Pretty much my job. I try to make sure I do enough not to have anybody yelling. Past that I just try to take it a bit easy. If a coworker needs help, I will do what I can, but I mainly just keep my head down and collect a check every other Friday until I can get enough saved for retirement. 475 weeks, 4 days to go, but who's counting? :)

When I worked as a tech writer for Corrections Dept. of our State Government (no less) we had a guy on payroll who, after some reorganization, had no job description. He was in my department, reading novels, writing his memoirs, and laying low all day. Everyone liked him, and he'd run errands, make coffee, help with editing. Had a Master's in Criminal Justice. I think he did about 1 hour of real work each week. So no, this is not a parody.
I once had 2 bosses who hated each other and weren’t on speaking terms. When 1 asked me to do something, I just told them I was doing something for the other boss. I kept this up for 8 months until 1 of the bosses left.
+Billy Sotherden It's great because it perfectly shows exactly what's wrong with the workplace in this movie and sadly, in a lot of places in the real world - that the outward appearance and external trappings of 'professionalism' are valued more greatly than actual competence at the job.
@Brother Dude That's pretty funny... probably completely spinned it around on them. Had them feeling like they needed you more than you needed them. It's like when designer companies sell ordinary bullshit for tons of money making it exclusive, all of a sudden people desire it.
I just had my Annual Personal Development Review, for a job Ive been doing for three months. When asked what my goals were for the next 12 months I told them 'not dying, getting paid' My manager didn't even blink 'can you put that in a way that will fill the entire box?' Figuring no-one cares or reads these things; under Personal Achievements I may have taken credit for solving the Arab-Israeli conflict. It got signed off.

My boss called me to ask me when I would be back to doing my job after knee surgery. I had already been back for days doing my job, but he didn't know...because he hadn't bothered to come in for the last 2 or 3 weeks. These are the people who review our job performance.......
Middle and upper management can be a super sweet gig at a lot of companies. Higher pay, fewer demands on time, and much longer rope. I have seen upper management types come in late, leave early, take days off without informing anyone (except presumably the higher ups). It's like the entire concept of time management and penalties for not having their butt in a chair from 8am to 5pm are gone. All that is required for these positions is basic competency and soft skills - The biggest added stressor is having to sit in and contribute to regular meetings. Anybody with an ounce of charisma and drive can get into those spots with time, as long as they are likeable to the right people.
I have a boss who only really comes in so he can flirt with the time keeper and stare at her tits. She's been working from home for the last week, and our boss? Suddenly nowhere to be found, lol. Comes to work late (if at all) and then cuts out shortly after noon.
@@nene90047R1 You can do it if you're good at what you do. My old job had a policy where you had to get a doctors note if you were sick. I told them "well my policy is I stay home if I'm sick." They said "you have to do it!" I said "...nah." I never got asked for another doctors note again. Eventually left for another job that paid more.
@@aluisious where I worked before they had a policy that if you were put on the schedule to work on your scheduled day off you had to come in. I never showed up and they asked me why. I said it's my day off. Then they said well can you at least call to say you're not coming in. I said no, I dont have to, it's my day off. I eventually got promoted to supervisor, then production manager, then used my position to build up my resume and left for another company.
I recently left an office job and it came to a point where my only goal was to go just one day without someone moaning at me about something. This quote is amazing.

The funniest part is that the consultants are 100% correct. He *is* a straight shooter with upper management written all over him. He is very perceptive about inefficiencies *and* speaks out against them (albeit under piost-hypnotic suggestion). So yeah, this is a CEO in the making stuck coding.
Basically, this is what the movie is showing. This is why he has 8 different bosses........"upper management" here is basically DO NOTHING job......they should have had some scene where they mention this problem with damn "mandated promotions"......eventually they can't fire you if you worked long enough and they can't keep you in the same position, because....you know....syndicate rules....so the only thing the company can do is promote you, and you end up with 8 people having the same job, and since basically is a DO NOTHING job, the interaction in the company is not affected at all........
The problem is, they don't need more upper management positions. He already said he has 8 bosses. So it just illustrates the problem...here he is demotivated because of all the bosses hassling him...and they just want to make him another boss, when they already have way too many people in upper management. What they need is more hard workers who will make the money for the company, and less bosses. It just overall illustrates just how mismanaged the company is overall, and how the solutions only reinforce the problem.
nicolashrv it was certainly implied when the Bobs pulled out Bill Lumbergh’s file that his job was as much at stake as anyone else’s, but yeah, it would have been nice to see his interview too.

