Превосходная реакция; блестящий комментарий. После лёгких сомнений, с которыми он слушал "Wicked Game", он неизбежно пришёл к полному восторгу перед этим феноменальным талантом. Хорошо, что он не фокусировался на вокальной технике, а больше говорил об эстетической стороне этого представления, и в особенности, о её артистизме: движении, жестах, мимике, глазах. "Тревожный, беспокоящий" взгляд; улыбка, одновременно и "горькая, и сладкая". Самое важное для меня замечание - о "двойственности". Он один из немногих, кто разглядел этот контраст, это противоречие, которое лежит не только в основе многих её представлений - как в вокальной, так и в визуальной части, - но и находится в основе её глубинной природы, а стало быть, в основе таланта. Она превосходно умеет использовать эти контрасты, создавая сложные, многомерные звуковые и визуальные образы, - не свойственные общепринятой, мейнстримной поп-музыке. Она как будто берёт у природы эти сложные, таинственные, мистические звуки, эти образы с непривычной, загадочной красотой - и показывает нам через них настоящую сложность, противоречивость человека: страдание и радость, светлое и тёмное, всю полноту человеческих чувств, все оттенки эмоций. "Вокальная зрелость, которая выходит за рамки, которая труднодостижима" - итоговая характеристика, к которой я только могу присоединиться...

About the song "Rechenka": This is an old ritual song about an orphan bride. The girl has no parents. The river was considered the boundary between the world of the living and the dead. She goes to the river and asks for the blessing of marriage. She says that there are many people at home, but there is no father and mother. You hear Diana singing in a whisper. These are the words of the deceased mother of the bride. Then the girl is crying. In Russia, at weddings they sang sad songs to scare away evil and the marriage of a young couple was to be happy. Such songs were called “weeping.” The figures behind Diana are spirits of water and forest.
One video of Diana's, in my sight, is a total masterpiece the like of which I don't remember ever seeing before in my long life. It's a must see for anyone that loves singing with unending emotion. The background of the song is essential to know. The title of the song is "Ornery (or "Fastidious" or "Finicky") Horses". The song has nothing to do with horses in reality - the horses are being used as a metaphor for life. The author of song is begging the horses to slow down (he is aware he is approaching death), but, at the same time he is whipping them along (his chaotic lifestyle) - he knows that his lifestyle is taking him to an early death, however, he is unable to change it.....the composer of the song, Vladimir Vysotsky, was a singer-songwriter, poet, and actor as well as an alcoholic & drug addict and died in 1980 at the age of 42. ruclips.net/video/lu8iW9BcWmY/видео.html . Non è proprio una canzone, è una raccolta di diverse canzoni di rito popolare (matrimonio). Una giovane ragazza orfana, si ritira sulla riva del fiume, poiché è in subbuglio alla vigilia del suo matrimonio. Nella voce di Diana si sentono ed echi nella foresta notturna sulla riva del fiume e singhiozzi dell'eroina e terrori notturni nell'oscurità.

Ты почувствовал эту песню правильно. Вся песня выстроена на полутонах. Девушка изображает радость, но на самом деле в отчаянии. Вокализ - то ли смех, то ли рыдания. И финал открытый. То ли она просто поплакалась реке, то ли утопилась... Диана спела филигранно. Это не только отличная вокальная работа, это ещё и великолепное актерское исполнение.

Еще это очень похоже на мелодии колыбельных (есть тоже такие грустные, плачущие). Не знаю, есть ли похожее у других народов, но вот в русских песнях в колыбельных много таких переходов. Но вот так собрать как это сделала Диана (и ее руководитель) - это супер, конечно.

For me this is an effect her story she went through a terrible childhood I'm so glad that she's been able to turn it into Beauty. She goes to the river to talk to her mother because she is to be married and she has no one to give her away because she's an orphan I think those creatures are her only friends and I think that she goes to the river a lot and finally they take her away. I think it's a real River and I think it is the river of life and death at the same time. Thank you thank you thank you for doing this

