REVENGE OF THE NINJA is a Sega CD port of the 1992 Japanese arcade FMV QTE game NINJA HAYATE, released 1994 by Wolf Team. You are in control of Hayate, a young ninja trying to rescue the princess from the evil Lougi and his henchmen. The title is yet another animated movie with gameplay similar to Readysoft classics such as DRAGON'S LAIR or SPACE ACE. Despite it being a late title for the Sega CD, the video quality is unfortunately quite lacking.
Note: Level order is picked randomly by the game.
This longplay is a no death run. It was recorded via emulation on PC.

Keine Ahnung wieviel es damals gekostet hat, aber um fair zu sein: viele Spiele von früher, gerade wenn sie ursprünglich von den Automaten kamen, dauerten kaum länger als 30 Mins bis 1 Stunde wenn man sie beherrscht hat. Ich glaube man muss den Weg dahin, bis man das Spiel in 20 Minuten durchschafft, auch dazuzählen...dann sitzt man schon bißchen länger dran :)

i had this for sega cd and it is just unbearable to watch anymore. bleck. I enjoyed sega cd, but this game and Time Gal were pretty terrible dragon's lair clones.

I don't want to undermine its importance, but personally, I think Dragon's Lair is immensely overrated. In fact, it might be my least favorite of all of the FMV quick time event games out there... it's just an absolutely frustrating and unfair experience from start to finish and compared to games like Brain Dead 13 not even that funny to watch. RotN is at least somewhat fair and playable (plus I actually like most of its scenarios/scenes). It's not great but I also don't understand why it gets so much hate.

dragon's lair is the worst thing to try and clone. no one wants any more of that quarter sucking bs, especially when you're at home on your couch.
