@@gtlegacy8 wow, that's cheap. I usually pay $2.5k just in shipping, agents, and custom broker fees. Where did you buy it from and what country are you in?
I thought that the Outback never had a sedan version. There are plenty of Sedan Legacys so I guess you could swap over the suspension and make a lifted sedan. That would be really cool.
@@PacificCoastAuto Well first off sorry I could be wrong but what im referring to the Legacy version of their Sedan. I own a 2005 Legacy Gt (sedan/Canada) but in Australia its referred to as Liberty Sedan. Chassis-BL
The car looks fantastic. The engine almost looks new. Very nice purchase for some lucky Canadian.
Gorgeous
Huh, strange to see this imported since we got these.
Would love a 6-speed Legacy.
Probably it's to have a certificated and good used unit.
@@MallocFree90 Quite a few nice ones exist in the UK. Would work out cheaper for sure. But eh, nice to have JDM I suppose.
@@R33Racer JDM street cred obviously
did the japanese market ever get an H6 Outback like north america did? i know they have regular legacy H6 but i believe they are only in auto
Those cars are really good...
Omg, i just bought USDM 2008 Impreza Hatchback
Nice car, but not sure why you would import one to the UK. These can be found here quite easily.
Nice video! Do you also make a video of the red Accord in front of the Subaru?
I'm afraid not for that one. It's nice though.
@@PacificCoastAuto I like these jdm Accord's a lot.
Are they often offered for sale in Japanese car auctions?
Oh baby! A triple!
I purchased this car 5 years ago from auction for like $1k excluding shipping.
So the car was like $100? Lol
@@WestSide1207 yeah that sounds rediciously cheap, but I guess its possible in Japan
@@maxim430 well, he said excluding shipping, but he still has to pay an agent $900-1100 for the paperwork and all additional fees, no?
WestSide1207 around $2.5k total for the car once landed to my country Port.

These cars and pretty much any Subaru cars with non turbo 2.5L engines here in North America are Popular for head gasket failures around 100k miles.
100k miles whitch one lol
Yeah but Poor maintenance may contribute to that too
Gutted that these can be imported to the UK. In Kenya, we cannot import anything more than 8 years old.
No this is a authentic wagon. Right?
More vehicles please
Please find a sedan version of this (preferable a gt) to showcase ;0

@@PacificCoastAuto at least the US market got an Outback sedan starting in certain markets in 1997 and all markets in 1998 through 2007.
