For those that say they’re playing all whole notes and tbones can’t be heard, must either be partially hearing impaired or maybe you’re just not that musically inclined. Both bands have variations of notes and tempo, but when the entire band plays and I don’t mean parts that are emphasized, the Aug was better. LW is ok but not better today than Aug. they play SU arrangements and if you’re going to step into that roll, then expect to be judged like SU sound. Often imitated but never duplicated. When the Aug plays, you can close your eyes and know it’s them playing. Originality, full sound, Purple with the W this night.
On some real s**t, LW got handed a L last time. They truly came back ready for war this time. LW have the potential to be a force like old school Carver band. I encourage y’all to keep pushing, take practice serious and battles even more serious.

O. Perry Walker was the first to run that tribute to Bob Marley in New Orleans back in the early 2000's and I must say I like whats been done with it now it's a much better version then we played. Also you seen how LW handled the whole situation with both bands being disrespectful, like true professionals.
