Dear Mr Ginsberg... Your videos helped prepare me for a consultative evaluation with a shrink and because of that and other info in your videos that helped me prepare for my hearing I won my case! Thank you so much sir!
@@ssdattorney I did exactly what you said in the video and made my best effort on the tests the doctor gave me and was 100% honest with her. Her report won my case and you had a big hand in saving my life because I had my suicide planned in detail in case I lost and had the means to do so. I just wanted you to understand that you`re making a difference. Thank you sir!
Thanks for the information. I have fibromyalgia and just turned 50 a few months ago. I’ve been fighting for 10 years to win SSDI benefits. My case was remanded twice. I have a phone hearing in less than 3 months. I was diagnosed and treated by a rheumatologist, diagnosed with depression and anxiety a few years prior to the fibro diagnosis. I’ve been hospitalized twice (4 days each time) for anxiety, depression and rage. I saw an internal medicine doctor who specializes in treating fibromyalgia,. He conducted cognitive tests, physical capacity tests(This might not be the correct term -I forget at times) and wrote a couple of letters stating that I could not work. The attorney that I used when I sued the insurance company that took me off long term disability claim, said it was the most supportive letter he’d ever seen from a doctor. It’s been a long journey. I think your videos will help prepare me for the phone hearing.
I forgot to add, that the insurance company settled with me. As a part of the settlement, they relinquished any rights to the backpay I receive when I win my SSDI case.
That is so unfair. I have so many health issues but worst problem is fibromyalgia. There is overwhelming all over pain and fatigue. Sometimes so profound it’s hard to breathe.
I agree. So many think fibro is just a "trash can" diagnosis when the dr doesn't know what else the pain could be but that is far from true!! Have you been formally diagnosed by a rheumatologist? I was and along with other impairments got approved in June after a hearing. Good luck to you!
In 2001, I was approved and received Social Security disability after 2 years of investigations (I have Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, severe headaches, VERY severe brain fog, osteoarthritis, severe back/hip pain from old injuries, carpal tunnel, pain/problems using hands, IBS, ADD, depression). I'm over 50 now. In 2019, the SS admin. did a review. After that they said I was approved, no further action necessary. Early 2020, they sent letter saying they may do another review but due to COVID-19 they suspending evaluation until further notice and would let me know when. I received no other word. ALL OF A SUDDEN in Dec. 2020, I received a letter saying SS was STOPPING my benefits! I received no payment for Dec.2020. Letter only said "based on the information we have we cannot pay benefits." What the h---! I've seen the doctors over and over.. I have not seen doctors as OFTEN in 2020 because they canceled appointments due to THEM limiting in-person visits due to COVID conditions and shutdowns. But my health hasn't changed in all these years, if anything it's worse. The SS dept. certainly don't know what they're doing! And I've noticed the various depts don't talk to each other and they don't share information. One says one thing, one says another. I'm having a difficult time getting in touch with people in SS ofc and also getting this resolved. Focus is very difficult. Hard to do these things all on my own, too. Please any help or suggestions is appreciated. Thank you!
I’m 51 a male and just got diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I got an attorney and deal with lots of muscular skeletal pains, IBS, constipation, and depression.
Kenny in my experience it is very difficult to win an SSD case for fibro if you are a male. As such my first inclination would be to focus on the IBS and the musculoskeletal pain. Follow your attorney's advice regardless.
@ I have a nominal 15 degree mid back scoliosis and osteoarthritis is bigger issue. Cervical issues, the jelly in my neck vertebrae and some spinal degration. Bone spurs that are possibly why I get terrible thorasic pain (they grew on ribs and touch spine), granted I had that pain since a car accident in my 20’s, just worse now. The fibromyalgia was just diagnosed through the spinal department. He said minimum score would be 7, I have a 15. You mentioned 17? I think it’s 7 on up?
My gosh I can’t get out of bed half the time my legs hurt so bad they won’t hold me up !! Rheumatoid dr ok 👌 I’m glad I found this one !! I don’t want their meds though I’ve been down that road it don’t help. I take cbd I have SEVERE Anxiety ADHD DEPRESSION CONSTIPATION TOO headaches ect !! Ty will u help me ? I have the fibro fog ect I’m always fatigued I feel like a big bruise all my joints hurt too
