This was a great museum in the fact that there was enough information to keep you interested, but not so much that you couldn't read everything in a couple hours. They didn't over do it which is nice!
Wow great museum video! Ive lived in NS my whole life and i have never been to Cape Breton! Ive been pretty much everywhere else in NS but there sadly to say because I hear so many great things about it. I will make it there and do the Cabot Trail one day :) thanks for sharing I never knew those things about Alexander Graham Bell. Great Video :)I learned that he was really into land speed records. Until next time my friend have an awesome day :) Cheers!
Thanks Adam! I've only been there a couple times, but it really is one of those places you'll have to see for yourself. You'll see in the next 4-5 videos that we spent some time up there, did some great hikes, and of course, drove around the whole trail. AGB was a man into a lot of things! I learned so much about him.
As soon as you get to Cape Breton things start getting pretty. Hope you'll be able to follow along as the next 3 or 4 videos I believe are from that trip - and the views get better and better. Ha! Nothing like putting your friends on the spot and they freeze up! Either that or they learned nothing!
This area is very beautiful as you will see. We wanted to start the trip off with some learning, so this place was a lot of fun to visit.

Josh this is one awesome video. What a great museum to visit and yes Alexander Graham Bell was a fascinating character. Lovely to see some of his stuff being exhibited. Thanks for the share and have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks for reminding me of a bike tour of the Cabot Trail 25 years ago. This place was great. But you remind me also to never ask "what did you learn?" from your travel companions. Finally Bell was amazing and Baddeck was such a part of it.
You'll get to see a lot more of the trail here soon to bring back those memories! The trail is fantastic. Hahaha, they deserve being put on the spot like that :p
No laughing or fun on YT. And it better be perfect! No redo! HAHA! AG Bell was quite a dude! He had a great mind and used it to make things better for all. Ebjoyed the video and the blooper at the end.
That's right! No fun Josh! Hahaha, we had a blast on this whole trip, including this stop! AGB was a really interesting man. He really did accomplish a lot in his life. I have never been here prior, so I learned so much about him.
Thank you! We have actually just filmed a new version of this that will be out next year. I think you're really going to like that one a lot more! Tons of info in it about the Bell family and the site.
Alright made it to the Island. So beautiful there...love driving there as well. Oh yeah rocking the Muskoka Chairs. Alexander Graham Bell Museum looked very cool!! Ton of great info there on this creator. Great vid.
Yup, step one completed! Made it to the island, lol. The drive there is beautiful. So many lakes, and then once you get to the calbot trail, the views are so pretty for awhile! The museum was great! It was my first time there. That man was involved with so much stuff. Unreal.
Great visit to the museum! Would love to visit one day. Didn't know he liked aviation and speed records! Awesome artifacts and Lol on the commentary and What did we learn question! Thumbs up 38
My brother! Congratulations on 600 subscribers! You went from 500 to 600 like super fast this time. Very well deserved for all the hard work you put into this. Anyways Josh thanks for educating me once again. I knew absolutely nothing about Alexander Graham Bell and now I do.
Thanks so much! Those have been long coming. That being said, I think I may be hit by a bot in the last 48 hours or so, though since one of my videos has been striking gold with views and I've been getting subs like crazy. I'm not sure what to do (sent RUclips feedback on the button) and such, but I'be never experienced something like this. So this latest bunch of subs may not be warranted! This was a cool spot though! I learned a ton about him.
Yeah, I don't think so. It went from 1.5k legit views to 60k views in 2 days, lol. And as you can tell, 200 subs have been added since then, so something isn't right, lol. Not sure what I can do about it though, so at the moment I am just letting it ride.
Hi Josh, an interesting museum, and Alexander Graham Bell was an interesting man. It looks like he pursued varied interests besides the telephone he is renowned for. Thanks for sharing.
Great tour around the museum Josh! That's a big size for that goat's head. Glad to found a traveller like us too! Keep it up and cheers to travelling 😃
A very interesting video, it was a pleasure to watch it. Pleasant presentation! I confess that I did not know so much about Graham Bell, so, thank you (teacher) for your so informative video! :) I wish you a good day! 👍
I didn't know very much about him either! We learn that he created the telephone, but I didn't know he was involved in so much more than that. It was very interesting to learn and I am glad I could share it!
