I appreciate all these tips! I've seen too many counselors brush emotions off and be like "How can you not have fun?". You seem like an extraordinary counselor! Can you talk about camp gossip/avoiding gossip? I've seen people describe camp like Love Island and I, as a lesbian, am uncomfortable with people "shipping" me with male counselors. Your videos have made me consider wanting to apply for camp!

I had this happen twice two days before opening day we got two kids but on opening day one kid cried for the whole day and I spent the whole day with him and by the end of the day he was so happy camp was happening! I just listened and cared for him that day and I can’t wait to see him again this summer ❤😢
