They both sound very good to me! I wanna call it a toss up but I think Karr might have a slight edge. Their arrangements seems to be better. They both have great repertoire though.

And even the little songs they did play, they got sloppier the more they played. Definitely an endurance issue.
Love what these young men and young women bring to this outstanding tradition. Look at the excellence, the gifts, so excited for their passion and what they can become, hopefully some will be back 20-30 years & 20-30 yards to their left or right sponsoring another generation of excellence. Karr wins with better book and overall sound as a band. Aug is not back people. They have a long long way to get back to being consistency like before Katrina.I do give them credit for allowing the strength of there band carry them.
It’s 2022 post Katrina no band is the same and no music is the same. All u can do is teach fundamentals and teach them quality over quantity. Karr is loud and half the time u probably don’t know what the song is. But it’s ur opinion and i respect that
