    So excited to try some of these! I know not everyone has access to it, but I love playing PnP games on my tablet + stylus. I've played a lot of Dungeon Pages, Voyages, and a couple others just using a notes app over the pdfs. Very efficient for travelling, just need to bring along a few extra dice.

    I love the creativity surrounding the Print & Play book. And shout-out to Fiskars Paper Trimmer for making cutting crafts so much easier! I've also been using it to make my own original board game while passively watching board game related videos haha. I like the look of the lamination you did. My game involves cutting a bunch of cards, so I opted for sleeving instead of lamination to make them sturdier.

    Great book & game selection. I have played Voyages, Cat Nap & Dungeon Pages.
    Thanks for share your work & your mistakes so we didn’t punch the laminated sheets 😉

      Thank you so much! And haha no problem! If I was able to redo it all I would have just sized them all to the full 8.5x11 sheets of paper and bought a standard 3 hole punch! Instead of trying to fit it all into the weird 8 ring binder I had. But oh well! As long as they are all there and I can play them! 😊

    Voyages and Aquamarine are popular for a reason, both really solid games! For me though, my favourite PnPs are Sunshine City and Wayfarers tale! Those two are phenomenal solo games with tons of variety.

    I use the plastic sleeves for the 3-ring binder and do not laminate… when I get to a game I ❤ and play a lot, then I may laminate it. The sleeves wipe fine for roll and writes 🙂

    I really enjoyed Catnap and have also played the physical copy of Corinth. I definitely want to check out a few you mentioned and great work with your folder. Seeing as you are so crafty, how about just covering that blue folder somehow, could be even cooler than just a regular binder 😊

  • @IvanMallia

    I didn't watch the whole video, but are you going to play these solo? I would receommend one of those "envelope files" (?) with tabs at the top. It's less aesthetically pleasing but more practical I guess. Because you can keep all the copies of each game inside one section if you are playing with others.

    I have much the same way of doing things in my collection, though I use pocket folders instead of a binder. What I have started doing is trying the games out before laminating, so as not to waste resources (materials and time) laminating games that I will ultimately find out are not for me. Usually what I do - since I enjoy dry erase markers - is put the paper inside one of the clear folder covers and play it on the sheath, so I can then laminate the copy down the road if I enjoy. If not, it's a single sheet of paper I can then recycle.

    • @TheBoardGameGarden
      @TheBoardGameGarden  Год назад

      That's honestly a great tip! Thank you! I might actually start playing the games before I laminate them as well. Fortunately I know I really enjoy roll and writes so I'm pretty confident I'll enjoy all of these but going forward that's a great way to do it. 👏🏻

    I love that you made a PnP binder! I'm not as into roll & writes, but I played a few free PnP's over the past couple years and made some video overviews of some of them. The roll & writes (without printing extra cards) were: Raging Bulls, 30 Rails, Ada Lovelace (you already have it), Utopia Engine, Racing Stars, Paleontologists, Abstract, 13 Sheep, Pencil Park, Rollway Station, Rolling Village, and LANTERN.