They must promote you after certain amount of years even if you don't deserve it, because of union policies. Watchers Review Everyone probably goes and and just talks about how they work hard and are good employees. Although he was lazy himself, he was the dream interviewee.
This is a brilliant script. This is exactly the type of stuff these management consultants want to hear. They want someone to tell them what the problems are - everyone else comes in and pretends that there are no problems. I hate to say this but this is exactly how it works with the big consulting firms.
The main purpose of a consultant is to impress the dude paying their invoice. Among other things, this means arriving fully suited up, acting very "professional" and dismissing the obvious; that there most likely are significant problems in upper management. Nobody is going to tell the truth to this kind of guy.
We had a consulting company come into my work to see what they could do to motivate us. Everyone had 4 managers, using outdated equipment etc. After $200,000 and interviews with everyone they left, company gets recommendations 3 weeks later. We accidentally all get a copy of the report. Everything that could have done which would of been free ( policy changes, only one manager interaction, ( no 4 on 1 ) less management and misc items like these were totally ignored! 3 years later corporate shut our site down for being too expensive to run. Now we had to login and out so we were doing the work, just too many managers and the GM paying for golf outings once a month for the entire management team.

Right on. I hope you don't absolutely NEED it to go on but whatever works! I love the attention to detail in this movie. In particular, I love how the color levels are very low/de-saturated to emphasize the drab office job in this scene.
After 8.5 years of working a corporate job, I can actually see how hire ups at my company would find this refreshing, and how this is actually more realistic than people realize.
His blunt honesty made their jobs a lot easier, someone actually having the balls to point out what’s wrong works great for them because that’s what they’re there to find. And it’s the same approach needed for upper management to keep a company productive. It definitely wasn’t just a funny movie joke this would most often be the real reaction from Bob types after encountering someone like Peter.
My coworker cited this movie increasingly over the years after seeing this movie, referring to our reports as TPS reports, quoting the "we weren't meant to live in cubicles like this" scene. He eventually walked out, jumped on the Appalachian Trail, didn't see him till next year. He's a changed man, and my Idol. He walks around with this content grin on his face. Cheers old friend.
I felt the same after 20 years at my retail job. While I didn't hike on any trails, or actually walk out(did the right thing and gave notice) I did leave with my fist raised a la Judd Nelson at the end of the Breakfast Club. I now work as a police dispatcher in my hometown. I love it. Never looking back.
McGinley was also in "Se7en," as the SWAT team leader. Ironically, between that movie and this one, it's a toss-up which one presents the more grim portrayal of modern life.

Had a boss named Rod but in my contacts he was douch Rod. A few months ago we were setting up work from home laptops and had to test phone lines, so he called me when he was right next to me and he saw his contact name xD he Just chuckled and laughed it off though. Not really a bad guy

I'm a night janitor at a government lab. I see 2 people in my 10 hour shift and communicate with my boss vie text or email. It's glorious!! No coworkers, no clients, no BS! Just me, my mop, and my podcasts! Living the dream!!
To be fair, they got some really good info from him. 1) 8 bosses on just one wageslave ? Wayy too much management, time to fire a few. 2) Only about 15 minutes of real work a day ? Potential for much more work out of this guy. 3) Motivation, obviously something they need to work on. 4) Lombard is so unpopular that he takes the sidedoor to avoid him - Fire Lombard. 5) TPS reports : A huge time waster in the company, including the covers. 6) No profit from working extra hours = no motivation, see #3. 7) The dude is so far past caring, that he might just be telling the truth!
I think they can't fire him since he was on treatment or some short, those meds just put the stress he got for job into something else, that's why his looks is different from any other of the office or why he just said those things
That "planning to Plan" on the generic flow chart on the wall is on point. There's so much garbage like that at the enterprise level of corporations. I once heard an Exec VP in a meeting say "We expect to exceed our expectations" and I glanced around the room but no one thought there was anything wrong with that statement. Everyone just sat there, eyes glazed over as he rambled on about q3 projections.
"Make a list of the lists you need to make today"..........that BS is the product of too many "university idiots" who want to do their experiments in the real world, thinking all behaves like in the books their read in the university.......In my former office, it was all about "POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS".......it was like....ok, I need to tell the employees to work faster, so a manager made a whole powerpoint presentation and pointing out with their lasers on the wall and wasted 5hs in the whole evening........can you just go and say "work faster, damn it!!"??? and waste 20 seconds of everyone's time??.

