Its the Cutting Ram that seems Gutless on the crusher, its not lowering it down far enough to cut the scrap off cleanly, the seals proberly need changing .
Those shear blades are designed to be periodically rotated and eventually replaced and the wear plates in the shear mouth should be maintained. I fear a lack of general preventative maintenance is the reason for the problem.
is that the excavator that sounds like it keeps cutting out? yup it is, i commented too soon! didn´t they just work on it´s wiring? poor crusher is folding again. no wonder with half the lock nuts missing.
