Thank you for teaching us many things. I have a question, how can connect third party equipment via rs485 or rs232? I couldn't find an option in hwconfig.Thank you.
Hi there, If you search on the internet, you can see that RS-232 is used to connect only 2 devices. Also, a maximum of 32 devices can be connected to a standard RS485. So, you need to use RS485 to connect 3 devices together. Because each device has its specific settings, so I can not tell you the settings that you need. I recommend reading the user manual of your devices or asking your question from your product's vendor.
Hey There, folling along for vitual PLC setup, done everything as you have laid out, but getting this error on Download... "The device returned an error when processing the request (error code 16#7002 - The CPU module does not support the function), please check the device." Same PLC, same settings... Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I always try to show all steps of programming clearly, Now you are saying the same device, the same software... But you are getting an error code, well what can i say?
@@plcgoods Thanks for the response, I still seem to be getting a new error, which now states - Incorrect Area Code... Anyways, thank you for the videos! I don't think it has anything to do with your process, its more likely a config setting on this old PLC I am using.
@@plcgoods I am getting the same error even after following every step with great caution. It will be a great help on top of what you have already done to make the viewer understand why this error appears. Thanks in advance.
Thank you for your great content! Please can you explain about series of plc at 8:55? Why did you pointed at AH5x0 series and said that you don't have this item (HWCONFIG)? While this item was at left part of you screen? I'm a little bit confused! 😅
Hi there, As you know, before starting any project, we should select our PLC type. My PLC type is “DVP20SX2”. If I select it as my PLC type in ISPsoft, then I won’t have “HWCONFIG” item on the left side of ISPSoft screen, because this PLC doesn’t need to be configured. But if I select a PLC from “AH5x0” series (like the video), then the “HWCONFIG” item will appear on the left side. Because we need this item to configure this type of PLC. For example we need to determine extended modules or their addresses.
Thanks for very interesting video!!! By the way, does anyone know how to downgrade HWConfig to version 3? installer gets new version from repository, 4.07, if I remember right...
Thank you. Jazakallah. Good basic lesson about communications between software and plc hardware, virtual plc. Please tell us what are the differences between different models of delta plc such as max. I/O can be connected, processor speed, comm.types, ? Why we need these much different models?
Delta has produced different models of PLCs to fit customers needs best. You might need to use a PLC to monitor a very simple task in your machine such as controlling a few pushbuttons and Turing on /off a few relays, so you need to buy a PLC that has bunch of analog and digital IOs. some delta PLCs are built as big as a cigarette packet and very inexpensive! with a very limited number of IOs.
Hi. When I try to open the communication settings it shows a message "Driver info file isn't found. Check the driver info Path". If You could help me please.
Dear Sir, please upload a new video using Delta HMI 107 and delta compact PLC , transistorized out put module and TC module for thermocouples K-type and J-type( Selectable ) to control heater of a plastic mold. selectable SV temperatures from HMI and monitor PV temperatures of mold heaters on HMI thanks a lot
I have developed 26 videos related to programming DELTA PLC in which some of them show how to interface analog equipments to analog port of a DELTA PLC. Please check out those videos. Right now I do not have any video related to an application you mentioned.
Thx you for the content , at the 7:00 minute when u choose to use force for inputs to be actived I tried to choose "set on" for inputs then a popup message appeared " communication error ( function not support) , why?
Hi there, Probably your computer is not connected to your PLC. So, check the connection settings and download your program again, to ensure the connection settings between the PLC and your computer are correct. Also, the current program inside ISPsoft software and the PLC program must be the same. Then activate the online mode.
@@plcgoods thx u for following my reply 🙂 I really appreciate it alot , and for u question indeed not really because I am using virtual plc so there's no real connection my computer and plc only by COMMGR, and also in u vid u mentioned that there's no connection between the inputs and the feed line