I ended a bad interview this way once...I needed a job, but not THAT job. Within a minute of seeing the way the boss treated his staff, and I mean full on abuse. Hostile work environment doesn't even do justice. So..."I'm gonna stop you right there, it's pretty clear that this job isn't for me because there's no way I'd put up with that." got up and left. Inexplicably, the a-hole called me to see if I would be interested in being a sales manager, go between for him (owner) and his sales staff. No thanks. Have fun running your business into the ground.

Saw this movie when I was a young IT lad; took a 3 hrs lunch break to watch it at the theater and nobody was the wiser because I wrote scripts to automate my tasks. Fun times!
1999 is one of my favorite years for movies due in particular to 4 movies. Office Space, Fight Club, The Matrix and American Beauty. They all deal with the same issue/tell essentially the same story, modern work and lifestyle, finding yourself and rebelling against society's norms. To me they are easily 4 of the best movies ever made and the issue they deal with is as relevant now as it was back then.
Falling Down and Clerks was the post-Cold War Recession early 90s movies. Office Space, The Office UK and The Matrix were late 90s dot-com boom, Record-profits-but-still-Downsizing 90s. You could see how the 90s economy and workplace changed watching those movies in order

Someone said it came down to 1999 being after several years of prosperity and stability, but boredom trapped behind a desk making people seek different wisdom and mindsets from around the world to change their minds. True story: After having a difficult year I was close to getting a burnout. On a Thursday afternoon I left the office an hour early without telling anyone just to give myself an extra hour of rest. Waking up the next day I realised I needed some more time and after thinking what an asshole my boss could be I didn't bother to call in sick. When Monday came, I decided to just not come to work at all and ignored all calls and texts. After a week I texted my boss that I wasn't feeling mentally well and continued ignoring him. After two more weeks I felt relaxed and rested and felled like I didn't care anymore if I was still on the payroll there or not. So I texted him if I could come by after the weekend and it gave me so much peace that I couldn't care less if he told me to fuck off or not. So I went back to my work that next Monday and in the 'meeting' they all set up they had no idea how to handle the situation of someone who wanted to get back to work but at the same time also didn't care if he got fired. I still work there, I work kinda hard, but I also say no when I don't feel like going the extra mile. I just don't care.
The guy has a point. Sometimes there ain't a real point in working hard at a lot of places. It won't get you promoted or a real raise. Most of the bonuses that they give you for doing extra work ain't really worth it. It is better to be in business for yourself because when you put in the extra effort it directly pays off in higher sales.
It's been my experience that most of the bonuses for doing extra work go to upper management. The person doing the work will be lucky to get a raise that covers cost-of-living increases.
As someone who's worked in an office setting for nearly 4 years I can honestly say... I've never had a video speak to me as much as this one does in my life

OMG! I didn't! Had to go back and see. It reminds me of a committee I was once on, and the dolt heading it sent recurring invitations for two weekly meetings. The first meeting was to put together the agenda for the second meeting. I'm sure I was just gaping at my screen, and then I laughed out loud and declined the agenda-setting meeting. Soon after, I heard the agenda-setting meetings had been cancelled. Embarrassment? Mass revolt? Not sure.
Literally my favorite movie ever. I don't even watch movies all that much but this one I can quote beginning to end. I even did my senior thesis for my undergrad based more or less on "Horrible Bosses" and how to promote morale based on Office Space...thank you Mike Judge and crew for keeping the workplace real for almost 20 years!!!!
biggest eye opener of my last job was the internal system that had a "I have 8 bosses" badge you got on your profile when you literally had 8 bosses. I love this movie, and the horrible "ironic" badge absolutely killed my motivation for work. I quit last June.
Good for you brother. Always pursue your happiness over money and benefits. Realistically, you might get another job you dont like. But I think careers are like spouses you need to try a few until you find one that you genuinely like. I dream of one day having a job where I'm happy to wake up in the morning, but alas, I dont even know what I like or want to do

