It goes to show how childhood trauma can impact ones life forever. This further illustrates how important Mental Health care is and how much we as society continue to misunderstand it. For all the money and opportunities he has had, he continues to struggle emotionally. The violence and trauma he endured as a child really impacted him. Interesting that his character in Empire has some similarities with his real life. I hope that he is getting the mental health care he needs. I can understand what it’s like to suffer from PTSD and it can be scary to get help, no matter how famous you are. Do I agree with what he has done, no. But it’s definitely clear that he is suffering from PTSD.
He's a very talented man although hes had a very tough painful childhood. More stuff has happened to him than has happened to the average kid . What he went through at such a young age has got to have an effect on you mentally .
