I haven't uploaded a touhou cover in far too long, so here is one !
I used a sustain pedal on some parts.

You're the only person I've seen so far that treats the Launchpad like an actual instrument and realizes its potential - absolutely beautiful. Please stay amazing, love every piece you've put out so far.
TTsuyuki Shawn makes great stuff but he doesn’t use it as a single instrument composed only of notes like here he still uses samples ^^
TTsuyuki: Just checked out a track, Marble Soda, and while I was not consciously aware of Shawn Wasabi, I have heard this track before (BakaOppai videos, if you're familar). If this indeed a single performance, I gotta say, that's great!
You were spot on btw.; what you described as a negative example is pretty much all I've been exposed to so far in regards to the Launchpad, until I found Skafendre. Good to know there are others out there that really push themselves to their limits with it.

xd xd That doesn't really help much as touhou music is made with so many genres with many artists focusing around so many different styles from heavy metal to techno to symphonic orchestral to folk and more. But I'm unsure what this song in particular would be called in genre; Thus why I asked.

Amazing job! Please do upload more Touhou covers; this was an absolute treat to listen to. If I could make some requests, they would be:
1. Reisen's theme: Invisible Full Moon
2. Eirin's theme: History of the Moon
3. Byakuren's theme: Cosmic Mind
(I'd recommend many more to be covered in such a masterful fashion, but felt I should cut it down to three for now!)