This place was very neat. AGB did a lot of things that I didn't know. I think a lot of people learn that he invented the phone, but they don't touch much on some of the other things he did!
Looked a real cool museum, real interesting look around and you all seemed to enjoyed yourselves, which is always good to see. Oh, nice to see that it is not only me that gets muddled up lol! Cheers Alan
It was! We are going back next month to visit the area again and visiting this museum. You'll have the chance to see a new version of this and see if it's any better than the original!
Haha love it! I always space out on those "what is one thing you learned" or "tell me 5 words the describe you" questions. Which turns out I really am awful at interviews lol. Thanks for sharing the adventure, looks like you all had fun :) - Shane
Hahaha, yup - love how everyone just blanked out. Shows the truth in situations like that! This was a fun trip - the next handful of videos will be about this trip, so I am excited to share that with you.
That's right! No fun on my watch!! This whole trip was a blast! We always try and learn something on our trips, so we wanted to start out here. A really nice museum with some great exhibits!
Those planes were very cool! I wasn't expecting them as I had no idea he was interested in that stuff! But I guess that's why we go to places like this - to learn!
Hahaha, the long pause, lol. I can't recall now what his experiments involved. It wasn't like cutting them open and finding out things though. I wasn't that kind of person, lol.
It is a beautiful place! I have a bunch of videos out that showcase some of what we offer here, and then a handful coming out next of our continued trip in the northern part (Cape Breton)
So interesting museum! I remember we studied about Alexander Graham Bells during highschool years & then I saw this museum through you. Thanks for sharing! Btw, you were sitting comfortably on that red chair, Was it a tiring day? haha!
This was a man that did a lot with his life! It was neat to be able to learn more about him. HAhaha, it was nice to relax. That was after a 5 hour drive or so to get there.
This was a really cool museum - he was involved with a lot of things! I bet he never saw RUclips coming, but I'm glad he did the work that he did! Amazing.
Yep, the province has a lot to offer. This is probably 3-4 hours away from the city, so it's not something I would get to do often, but it made for a nice trip out this way!
In my classic American ethnocentric mind, I always thought Bell was from the States! You sure all that is true? :) Actually, you were quite the corrective teacher at the end! :) Nice narration. You are hitting the sites, my friend!
He was born where I was born! And on the same day (not year obviously). Two whole facts I knew about him ~ born March 3rd in Edinburgh, Scotland - whoooohooo - me too!
Haha Randy! You know, we have the same thing happen here, but we also believe everyone is from the states, lol. I guess we figure if someone is important enough to learn about (on this side of the planet) they are from the US, or did something in the US. I don't think I knew he was Scottish prior to this.
He is from Scotland, but spent a lot of time here near the end of his life. He left Scotland to come to Nova Scotia's actual translated name of "New Scotland"! Very fitting.
He had his hands in everything! I can't recall exactly what he did with the sheep (this was 7 months ago) but he performed all kinds of experiments! They weren't evil experiments or anything :p
So my favorite AGB facts (that correlate to HSD facts) are (drum roll please): we were both born in Edinburgh, Scotland on March 3rd! But many, many years apart. He did die in Nova Scotia. So I guess I will need to head towards Nova Scotia when I feel I a getting close to my end...? ;)
That makes sense to me! And if you didn't know, Nova Scotia means New Scotland. Maybe he chose here because it was the newest version of his home country!
Thank you for sharing. Very interesting and we can learn a lot from museums like this. Have a good weekend.
This was a great museum in the fact that there was enough information to keep you interested, but not so much that you couldn't read everything in a couple hours. They didn't over do it which is nice!

I’m from cape breton :)
We visit his museum in school!
That is a really cool museum. The views driving were great. What did everyone learn today? Eyes scatter and pin drops in the background.
As soon as you get to Cape Breton things start getting pretty. Hope you'll be able to follow along as the next 3 or 4 videos I believe are from that trip - and the views get better and better. Ha! Nothing like putting your friends on the spot and they freeze up! Either that or they learned nothing!
Great scenery along the road trip, interesting museum with great history! liked!
This area is very beautiful as you will see. We wanted to start the trip off with some learning, so this place was a lot of fun to visit.