This is the greatest scene ever filmed. Everything about it is perfect. Like a lot of other people, it seems, I re-watch Office Space every year or two. Now that I'm retired, it rings even more true. It's so insightful it sometimes makes me cry. Look what they're doing to us.
This is one of my favorite scenes in the film, mainly because Peter is controlling this meeting from the beginning. This scene hits home, because, Peter is right.
I also like the fact that the Bobs are actually competent consultants, realizing what a gem Peter is and offering a promotion instead of firing him. They also tackle other real problems and even go hard on Lumbergh. The juxtaposition is so great, Initech is so inefficient that, of all people, the CONSULTANTS are the most efficient people in the building ...
This movie came out the year I graduated high school, and completely shaped how I would approach work life. I only work hard enough to not get fired or hassled by my bosses. (I said bosses, plural. I have 3) and I gotta say, im pretty happy! Thanks, Mike Judge!
Always loved this scene. I've never really worked in an office environment, but I can still totally relate. I was in charge of production (and shipping, and logistics, and planning, etc) for a company and the owner was a complete moron. His idea of efficiency was working with as few people as possible and push everyone to their limits, then complain when goals weren't hit. I put my foot down with him and told him I wasn't going to do things that way because it just didn't work. The day I was pulled off to the side after a meeting and told "I didn't do enough" was the day I decided I was done. I told others what I was told and they were in shock. I found another job a few months later (doing less work for the same money) and put in my two weeks and they went into panic mode. They offered me about a 35% pay increase to stay and I told them I was good. I let the guys (outside of upper management) know if they needed any help with anything after I left to call me. I didn't want to screw them over because of ownership dumbassery. I got several calls, and some were for help while others were telling me about the disasters evolving. Long story short, more people started leaving, and the company folded shortly after.
It's strange how the company can offer you a 35% increase in pay once you put in your two week notice but can't afford that much if you ask for a raise.
@@ericoxford7069 That was their game. The real sad part was the guy they got rid when they knew I could pretty much run everything was making over twice my pay, but they didn't even offer a pay increase even though they were now saving his salary.

I have been in construction (mostly plumbing fo commercial/industrial/institutional) and I can tell you flat out I have seen it happen and had it happen to me when I made it into the office briefly. I can believe there are stories people would swear were made up, because they can't believe people would be ways that would actively work against themselves.

I watched this movie a couple of months ago for the first time. I was so delighted. Having been working at an office, I see nothing has changed in twenty years regarding the culture in big corps.
In a job I had about 20 yrs ago, I had 2 bosses. One would tell me to do one thing, and the other boss would tell me to do something else entirely different. The day that they got into a yelling and screaming match.......and almost came to blows just outside my office door.........was GOLDEN!

When I worked as a tech writer for Corrections Dept. of our State Government (no less) we had a guy on payroll who, after some reorganization, had no job description. He was in my department, reading novels, writing his memoirs, and laying low all day. Everyone liked him, and he'd run errands, make coffee, help with editing. Had a Master's in Criminal Justice. I think he did about 1 hour of real work each week. So no, this is not a parody.
As a child this was comedy. As an adult this is life.

I once had 2 bosses who hated each other and weren’t on speaking terms. When 1 asked me to do something, I just told them I was doing something for the other boss. I kept this up for 8 months until 1 of the bosses left.

Middle and upper management can be a super sweet gig at a lot of companies. Higher pay, fewer demands on time, and much longer rope. I have seen upper management types come in late, leave early, take days off without informing anyone (except presumably the higher ups). It's like the entire concept of time management and penalties for not having their butt in a chair from 8am to 5pm are gone. All that is required for these positions is basic competency and soft skills - The biggest added stressor is having to sit in and contribute to regular meetings. Anybody with an ounce of charisma and drive can get into those spots with time, as long as they are likeable to the right people.
I have a boss who only really comes in so he can flirt with the time keeper and stare at her tits. She's been working from home for the last week, and our boss? Suddenly nowhere to be found, lol. Comes to work late (if at all) and then cuts out shortly after noon.

They said "you have to do it!" I said "...nah." I never got asked for another doctors note again. Eventually left for another job that paid more.

I said it's my day off. Then they said well can you at least call to say you're not coming in. I said no, I dont have to, it's my day off. I eventually got promoted to supervisor, then production manager, then used my position to build up my resume and left for another company.

