos but I do have a question I have a xbox one s that has motherboard problems can I take the hard drive out of it and put it in my new Xbox one the reason I’m asking my old Xbox has a 1 TB and my new one has only 500GB

Hey, when people say "Low melt solder" are they just talking leaded?
I think i should be next l been waiting for long time
I wander whereabouts the BIOS is within the ps4 and the ps5 I'm not entirely sure if it is part of the southbridge.
10:55 small component broken off by RAM ic
Good catch!
Phil is that flux paste?
It's solder paste mate. Basically tiny balls of solder mixed with a little bit of flux

Yeah you can can use the hard drive from the old one in the new one just you will have to put your account back on it and re-download your stuff
of course you can, you just need to make sure the drive is good
Yeah as said above you can use it, but you'll need to reinstall the operating system and redownload your games and apps
Ah well we all make mistakes mate. This is how we learn. 👍
Hi phil
On the reball i mean
Nice
Just out of curiosity...Could you remove the liquid metal by shooting air through an air compressor and point it under the APU?
It's possible yeah. I would say you'd need a pretty powerful air compressor though
Ps5 is very bad quality