Thank you so much! He was very amazing. He was involved with way more than I ever though. He lived a very busy life by the sound of it!
Thanks for reminding me of a bike tour of the Cabot Trail 25 years ago. This place was great. But you remind me also to never ask "what did you learn?" from your travel companions. Finally Bell was amazing and Baddeck was such a part of it.

Josh the Travel Guy oh wow that is crazy. Let just hope it's all legit!
Yeah, I really learned a lot about the guy! I didn't realize he was so involved in other things. He must have been a busy man!
I dint know those things about hearing inpared contributions. Interesting josh and had some fun as well. LOL
I also didn't know that he had his hand in so many different things. He was quite the inventor!
This was fun to watch. Seems like I didn't know much about Alexander Graham Bell too. Learnt a lot here
Welcome to the club! We didn't know anything going into it!
Great tour around the museum Josh! That's a big size for that goat's head. Glad to found a traveller like us too! Keep it up and cheers to travelling 😃

The museum was great! He was involved with a lot more than I ever thought! And yes, we all get muddled up, that's for sure!
Great museum to visit! nice trip!
Thanks! There is a lot to be learned there for sure. I know I learned a lot!
always Nice video and giving you like and support.
The start to a great trip! Lots of new information at this place.
Very interesting museum! Thanks Josh!
Glad you enjoyed it! I know I learned a lot walking through here!
Great vid!! Interesting museum...knew Bell was Scottish, but never realised his affiliation with Canada!!....that's what I learned today!! :-))
Ha! Well you learned more than the rest of the people I went with :p
Josh the Travel Guy 😂😂
Thats an interesting museum Josh! 👍
It was! We are going back next month to visit the area again and visiting this museum. You'll have the chance to see a new version of this and see if it's any better than the original!

Sheep...Experiments? Ha Ha.Thanks for sharing, look forward to the next one.
Hahaha, the long pause, lol. I can't recall now what his experiments involved. It wasn't like cutting them open and finding out things though. I wasn't that kind of person, lol.
Love the red benches at the beginning! Looks a cool museum, thanks for sharing 😀
Yes, all our National Parks have those Red chairs. The museum was really cool! Lots to see and do and explore.
Nice! Another great video
Thanks so much! This is a wonderful museum with a ton to learn about! AGB was a very interesting man.
Nice video. I would like to visit Nova Scotia sometime soon.
It is a beautiful place! I have a bunch of videos out that showcase some of what we offer here, and then a handful coming out next of our continued trip in the northern part (Cape Breton)
Awesome, sweet tour! Did the museum say if Alexander, like Ma Bell, had the ill communication? ;) hahaha Thanks for the getaway, very fun video!
This was an awesome place to check out! Hahaha, no they didn't mention anything about that :p
Just perfect video 👌 nice haircut!!!
Thanks so much! This was a fun video to make. Haha thanks! I try and get it cut before any trip so that it has a chance to grow out while I'm away!
such a great place!
Yes it really is! I learned a ton of stuff while I was at this museum. They really did a great job with it.
Awesome experience. Laughed at the one thing you’ve learned 😂
Thanks so much! It was a really fun day. Hahaha, yeah, talk about blanking! It was too funny not to include. No one knew what to say at all.
Nice museum! Like 39 :)
Best wishes!
Thank you! There is a lot to learn about Bell, and this museum does a great job presenting that information!
So interesting museum! I remember we studied about Alexander Graham Bells during highschool years & then I saw this museum through you. Thanks for sharing! Btw, you were sitting comfortably on that red chair, Was it a tiring day? haha!

This was a really cool museum - he was involved with a lot of things! I bet he never saw RUclips coming, but I'm glad he did the work that he did! Amazing.
Interesting place to visit, 👌
Yes it was! I learned a lot about Bell. So many things he did that I had no idea.
brilliant
One thing for sure you have plenty to do in your area great video