The funniest part is that the consultants are 100% correct. He *is* a straight shooter with upper management written all over him. He is very perceptive about inefficiencies *and* speaks out against them (albeit under piost-hypnotic suggestion). So yeah, this is a CEO in the making stuck coding.
Basically, this is what the movie is showing. This is why he has 8 different bosses........"upper management" here is basically DO NOTHING job......they should have had some scene where they mention this problem with damn "mandated promotions"......eventually they can't fire you if you worked long enough and they can't keep you in the same position, because....you know....syndicate rules....so the only thing the company can do is promote you, and you end up with 8 people having the same job, and since basically is a DO NOTHING job, the interaction in the company is not affected at all........
The problem is, they don't need more upper management positions. He already said he has 8 bosses. So it just illustrates the problem...here he is demotivated because of all the bosses hassling him...and they just want to make him another boss, when they already have way too many people in upper management. What they need is more hard workers who will make the money for the company, and less bosses. It just overall illustrates just how mismanaged the company is overall, and how the solutions only reinforce the problem.

This is a brilliant script. This is exactly the type of stuff these management consultants want to hear. They want someone to tell them what the problems are - everyone else comes in and pretends that there are no problems. I hate to say this but this is exactly how it works with the big consulting firms.
The main purpose of a consultant is to impress the dude paying their invoice. Among other things, this means arriving fully suited up, acting very "professional" and dismissing the obvious; that there most likely are significant problems in upper management. Nobody is going to tell the truth to this kind of guy.
We had a consulting company come into my work to see what they could do to motivate us. Everyone had 4 managers, using outdated equipment etc. After $200,000 and interviews with everyone they left, company gets recommendations 3 weeks later.
We accidentally all get a copy of the report. Everything that could have done which would of been free ( policy changes, only one manager interaction, ( no 4 on 1 ) less management and misc items like these were totally ignored! 3 years later corporate shut our site down for being too expensive to run. Now we had to login and out so we were doing the work, just too many managers and the GM paying for golf outings once a month for the entire management team.

He often seems to take cheeseball parts, but he was excellent in Platoon.

When he says Peter is potential management material and Lundberg mentions the TPS reports Peter messed up McGinley's reaction was kino.
McGinley was also in "Se7en," as the SWAT team leader. Ironically, between that movie and this one, it's a toss-up which one presents the more grim portrayal of modern life.

Inexplicably, the a-hole called me to see if I would be interested in being a sales manager, go between for him (owner) and his sales staff. No thanks. Have fun running your business into the ground.

1999 is one of my favorite years for movies due in particular to 4 movies. Office Space, Fight Club, The Matrix and American Beauty.
They all deal with the same issue/tell essentially the same story, modern work and lifestyle, finding yourself and rebelling against society's norms. To me they are easily 4 of the best movies ever made and the issue they deal with is as relevant now as it was back then.

True story: After having a difficult year I was close to getting a burnout. On a Thursday afternoon I left the office an hour early without telling anyone just to give myself an extra hour of rest. Waking up the next day I realised I needed some more time and after thinking what an asshole my boss could be I didn't bother to call in sick. When Monday came, I decided to just not come to work at all and ignored all calls and texts. After a week I texted my boss that I wasn't feeling mentally well and continued ignoring him. After two more weeks I felt relaxed and rested and felled like I didn't care anymore if I was still on the payroll there or not. So I texted him if I could come by after the weekend and it gave me so much peace that I couldn't care less if he told me to fuck off or not. So I went back to my work that next Monday and in the 'meeting' they all set up they had no idea how to handle the situation of someone who wanted to get back to work but at the same time also didn't care if he got fired. I still work there, I work kinda hard, but I also say no when I don't feel like going the extra mile. I just don't care.
It cuts off right before the best bit when Peter walks straight pass Lumbergh that bit kills me everytime.

The guy has a point. Sometimes there ain't a real point in working hard at a lot of places. It won't get you promoted or a real raise. Most of the bonuses that they give you for doing extra work ain't really worth it. It is better to be in business for yourself because when you put in the extra effort it directly pays off in higher sales.
It's been my experience that most of the bonuses for doing extra work go to upper management. The person doing the work will be lucky to get a raise that covers cost-of-living increases.