I have fibro Rhumetoid dercums disease I am 51 and in October I had rotator cuff surgery and 5 procedures done in my arm now I have to have surgery done in my foot I have bone spur in my Achillis tenden and I been out of work since June because I was missing diagnosed with a frozen shoulder .I applied for SSDI in July I have a herniated disk in my neck I go to a spine and pain center and I was denied! I also have nerve pain and take pills for it and I'm diabetic .
How can I collect my pension & ssdi or ssi at the same time? Is this prorated? I’m 50 now and plan to medically retire next year due to fibromyalgia and other medical issues, gastrointestinal and migraines, diabetes, sciatica and other chronic pain and illnesses. Edit: also have extreme anxiety and depression
Mr.Ginsberg thank you for this video I Have a SSD hearing next month I have osteoarthritis and Diabetes well I was just diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 2 weeks ago can I use this also since it was just Diagnosed by a Rheumatologist and SSD is getting my medical records
I was denied disability, requested to a reconsideration, and was denied again. And, now, I have to appear before a judge, so I’m searching for an attorney. I’m in the Dallas, TX area if anyone knows of a great disability attorney.
Yes!! I was approved based on diagnoses of narcolepsy with cataplexy, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, major depression and GAD and I won my case with an attorney at the hearing level. Definitely possible and can't hurt to try if you are unable to work. Good luck to you!
I’ve recently started doing better with my digestive issues. But I am still applying for disability for my fibromyalgia and anxiety and depression. When my judge asked how often I throw up I said twice because I haven’t been throwing up like I was when I first applied. I now have medication and a diagnosis for my digestive issues. Does the digestive progress mean I won’t likely get approved for disability?
Sir I have two complete knee replacements the right knee done two years ago. I’m 61 years old I have diabetes I also weigh 350 lbs. I have a very hard time walking ,standing ,climbing and seating for long periods of time. I’m laid off after 28 yrs do you think I have a chance of getting disability in Texas Thanks
I was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer then diagnosed with fibromyalgia after treatment. I have interview coming up, do you think I will lose my disability?
For me it’s been a constant battle with my doctors who refuse to acknowledge Lupron injections which is CHEMOTHERAPY ☠️ damaged my body..from my cellular level, my bones ache 24/7, my nerves are permanently damaged, I suffer from insomnia, loud noises trigger my nervous system, I now have joint swelling in my hands, I developed trigger finger in my dominant hand, and all I keep getting is prescription after prescription for Zoloft, nortriptyline both antidepressants now used off label to “treat” nerve pain..but what about my chronic joint pain? They took away my pain medication and won’t give me back my tramadol despite me telling them it’s the only medicine that helps me “manage” my day to day life. I am at a point I want to sue these Kaiser doctors for negligence and for forcing me to take something that’s not for my illness. The judge denied my case, when I got a chance to go in for a hearing he didn’t allow my mother or husband to come in to give their statement since they help me around the house with day to day activities since I can’t cook, I need help in the house with cleaning and cooking and I can’t drive anymore. Can I Sue the judge for denying my family to speak in my behalf? I can see why people go postal now..seriously!! We are being damaged by big Pharma, and doctors are being paid by them to deny medications are causing any damage..what am I suppose to do.
Tramadol works for me too for fibromyalgia. Kaiser stinks as a healthy insurance imo. Hope you win your case. I plan to file when I can no longer work. Hope to retire when my daughter turns 18 and graduates next year. I’m fully vested and 50 already. Not sure how I can collect ssdi & my pension too but it’s worth a shot

That is impressive - I have not heard of anyone doing that before.

As a man I was able to win, however there were other problems and my advanced age. Thanks again Jonathan!

Sucks because my new Rheumatologist no longer treats or sees patients for fibromyalgia
OMG he described me to a T.. I was a go getter and now I can't do much for myself now. I can hardly walk, I feel like I am a 80 year old.

Thank you, great video.
My rheumatologist will not treat me for that but I do have RA I am 62 And. Worked all my life. Having a hearing in September
When I applied, they said I was disabled, but didn't have enough quarters to get benefits. I'm twenty-seven, this was when I was twenty-five.
