It’s not always against a pastor. It can be a spirit against other women in the church, tearing them down and trying to cause division that way.
that's why i left my old church. no leader believed me that someone was tearing us all apart and wanted me to reconcile lol. you want me to be friends with someone who is destroying every relationship i build with others? lol ok
Also, the jezebel spirit is scared of the Bible and the name of Jesus because of its authority and power. I've seen those with the spirit get angry when people try to correct them using Scripture.
I'm in the UK. Mate, it's everywhere. Even worse, the men are scared of her. Literally scared.

I have seen this spirit in both men and women and yes, recently I have visited churches some, and Jezebel and Laodecia spirits are there

A church I visited years ago was torn up by the pastor being a male narcissist. At some point he only had submissive females attend while criticising their husbands for refusing to attend. He then turned and criticised mine who actually started to apologise while he has been in hospital with heart problems. A man controlling another. I had never seen my usually confident husband so submitted to another man and it was not healthy. It was spiritual oppression. We left and then joined a church where the pastor respected my man while being able to challenge us to walk with the Lord. It's all about control and not submitting to Christ. You can feel when it's off and we should remember it enters males too.
Of course there is a woman in the comments crying that men do it too……

Very weak men also appear as Jezebel spirits all through the church .
Weak men have the Ahab spirit and the women have the jezebel spirit.
It should be that clear, but these messy, disorganized filthy spirits follow no order.
And Mark Driscoll is the weakest of them all.

Jezebel is a spirit so a man could also have this. I believe most everyone has dealt with this in one form or another so we should be on guard. If anyone finds themselves controlling or being manipulative, then repentance is needed. This is NOT just a woman thing. Robert Morris from Gateway goes in depth with this and it is so good.
Mark Driscoll talks about that in his multi-part Days of Elijah series, the Jezebel spirit is anyone male or female, who has a domineering, controlling, argumentative spirit and always has to have all of the control, all of the attention and need to always be the most important, influential person in any situation, with no humility and zero admission they’re ever wrong about anything.

I would like to make it clear there's also men that play victim.
When they are confronted.
They live their lives saying oh I go in depression when people say things that's your first sign.
They trade credit for things they've never done.
It's I was someone else's fault for what happened. Even though they were there by themselves.
Oh well with me I guess you can blame me me for everything.

I used to attend a mega church where the pastor's study didn't have a window in it, and I always thought it was a mistake that he would meet alone with people of the opposite sex with the door shut. He ended up having an affair and losing his position.
Thanks Pastor Mark. The jezebel spirit is kicking strong in this culture. They seek to destroy just like the devil, and many of them don't even know it. Maybe God has given many of them over to a strong delusion as in 2 Thessalonians 2:11.

I HAVE SEEN THIS HAPPEN IN A CHURCH I WENT TO. WAS COMPLAINING. HAD CHRISTMAS PARTY BUT DIDN'T TELL PASTOR AND FAMILY. HE SHOWED UP TO PARTY. SAID HE WASN'T INVITED. SHE REALLY DID DAMAGE AND LEFT CHURCH AND TOOK PEOPLE WITH HER. SHE HAD TO BE CENTER OF ATTENTION.

I was asked to leave a church because I didn’t believe in pretribulation and I wouldn’t submit to the pastor on my land!

This is so accurate, that I hope I'll find this video, whenever I would need it, as much as for constructive criticism on myself as for spotting ladies, couples like these out.
I sadly have listened to women, who behave(d) like how it's been described here... 2 years ago I've listened to just 2 of them, I think... and that guidance leads astray INDEED. This is why I ended up, where I did.
They ran on social media with sentences, like:
"I am in a relationship with a man as a Christian, who is an atheist, and it works just fine" ( - only by tolerating it, the result: keeping myself to 1 Corinthians 6:18 is gone from my intentions in just a few weeks, thinking that romantic love can become the one to save me... WRONG! - tried! was a never-ending LOOKING nightmare!). I am not going to be too hard on myself, because the COVID isolation has brought out the worst of basically everyone, while I am also not going to regret the next move I've made: as soon as I got wiser, I've stopped following new age people or the self proclaimed Christian ladies with all the very non-biblical ideas and bad fruits. Feel free to pray for me to keep on staying strong.
Even as a single I hardly ever feel independent. God's grace and mercy alone is keeping me...
and there's another line, what doesn't come to my mind at the moment, but is similarly bad too.

