I was just once in the area, but quite in a hurry (had to do about 700km that day), so I took the A1 motorway instead. @@DIVVERSE Sure, the motorway part from Lausanne to Montreux is much more interesting. Just that I took A1 north, to Bern. Drove the whole of A1 from french border to the end of it, where it continues into A13, near St. Margrethen, that day.

There are some great views also from the motorway, from Lausanne to Montreux in the morning or from Montreux to Lausanne when it's sunset
