wow i never knew there was a difference. I tend to have a hard time distinguishing between my fibro pain and my CRPS pain thank you for all this research! It helps so much!!!
I get migraines. I think I have seven zillion tender points at the back of my neck by the occipital nerve. 😝 The Botox works great. While waiting for another treatment when the latest Botox wore off, I ended up hearing about acupuncture in ears for migraines. The regular body acupuncture hadn't had any real effect (years earlier). It was very affordable ($15 for two needles - one in each ear), so I figured why not give it a try? Holy cow! My daily headaches went from a pain level average of 7 (10 being unbearable pain) down to 2-3. I am still getting tiny, short-lived cluster headaches, but the big, occipital area monster headaches have diminished greatly. The short, tiny needle just stays in your ear. My first set lasted 2 weeks before they fell out. Totally affordable! 😊
My mom has had fibro for years. Starting around April/May this year I’ve been getting tender spots all over. I think it’s from my increased health anxiety this year and increase in weight. Haven’t been tested for it or anything, but. Yeah.
It's a worry for you when your Mum has it as you worry you will get it too. It takes 3 months of constant pain and like you say trigger points to be diagnosed with Fibro along with history etc. Try not to worry, easier said than done but stress makes everything worse.
I did know they were different and i used to have trigger point injections. Haven't had them for around 2years now as the NHS trust i live in don't fund them and i had to weigh up which was more affordable- jabs privately or massages. Now i have regular massages, but i can't tolerate a sports massage. (Obvs that is all on hold now due to covid.) Thanks for this fibro section Xx
You are welcome. I like finding out new things! 😊 When I had the sports massage, sometimes I couldn't handle much pressure and other times I could, all depended on how I was on the day.
@@LordandLordettes I may try again in the future bit for now just 90mins peace away from "real life" is satisfying and the massage a bonus 😂😂😂 Hope Holly's appointment goes well and that Poppy had a lovely time in the tub xxxx
@@LordandLordettes I suck it up and take the pain. The next day I'm sore, but then I'm good for a week afterwards. It's totally worth it to bear the pain of the massage. 😊

You are very welcome. I am doing a section on that soon!
I love these videos you give so much information in a really easy to understand and relatable way xx
Thank you! Glad you are enjoying them.
I take prescribed tramadol, 2 tablets with 2 paracetamol, 4 x a day.
