Almost been 5 years since this came out. I'd really like to see somebody take this formula and make it even better. And I wouldn't say Tales from the Galaxy's Edge really scratches that itch. About to do a playthrough of Jedi Outcast in VR, and I've played that game since it came out in '02. And there's STILL a community there that loves dueling after all these years. Seems like a no-brainer to make a Star Wars saber/force game where friends can duel one another, for modern times. Seems like no one ever wants to act on the cool ideas, only the "safe"/sure-thing ones. Which makes it even more frustrating, because OG Star Wars (I say 'OG' to differentiate from Disney) would sell like crazzzy. Dunno what devs/distributors are thinking. Probably just listening to their corporate investors. You'd think the success of this series would tell them, "hey, we want more of this", but nope.
I agree, I'm not sure why they aren't taking advantage of VR more. I thought maybe they'd have a sequel to Immortal. But we could definitely use a serious multiplayer game. Id be interested in Outcast, its my favorite SW game. Even though the game is a couple years old, I've been surprised by all the interest it still gets. That's why I made this video now. And alot of the top videos online might have millions of views but they're poorly put together and explain nothing about the game