OMG! I didn't! Had to go back and see. It reminds me of a committee I was once on, and the dolt heading it sent recurring invitations for two weekly meetings. The first meeting was to put together the agenda for the second meeting. I'm sure I was just gaping at my screen, and then I laughed out loud and declined the agenda-setting meeting. Soon after, I heard the agenda-setting meetings had been cancelled. Embarrassment? Mass revolt? Not sure.
Literally my favorite movie ever. I don't even watch movies all that much but this one I can quote beginning to end. I even did my senior thesis for my undergrad based more or less on "Horrible Bosses" and how to promote morale based on Office Space...thank you Mike Judge and crew for keeping the workplace real for almost 20 years!!!!

biggest eye opener of my last job was the internal system that had a "I have 8 bosses" badge you got on your profile when you literally had 8 bosses. I love this movie, and the horrible "ironic" badge absolutely killed my motivation for work. I quit last June.
Good for you brother. Always pursue your happiness over money and benefits. Realistically, you might get another job you dont like. But I think careers are like spouses you need to try a few until you find one that you genuinely like. I dream of one day having a job where I'm happy to wake up in the morning, but alas, I dont even know what I like or want to do

My last job was basically a pretentious hellhole where you had high risks of getting panic attacks within two years. before this time i resolved begining to work on my dad business because he noticed how bad i was feeling. i have th pleasure to be like the relaxing guy on the movie for about 3 months until i quit. all bosses hated me hard. sorry for my english

This is the greatest scene ever filmed. Everything about it is perfect. Like a lot of other people, it seems, I re-watch Office Space every year or two. Now that I'm retired, it rings even more true. It's so insightful it sometimes makes me cry. Look what they're doing to us.
This is one of my favorite scenes in the film, mainly because Peter is controlling this meeting from the beginning. This scene hits home, because, Peter is right.
I also like the fact that the Bobs are actually competent consultants, realizing what a gem Peter is and offering a promotion instead of firing him. They also tackle other real problems and even go hard on Lumbergh. The juxtaposition is so great, Initech is so inefficient that, of all people, the CONSULTANTS are the most efficient people in the building ...

Funny thing is as a personal rule of thumb, when I hear that laugh too many times, it's a sign for me to look for another job.
This movie came out the year I graduated high school, and completely shaped how I would approach work life. I only work hard enough to not get fired or hassled by my bosses. (I said bosses, plural. I have 3) and I gotta say, im pretty happy! Thanks, Mike Judge!
Always loved this scene. I've never really worked in an office environment, but I can still totally relate. I was in charge of production (and shipping, and logistics, and planning, etc) for a company and the owner was a complete moron. His idea of efficiency was working with as few people as possible and push everyone to their limits, then complain when goals weren't hit. I put my foot down with him and told him I wasn't going to do things that way because it just didn't work.
The day I was pulled off to the side after a meeting and told "I didn't do enough" was the day I decided I was done. I told others what I was told and they were in shock. I found another job a few months later (doing less work for the same money) and put in my two weeks and they went into panic mode. They offered me about a 35% pay increase to stay and I told them I was good. I let the guys (outside of upper management) know if they needed any help with anything after I left to call me. I didn't want to screw them over because of ownership dumbassery. I got several calls, and some were for help while others were telling me about the disasters evolving.
Long story short, more people started leaving, and the company folded shortly after.
It's strange how the company can offer you a 35% increase in pay once you put in your two week notice but can't afford that much if you ask for a raise.
@@ericoxford7069 That was their game. The real sad part was the guy they got rid when they knew I could pretty much run everything was making over twice my pay, but they didn't even offer a pay increase even though they were now saving his salary.

I am the other end of the spectrum. I have been in construction (mostly plumbing fo commercial/industrial/institutional) and I can tell you flat out I have seen it happen and had it happen to me when I made it into the office briefly.
I can believe there are stories people would swear were made up, because they can't believe people would be ways that would actively work against themselves.

It's one of my favorite parts of the whole movie. It's the one part that still makes me chuckle out loud.
It's like he can't fathom that somebody would just space out for 7.5 hours because they don't have anything else to do. Discovering just how much of a "bullshit job" this place is. The utter disbelief that someone would go through this every Monday through Friday and still be sane. It's what a majority of the population does. Make it look like you're busy so you don't get fired.
I watched this movie a couple of months ago for the first time. I was so delighted. Having been working at an office, I see nothing has changed in twenty years regarding the culture in big corps.

In a job I had about 20 yrs ago, I had 2 bosses. One would tell me to do one thing, and the other boss would tell me to do something else entirely different. The day that they got into a yelling and screaming match.......and almost came to blows just outside my office door.........was GOLDEN!
