    Wow, everything seen here is a blast from the past! I completely forgot that Easy Internet Sign-Up and HP Organize had presentations. Seeing that the HP Organize introduction video features stock music tracks produced by a company named Freeplay Music, I am in the process of trying to find the piano music composition used in it as it reminds me of the one used in the Microsoft Natural Keyboard Elite advertisement produced in the late 1990s. It's also cool that the Easy Internet Sign-Up software had stock music that is available in the RUclips Audio Library and therefore still can be used in media today.
    This video brings back fantastic memories of using my HP Pavilion a700n desktop PC with Windows XP Home Edition, from 2004 to 2011. However, I will confess, I remember trying the HP System Recovery process on there once due to childhood curiosity that was getting to me way back in 2006. But I used to have fun playing WildTangent PC games that were pre-installed on it before then, and also had fun viewing the introduction presentation for Get High-Speed Internet. Thank you very much for the fantastic throwback fun in this video! You are a hero of childhood nostalgia!

      When I was a kid, the extra images found in the My Pictures folder of these 2002-2006 era HP Pavilion and Compaq Presario PCs were my favorite as a kid on my old Windows XP computer. Sadly, as far as I know, nobody has archived these onto the Internet Archive for anyone to see.
      They probably came bundled with their Windows XP PCs that had either HP Image Zone or HP Photosmart Premier pre-installed, though I'm not sure which HP software those images came from.

    An HP Invent logo with a blue loading screen. Pretty rare.

    My mom had one of these pcs when I was younger! It worked great up until one day where for whatever reason we encountered a code purple error i only remember it cause I never ran into or saw that error again and I always wondered why. Anyhow I think it was a motherboard failure issue, which was (supposedly) really expensive and my mom didn't want to spend the money. So the company she worked for (she was working from home btw) bought her a new pc that I enevitably inherited and afterwards she got an immensely powerful dell that soaked up like a 1000 watts or some crap. Still ran slower that anything. But I digress point is that was what happened to what I nicknamed "The square button PC"

    As a follow-up to my previous comment, I have found out that the piano music heard in the HP Organize video is called "Soul Thang," which is available on the Freeplay Music website. Sadly, it isn't royalty-free. It's a production music track that needs to have a license involved. I would like to also find the pop music heard in it since it sounds very neat.

    I know this is crazy but I have the hp a647c that of alllllllll the old mice/keyboards I have, none of them fit the round port in the back. Would you happen to have one I can buy, have or use? I just need to get my pictures and some personal documents before I trash it. If you wanted it, you could have it. I'm at a loss. I even tried using a USB port attached to one of my keyboards and mice but nothing works. Any ideas???
    Thank you.

    I think your Hard drive is failing unfortunately dude

    • @jwoolery99
      @jwoolery99  3 года назад +1

      I haven’t yet checked the health but the symptoms don’t immediately show that it’s failing storage. I could be wrong but I’m sure the drive would have a more immediate show-and-tell if it was failing. Plus I’m sure random crashes and reboots with corruption can’t be cause by storage directly. Not saying it’s impossible but not likely.

    Of course file corrupted, it's an HP. Just kidding, could be PSU voltage drops though, oem psus aren't that good. Of course I did have one that was running fine just die with a blue screen as the mother board ceased to post at a restart with a black screen. Flakey at best if old. They are prone to dying, not a fluke.
