Cheers for the sub, watching and commenting. The Gap ride I've done it many times, solo even in snow and ice (which was a bit irresponsible), with my two daughters, for charity, with an MTB group I ride with, on a memorial ride and I've hiked it too and rode part of it on a gravel bike. Have to say it is among my top favourites. The pub in Talybont On Usk, The White Hart does great food and is worth a stop off or the cafe next to Hikes and Bikes.
Thanks, much appreciated. One of the best Bannau Brycheiniog National Park loops to ride on an EMTB in my opinion. I've just got an EMTB so looking forward to riding this with some assistance as my legs aren't recovering as quickly as they used to👴👍
Nice one Neil, I used to ride from Brecon but the tow paths are just getting too busy and 6k of flat canal riding doesn’t float my boat 😂 hope you had a great ride
Hey, completely new to mountain biking, can I just ask what that device is on your handlebar? Is it for navigation? I live in wales and would love to ride routes like this but wouldn’t have a clue where I’m going 🤦🏻♂️🤣
I’ll try and link the route on strava and put a link in description tomorrow, cheers it does give back more descending, Evans Ride It event used similar route back in 2019 where I got the idea from 💡👊🏼
Looks like you had it all going for you today, nice weather, great location, fun ride! The Trance must be performing up to your expectations, you got me wanting a new one now. What camera are you using these days?
Hi Keith how you doing? Thanks for watching. The trance is fantastic and loving the 29er wheels. The suspension is very plush. I’m using the hero 7 black with the same settings as the Loam Ranger (see his GoPro settings vid on his channel) 🤛🏼
Up passed Dolygaer centre along the climb of the very rocky path then at the junction at the top head straight over until you reach the metal gate. Cheers for watching.
Great video, thank you, looking to do this ride next year, great to find a video with someone riding a non-electric bike, new sub 👍

Excellent video, hopefully I'll be able to do that route or similar on the emtb next year.

Start from Trefil Road, and get onto the Bryn Oer Tramroad from there, some great stuff
Did that route from Bryn Bach Park on the Evans Ride It event. The quarry is impressive. Cheers for the comment and ta for watching.
Amazing dad! Great vid...brynore was definitely a busy one that dad 👀 doing it that way round is so much better, looking at it
Getting the max descending out of what usually feels a slog, felt good. 🤘🏻
Gran trabajo
Thanks for watching 🤛🏼

Good question, I use a Wahoo Elemnt Roam for routes that I create using the Komoot app. Cheers and welcome to the world of MTB.