I have seen Jezebel in Pastor Mark youtube videos comment section, she/he may not be in his church but very active online. Actually most Jezebel's thrive online attacking churches.
People who talk about the Jezabel spirit in a negative way, did not start their walk with Jesus in ISA:61.
Interesting. I think it’s at epidemic levels in this hour. I was being ahabed by a Jezebelic spirit most of my life Even from childhood and didn’t really know it. I thought that’s just normal . It’s something that can be passed generationally through family lines.generational sin and mother/father wounds give foul spirits an open door ,I believe . It found its way in my marriage as well and cause much havoc. It’s showing up less frequently now because we recognize we as a couple have to war in the Spirit not the flesh. Comfort culture Christianity is not working anymore for church as a whole , to be transparent the absolute minute I fall to my fleshly passive state Jezebel comes and tries to attack us. If Jezelbel can’t get my wife to do something out of order or get me to ahab into passivity or fall to the temptation of pornography . A phone call from her mom or sister at the most impeccable timing when we are most spiritually weak is going to follow right on the heels or it’s something at our work that Satan will use to try to flex Jezebel on us. Spiritual warfare is real folks, it is intensifying in this hour. It’s time to get on our knees men pray, fast and seek God like never before. If it was the last days in the early Church age surely we are in the last ticking minutes. Men ,Pray for your heart to be strengthened for the battle before you, ask God to give you a heart like Jehu to face Jezebel. Elijah ran from Jezebel, Jehu didn’t . May the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all in these last moments.

The Bible is the word of God. Why so much interpretation? No one looks at the Bible the same way, not even within the same church. Everyone is equally confident with their beliefs too

When Christians disagree this is not proof of the Bible being written by man. Maybe you aren’t familiar with this but Christianity is on a spectrum between Conservative to progressive. Fundamentalist to charismatic. Continuationist to cessationist . In the whole of Christianity there are what they call essential or “spine” issues that are essential to the basis of faith meaning Belief in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, who was God who came to earth human form born of a virgin , lives the perfect sinless life, dies a horrific death and resurrected 3 days later and then after 500 witness see this over a period of 40 days he assended to Heaven to be with the Father. and then there are secondary issues where we are allowed by God to have different opinions on which comes from religion or “church culture “ These secondary issues do not effect salvation. In fact not even the debate about the age of Earth effects salvation. Great men and women of God disagree on the age of the Earth. It’s what we do agree on that Gets us to heaven and that’s Jesus’ work on the Cross. Good people don’t go to heaven , forgiven people do. There is going to be a lot of “good” or “nice” people who wind up in Hell because they refused to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Im not able to find a church that isnt teaching lukewarm watered down skim milk..one pastor actually apologized for teaching on revelation (very badly) and promised if anyone didnt like it, he would never do it again..really tragic. One church had a Christmas carols evening (thats what they said) and it started like a rock concert and a guy dressed like slash came out onto the stage..i left. No hot, hard hitting truth churches in Qld Australia...
My church had a "women's ministry council". If you saw any information on the group, it always said that God raised up these women. At the time I was faithful to go to business meetings. Not once was there a conversation or vote to have this. The funny thing is they kept changing the name and each name sounded a little more reasonable. I love my church but anything thats done by this group, I don't participate.
My ex sister-in-law is exactly like that she was domineering, controlling manipulative always a victim, always a victim. To her My brother was the worst thing on the side of the Mississippi. Don’t get me wrong. My brother was evil too. However, he let her rule the roost and wear the pants and they destroy my family and then have the audacity to blame it on me And most of my family will not talk to me now and it’s been at least 10 years. I’m OK with it I’m following Jesus and that’s all I care about this woman would go out and try to extract money from me my dead sister-in-law, who was alive than my mother, any human being that she thought she could get money from she was singing her sad song storyAnd tell how horrible her life is and how she is financially destitute, but please give me money so I can buy books for my children and she would get money from me from my mother from my sister-in-law for the exact thing. before my sister-in-law died right before she died from cancer She got almost $10,000 from her. This woman is a direct descendent of hell. God help her on judgment day.