I have watched Diana Ankudinova do this amazing performance at least 600 times😁 Not sure what the vocal coaches call it, but l love that little vocal flip that Diana does sometimes at the end of a sustained note and l don't think that I've heard any other singer do that! В детстве она пережила столько, сколько не каждый взрослый переживет...Ее биологическая мать была жестока, била ее...Ее бросили на улице - совсем крошку. Девочка плохо говорила и ее приемная мама, ставшая самой родной, отвела ее в хор по рекомендации логопеда ( она стояла за кулисами и переживала за дочку)....
Диана нужна этому миру, поэтому высшие силы спасли ее от зверя, в женском обличии, у которой до Дианы умерло несколько малышей... Девочка очень боялась, что биологическая мать ее заберёт, что упросила приемную маму уехать из города, где родилась...Страх не отпускал ее долгие годы, только после конкурса она поверила в себя, в свои силы и успокоилась...Проект помог ей, ее историю узнала вся страна...
Потрясающая девочка и потрясающая приемная мама и старшие дети приемной мамы, ставшие для Дианы самыми лучшими братом и сестрой.... Эта семья сделала все, чтобы девочка стала такой, какой она и является: доброй, умной, любящей, трудолюбивой и не зазвездившейся....Спасибо ее близким за замечательную и талантливую Диану, их поддержка помогла Диане стать такой..., ну и боженька поцеловал ее, как сказал знаменитый композитор и продюссер Игорь Крутой. Его песни исполняла Лара Фабиан, она дружна с композитором...Диана на конкурсе тоже исполнила его песню из репертуара Лары под аккомпанемент автора... Исполнила прекрасно, как всегда, пропустив через себя и до мурашек у всех, кто слушал!!!! Наша королева мурашек - Диана Анкудинова!!!
I may have have watched this performance 600 times but this vocal coach, Giacomo, has shown me so many new things in his first viewing that I begin to wonder if I have ever truly "seen" this or have I just been perfunctorily watching? Of course I know that this is world class, that Diana Ankudinova does many different things in the song that others wouldn't even think of let alone attempt but even so there are so many nuances in it that I feel, hope, that there is a lifetime of viewing ahead of me to fully comprehend this awesome performance by an even more awesome performer. For a better description of my reaction to this video and Diana's performance than I as a fan and viewer could give see the comment by Михаил Оплеснин, this guy has a beautiful way with words (even through somewhat flaky translators).

действительно превосходное выступление Дианы. В таком юном возрасте она так тонко смогла уловить магию и смысл песни - отчаявшейся девушки - сироты , обращающейся к своему дитю , скорее всего не живому уже, судя по мороку вокруг нее...что отлично здесь передает хореография и мистические огни вокруг. Девушка аукает, зовет свое дитя...Возможно она была обманута и ребенок даже еще не родился .На Руси девушки приходили к реке чтобы рассказать о беде ...или уйти так вот из жизни , дойдя до отчаяния
Улыбка и живость на грани сумасшедствия - припев и финал - морок уносит Диану ...лодку относит от берега. Песня по сути очень трагична
Вряд ли песню можно считать фольклерной, но атмосферность и славянский колорит - на все 100%!
Всегда восхищаюсь как Диана , не являясь этническиой русской так великолепно исполняет подобные номера !

Riflettò talento il significato della canzone: una ragazza - un orfano condivide i suoi sentimenti con un fiume, che scorre tranquillamente. Canzone popolare vecchia di centinaia di anni,dove Rechenka (fiume) rappresenta il confine tra il mondo dei vivi e quello dei morti.
Se ti fa piacere conoscere Diana (in privato) ti consiglio di ascoltare due brani,melodicamente improponibili ma magnificamente espressivi.

I will explain to you the meaning of this old Russian song that was sung during the wedding. Since a much shortened version was made for the modern stage, not even all Russian people understand its meaning. An orphan girl from a foster family is married off (most likely, to a man older than her and not of her own free will). She comes to the river (reka), affectionately calling it rechenka. The river in the folklore of many peoples is the border between the world of the living and the dead. She turns to her deceased parents: she asks for advice and blessings. An orphan girl is faced with a choice - to drown herself, committing the sin of suicide, or still accept the circumstances and "go with the flow". What will she choose? This is decided by the audience together with the performer of this song.

In 2018 Diana first sang this song in the singing competition 'You are super' (she was 14 years old).
This international TV competition is unique in the world and was specially developed for adopted and orphaned children. It is designed not only to give positive emotions to children who do not have a prosperous childhood, but also to hope for changes in their destiny.
Diana entered the competition 'You are Super!' in 2018 and 2019 and won twice. The winner of the season will be determined by a 6-day public vote and the final took place in the Kremlin Palace and her videos were uploaded to RUclips and soon she had millions of fans.
The project producers help the finalists start studying and encourage their creativity. Diana won a scholarship to the College of Music. Igor Krutoy, as a juror, gave her a small apartment in Moscow.
