Whenever i replace broken t straps i clip them back in but also on the strap us a hole i usually drill a small hole & use screws incase the t strap ever was to unclip itself from The barrel 👍🏻
Hi! I have a different problem, my girlfriend came by and she closed them a bit to fast and they rolled up in that box thing, now they're just there and I've been having this war with them and they just can't seem to go back down, I can't open the box thing because it's on the outside and I live on the fifth floor...no possible way to open them with a screw... how do I repair them? Please help
@@fixanddrive Thanks for the help, I Ordered and received one today, although had an issue with drilling those rivets, they don't seem to be ripping off or won't get drilled in. Not sure what's going wrong but I will try and then seek help if needed.

Me too - I thought "damn, I don't want to drill those out if there's actually a little clip or catch or something that I've missed"... seems not

You need to get a rivet tool. It's cheap

Much prefer to use screws when re fitting the hood canopy back on as much easier to remove in the future

At least use a 3.2mm drill, so rivet can reset itself on cover!!!