The Bible tells us a woman should not be a spiritual covering for a man or to sit in authority over him. Clearly God can use women powerfully in ministry as was the case of Priscilla in the book of Acts and the 4 daughters of Philip who prophecied. Jesus’ ministry was supported by women as well. The Bible instructs older women to disciple younger women in the faith as well. Is there a proper headship yes, relegated to silence? Certainly not.

JEZEBEL represents the false prophets and can be in a church that has love, faith, service and perseverance where she has the authority to do whatever she desires.
How acts a person who represents Jezebel?
- Takes the servants of God to a wrong path
- Misleads the servants of God into sexual immorality
- Makes the servants of God commit idolatry
“I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first. Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. WHAT IS IDOLATRY?
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines the word IDOLATRY as follows:
- the worship of a physical object as a god
- immoderate attachment or devotion to something
The Word of God defines idolatry in two ways:
- Worshipping images
“You shall have no other gods before me. “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.” (Exodus 20:3-4 NIV)
- Living to please our sinful desires
“Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.” (Colossians 3:5 NIV)
Making this about women seems dangerous, bc it can be used to suppress women who are telling the truth about abuse, etc. I don't see women as the biggest problem in the church. I think it's weak men who are permitted and enabled to lead in the church when they cannot lead their own families in Christ-like servitude. There are too many men abusing their power in the church.

Abuse is rare its mostly woman who are rebellious and complaining. As transformed wife has proven.
That being said ever situation needs to be invested and confirmed and yes abuse is not right but it rare compared to rebellious complaining woman.

That being said if it legitimate abuse it needs to be dealt with but every situation needs to be investigated and confirmed.
Jezebel is a foul or demonic spirit that can influence men and women.While there are men who abuse spiritual authority there are far more men who are abandoning their spiritual authority in this hour because they are being influenced spiritually by Jezebel, . . This Church corruption is becoming common because men and women are not seeking the calling and annointing of God for their calling to preach but rather are using the worldly model of going to school (seminary) for worldly credentials and building a “Church” that dosent follow the New Testament church model of Eldership type of leadership. They instead use the CEO model from the world and often are not annointed to preach or pastor. A Church run by worldly systems with worldly credentials will get you worldly results sister in Christ.
I had stopped going to church precisely because of the jezebel spirit. Years later I thought it was time to go back to church so my daughter and I went to church. The very first time we were welcomed and loved but as time went by the pastor's oldest daughter started showing signs of jezebel spirit let me explain, I needed to talk to the pastor's wife about a very personal private matter and the daughter was clingy as soon as she saw me trying to talk to her mother. I thought that it was rude and disrespectful but her mother didn't tell her anything. If that was me and my daughter did that as a pastor's wife I would of told my daughter to give me a minute. Time and time again this went on and on so I really couldn't have a grown up conversation with the Mom. Long story short and it got out of hand when my daughter got engaged and had made arrangements with the pastor's wife about helping her do her hair on the wedding night. Last minute she bailed out on my daughter but thankfully another woman came through for her. Many other awful things like this followed which are too many to count. That church is in trouble. I ended up leaving the church and don't think I want to attend another church unless they put a stop to the jezebel spirit and the pastor stops catering to it. So sad 😢
