one says disable spoof, the other says enable + clear cache/data then restart but nothing works for long

Yes, I have this too. It happens with both Revanced and the stock RUclips app. The only youtube videos I can play are through RUclips online/in-browser.
@@TCBElvisAPresley I figured a way around this specific problem. I'd watch a video then exit after a few seconds - then I'd open history and watch the video there with little to no trouble

I am having the same issue, I can assume for those people who have commented below, and those who will, of still not having resolved the issue despite, 'must be running Android version below 7.1.1'!?
We are unable to install latest version, because we all know, it will result in parsing error, can't even edit via APK Editor, so those mobiles running Android versions below 7.1.1 will just have to pray, somebody finds a workaround for older versions of Android😞🤲

Yeah but it makes sense to uninstall and reinstall in order there are updates and patches. Because Revanced Extended and MicroG need updates and unfortunately we're using the APK version...

go settings, RUclips revanced, miscellaneous, deactivate falsification from protobuf and it worked for me (mine different language)
EDIT: mine was old version so my method worked, i advice to update to newer version
2nd EDIT: worked for some time but went back so i had to update to newer version

Settings>Miscellaneous> Spoof Player Parameters and enable it and restart

i have the same problem in extended. after i login into account there it worked for a while but today it still has buffering. Now i clicked to fake(?) parameters at the end of settings/revanced extended/ misc/in th e bottom.
Works so far for few videos.
