3D Printed Wall Sculpture - Jagged Loop

- This is how I made Jagged Loop, a 3D printed wall sculpture made from PLA bioplastic.
This sculpture is inspired by the paper geometric work of Matt Shlian, particularly his Unholy 112 sculpture.
That’s what I call a seamless loop. Amazing.

that's art for you. i had to put one of my arms in a sling whilst working on a painting because i was too agressive against the canvas when i was layering. the canvas was fine, my arm trying to make the red smoke was not. and then people look at it and go "pff, i could do that"

I have seen mass-produced, one-piece versions of this in several galleries. Not one of them came even close to this level of beauty. You, sir, are an utterly incredible artist. Your eye does not let you down.

The only reason I saw when it looped was because there was a small pause. This is by far the best loop I've ever seen! (Also, I feel the need to mention how much I love the attention to detail with the paint color!)

As someone who makes things like this, I can say this is SSSSSSSSSSSSSooo much hard work. Even just printing them is not as simple as hitting a button. The failure rate is quite high as well as warping and other things that goes into this. Good job :)

These are the kinds of people I'd personally hire for projects I need done. They put genuine care and effort into their work. And get it done right.
Care, effort, and spatial coordination. I personally have to use a lot of math and referencing to even get half as close to something like he has done. Some people just have that spatial awareness as second nature, while I have to use 90% of my will and attention not to stumble over dust when I'm walking across an empty room.
I always admire people that can dedicate so much time and effort out of their lives to something so unnecessary, simply for the satisfaction of overcoming the obstacles to create something beautiful. Cause the lord knows i've no patience for this. Incredible.

@@froggy5748 sculpting is what the 3d printer does🤡 and he 💀used some sandpaper then airbrushed it. WOW really hard. Everyone is doing these 3d plastic crap. People are sheep and have no originality.
The hardest part is done by the printer and takes the most time. The reason he doesnt do it by HAND. 🤪🤡🤡🤡
